    The printer driver does not provide the functionality of the printer mirror.

    To work around the problem, you can set another pilot that provide this functionality:

    First, go into control panel > printers and devices

  • Windows Vista repair boot loop - please help.

    Hello

    I had trouble with my laptop startup and having the dreaded loop of the Startup Repair. It started last night and I did everything I could to get it to allow me to connect on the long desk, enough to get my files, but there all come without result. I am now on my attempt 67th to get startup repair and desperately need help. My only problem is, is I have not backed up my files both needs so I can't do a full restore of the PC. Call me stupid, because I already know that I am.

    I already tried the three security modes, the last good configuration known and all the rest on the list of F8, but also contact Toshiba support, but none of them has nothing to help me. I did the whole thing from the CHKDSK, but she came back everything was clean, much like the Startup Repair tool says that there is 1 origin but he can't find not and comes up with the error code 0x0. I do not have a re-temperament of OS disc either and nor do I live near a "Geek Squad" of any kind. In addition, I can't restore my computer to an earlier point.

    I am at my wits end and very close to burst into tears because I can't get my laptop to work and I think my only option I have left is to do a complete restore of the PC, and I REALLY don't want to do that. My life is on my computer and I feel so stupid for it backs do not. This will definitely a lesson to be learned.

    My computer is a model of Toshiba Satellite L355D with windows SP2 and Vistax32bit.

    Please help me, and if this issue is resolved, then, I will be eternally grateful.

    Thank you for your time,

    MissSakura

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Data recovery, if required:
    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.
    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.
    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:
    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html
    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

    Download the Vista software from the link above.

    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.

    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
  • No video playback after HP 64-bit of Windows reinstalled 7 - don't please help
    Hi I was wondering if someone could please help. I recently reinstalled W7 Home Premium 64-bit on my Acer Revo RL70 with graphics Radeon HD6320 after that my upgrade of the W10 went wobbly. Videos worked perfectly before on sites such as Youtube and Amazon Prime. Now, I just get a screen green and sometimes audio, sometimes not. I have uninstalled/reinstalled flash player. The browser is more recent IE11. Graphics drivers are later. One thing I noticed, is that there is now no Center control AMD (don't know if this is relevant). I'm not supremely PC read and write. I searched and refined over the last 2 days before finally coming on this forum I didn't really want to be a pain in the butt of someone. I am now at the point where I am naïve. Any expert pass would have an idea where I am going wrong? Thanks in advance. SY :)
    Update - has just installed Google Chrome and Youtube and other streaming sites seem to work ok. Woohoo! But my favorite browser is still IE (with the awesome Bing home page). If anyone knows if my Internet Explorer settings are to blame in some way? I honestly can't understand... :(
    Hi Simon,.
    With the publication of the description, I understand that you are having problems in playing videos on IE11 on your Windows 7 machine. I will certainly help you get this problem.
    This problem may occur due to hardware acceleration or incorrect settings of internet explorer. We will try these steps and check if that helps.
    Method 1 : Disable hardware acceleration
    I suggest you go through the steps below:
    a. open Internet Explorer.
    b. go to youtube.com.
    c. Select any video to watch.
    d. when it start loading press pause.
    e. right click on the video.
    f. uncheck the box that says hardware acceleration.
    g. restart Internet Explorer.
    Try Method 2, if the problem persists
    Method 2 : Change the settings of Internet Explorer
    Follow the steps below:
    a. open Internet Explorer.
    b. go to tools > Internet Options.
    c. switch to the tab 'Advanced '.
    d. scroll down to the 'Multimédia' heading
    e. make sure that "Play sounds in web pages" is checked. Click on 'ok '.
    Restart Internet Explorer. A test to see if you can hear sounds online.
    For additional information, you can view the article:
    Why the videos will not play in Internet Explorer?
    I suggest you perform the steps mentioned in the article below and check out them.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Internet-Explorer/videos-Don ' t work #ie = ie-11
    Note: Reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings. Reset Internet Explorer is not reversible, and all the previous settings are lost after reset.
    Hope this information is useful. Please come back to write to us if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.
    Hi, I have a security camera (ip camera) and Windows keeps giving me this message so I can't log on to it.   I go to the site (ip address), I connect with my username etc, then I get the message telling me her active x add on has been blocked, I leave, I have to re - login, then as it starts loading I get IE message security (Windows has blocked this software because it cannot verify the Publisher) with the name:DVM_IPCam.2.cab and the editor : Unknown Publisher.   I've activated all (or the value invites) security settings, I was able, including active x and followed the advice given on the previous questions forum I found (this is a trusted site (I enter the ip address) but I still get the same message.)  Please can someone help, I can't control the security camera more.  I can connect via my ipad without problem, but the controls are very limited.  I can connect via my pc at home, but no point in surveillance camera domestic home! I bought this netbook specifically so I could use IE to log in my camera remotely, but it is a nightmare.   I spent the last 6 hours trying to solve this problem, it is a striking reminder why I left Windows products in the first place.  Come on Microsoft, give me some kind of hope to restore my faith in your products once more.
    The usual way to check an editor is using a digital signature.  Maybe your system is not able to verify the digital signature because it can not find this signature through a path to a 'reliable Source '.  The signatures of tracing back the tree successfully will end by one of your trusted root certificates installed on your machine.  Unlike later versions of Windows, Windows XP updates not very well its root certificates.  Your application can use a more recent path of signature that you have not installed on your machine.  There is no guarantee that this will solve your problem, but you seem desperate and it can never hurt to update your certificate root on your copy of Windows.
    To update your root certificates, go to the following article:
    "Members of the certificate program root Windows.
      <>http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/931125 >
    Jump down to the subsection titled "Root Update Package (designed for Windows XP only)".  Click on the link "update for root certificates... "(do not use the option to update catalog).  This will take you to a page where you can click to download an update package.  Download this package and double-click it to install it.
    Restart, and if you're lucky, this may solve your problem.
    PS: I have nothing to do with Microsoft.  I am a user like most everyone here.
    Hello:
    You can try it, but you will have to connect it to a USB 2 port to boot from the DVD drive or go into BIOS and check that the USB3 ports are positioned at the legacy.
    In addition, you had to change 2 settings of the BIOS to be able to install and run W7.  Who do you too?
    Hey Rocky671
    "just took me to the usual stuff.
    What was the usual stuff
    1st thing to try is a restoration of the system in safe mode
    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm
    Windows Vista
    Using the F8 method:
    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer'shardware be listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista .
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.
    If that does not read this information
    and if all else fails and you need to reinstall vista are the normal methods for computers preinstalled vista portable
    Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send vista recovery discs
    they do it for a nominal cost of $
    also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
  • Question AHCI with Bootcamp Windows 7 on Macbook Pro (please help!)
    Hello, I've been running into issues with my Early 2011 15 "Macbook Pro since I used Bootcamp to install Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium on my new Samsung 840 Evo SSD, I installed in it." What I read, it meets the criteria to run AHCI, but for some reason, I can do activate or install the Intel series 6 Chipset AHCI drivers.
    I was thrown around the web with people saying: they got their SSD to work on the Windows partition, but I can't understand what I'm doing wrong.
    Here is the link that I got more at Apple, which has all of the other information that you might be looking. If this isn't the case, please post and I will reply as soon as possible.
    Hi Vivremm,
    1. what happens when you try to change the date and time are you get any message of error?
    2. what exactly is the problem we are facing with Windows?
    No update of Windows, to keep your PC safe and running smoothly.
    There are different types of updates. Critical updates or security updates protect against malware and security exploits vulnerabilities. More updates, correct the errors that are not related to security, or enhance the functionality.
    Each time a new update is essential to avoid a newly discovered operation or prevalent targeting Windows users. Windows Update can be configured to install updates automatically as long as the computer is connected to the Internet
    I recommend you to check the date and time, see the procedure in the following article.
    Change the display of dates, times, currencies, and measures
    Please provide us with more information about the issue so that we can better help you.
