• E4200 block a URL on the WHOLE network

  I'm trying to block two URL on the network through my E4200. I'm having a devil of a time to do this, I have connexiona my router via the browser (web Setup) (because I think that Cisco Connect on the Mac is the worst software ever written.) And I go to the page of Access Restrictions. I understand that I have to use the part of the strategy of Internet access to do some more advanced than the Parental control settings.

  I have a name for my rule, well. Activate it. Go to the page of PC applied. Open the page for entering the MAC and IP addresses.   Your settings are correct, except that you must leave the slash at the end of the URL.

  The deny/allow buttons are for internet access, which is why when you clicked on refuse, you have lost the connection to the internet.

  Most likely the vCO server is configured to listen on 0.0.0.0 (all available interfaces).

  You can try to change specific IP using vCO Configurator-> Network tab.

  been beating my head against a wall, trying to understand it. any help would be appreciated!

  I have install MAMP (Mac OS 10.7.x) by following the instructions provided in the Lynda.com series of videos on 'Dreamweaver CS5 with PHP & MYSQL' and it seems to work initially very well.

  had a friend convince me to temporarily change the testing server to be the same as the remote server, then it could help me with coding. all was well with it

  (except for a pesky non-invasive question @ http://forums.adobe.com/message/4213465#4213465).

  but now I want to test my MAMP and get this error message:

  I understand the difference between a 'site root' & link 'document '. so it seems that this question is because of the way I have my setup directories, huh.

  so, if it really comes down to these 2 options to solve this problem, which would you recommend?

  new question: I just do my test server directory at the same time as the directory on my site?  a friend had me check the box test server with box remote server for awhile before things built. It seemed to work (tho was annoying about how long I had to wait for DW between each save/open). I guess I don't know exactly what DW did when I view a page in the browser and have a test server on. How would that be different than just download via remote server & goes on the url to test?

  or, would it make a difference to tell the test server to go to the MAMP folder as tutorial told to do?

  just for fun, to see what would happen, I advanced and changed the links local news compared to the parameters of root of Document Site. After that, I turned on the test server (without changing anything), and I now get a NEW message (screenshot below). Ugh.

  to try to be proactive, I advanced and changed my MAMP control to use the suggested folder/Applications/MAMP/htdocs and then changed the server accordingly settings test DW. no change. If I have the local news links the value 'site root' I get the first error message, if I have it set on 'document', I get this error message.

  I'm SO confused. These messages are not very well written or I am just stupid :-(

  Okay, so I decided to go (again) through the tutorial step by step to set up MAMP and setting parameters of DW to use it. but this time, instead of using the Lynda.com tuut, I use @ http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/setup_php.html

  They said it IS better to have just a location for your site & your test server directories! so, I created a whole new set of site in DW and follow their instructions and IT SEEMS to BE WORKING WITHOUT ANY OF THESE ERRORS NOW!

  I have a little trouble with PHP treatment after the implementation of a virtual server on apache.

  Apache is installed and the document root is "C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs", which was originally as localhost as well
  
  Virtual hosting must be put in place for "C:\WEBSITES\mysite" this directory, you will see, is outside the htdocs directory.

  I'm looking to solve a problem of blue screen with my measure blocking
  application, which I am developing with C++. Blocking seems manifest
  a little random after a variable amount (500-50 000) of voltage analog
  measures. My application needs to make a huge amount of these digitally
  trigger voltage measures after a certain period of time, and I'm using a
  unique
  task to do. The task is stopped and started after a single measure

• Asp for the URL prefix Mac

  Just buy a mac and love it!
  
  My problem is that I create asp pages and would like to develop on my new mac, but we all know the mac usually run a test like iis server. So when you try to set the url prefix I can't seem to find what would be the URL. I know that on my pc, the prefix is something like http://localhost/SOMETHING/ but I would like to know the prefix so that he can work the Mac. I read somewhere that when your development asp pages on a mac that you would have to use a pc in network runing iis inorder to test pages. In short, when you try to set the prefix of test server I can't seem to connect.
  
  Anyone know the prfix or can you show me an example of how you have configured your on your mac? I use Dreamweaver MX and OS X.

  I tried that Darrel had suggested ( http://ipOfServer/ ) and low and here is it worked. I just discovered the IP Addy of my Windows Server computer and which inserted in the URL prefix field in Dreamweaver.

  It depends on how you have implemented the redirect. If you have set up through your operator (I think that such a thing is possible), then Yes. For example, if I use the app messing my carrier on my iPad, I get all the messages sent to my number of mobile directly from my career, even if I had blocked on my iPhone. If the transmission have been implemented through settings on the iPhone, not because the messages never reach the iPhone.

  You have any filter http commands and orders url server configured? If so, there is an option to truncate long URLS.

  In addition, bugs seem to exist in the http inspection engine in versions after 7.1 (2). Try to disable the http inspection and see if the problem goes away.

• Windows 7 does not block on a domain with a 15 minute lockout policy

  Using Windows 7 Professional on a domain with servers 2008 as the domain controller.  Group Policy is the computer automatic locking after 15 minutes of inactivity.  When I look at my screen saver options, the options to change the time is grayed out so I know it receives from the server policy.

  I do not see the services running in the background which could hold only snaps do not.  I have several other Win 7 Pro on the nextwork with the same software that block correctly after 15 minutes.

  I can leave my laptop for more than 15 minutes even hours and when I come back, that's not invited me to a ctl + alt + delete to log back.

• iFrames and blocks direct URL access to certain pages

  I've been designing a site in Muse using Widgets (iFrames) of the Composition. Because the site that I create is quite large with updates and frequent changes, I won't be publish and download the entire site, whenever I have make a change or add content (like muse seems to force me to do, even when I change a single image). So as a work, within the iFrame, I insert HTML that links to a separate "mini site" Muse in another folder in my folder root (in a manner similar to adding a blog or Twitter feed into a Widget). This way I can make changes and don't have to publish and download small pieces of the larger site. These mini-sites conducted small, contents are incomplete in regard to corporate image and layout of Web site and I don't want people to access it directly, but I DON'T want the search engines to access information in their breast.

  So how can I block a public direct URL access to the "mini-sites" without blocking the site parent to access and display them in the iFrame? I want the user to be redirected to the site parent if a picks up more search engine "mini site" content, rather than being directed to the page itself.

  I know that I won't be able to this in the Muse, using Dreamweaver or any other editor is fine. I'm not fluent HTML, PHP, CSS, or any other language, but I can muddle my way through it, if I have the direction.

  I hesitate now to present a link to the test site I've created (even if I could do it on request), so I hope I have explained myself well enough.

  This has nothing to do with the Muse or elsewhere in the HTML. You would have to put in place a whole bunch of rules server side to transfer users and extract content from specific referents, but in the end, there are a lot of mumbo jumbo for nothing. Search engines can pretend to be browsers browsers can pretend to be stupid to caterpillars and even obscured links can be followed in any way. You should just press F12 and cross browser debugging console. I'm afraid that it is something that you really can do it properly, using a dynamic system where you can use the ID session PHP, cookies, or personalised channels encoded in your URL. In your scenario current all you can do is to use .htaccess and robots.txt files to block search engines to dig in your records, but they still don't sign up under your main domain name and not necessarily pass. On the other hand, since the search engine still has the URL of the folder, little sleuths like me could pull off, stick it in a separate window and then apply the view of the folder for the site when possible or browse your files based on the URL in the iFrame code or their names. What you want is fundamentally mutually exclusive and goes against the work of sites HTML static how.

  Here's how you can enable "click-to-play", a built-in feature of Firefox for Flash. This will delay the Flash start on a page, until you approve.

  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Search 'Shockwave Flash' and always change 'enable' to 'ask to activate '.

  When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification in the address bar icon and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.
