  • 8530p blue screen after the awakening of the mode standby.

    Hello.

    Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit. (EDITED)

    A user has a problem as his computer blue screens after he was awakened to "sleep" mode and the other thing is this problem is intermittent.

    The error message I saw said that it was a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP error message is 0x0000007A and the second parameter was 0xC000009D.

    According to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559211 (v = vs. 85) .aspx this type of error indicates - "0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective wiring or in bulk, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive."

    Hard disk, I ran the tests integrated in the BIOS, online tool check the system of HP for laptop PC (http://h20239.www2.hp.com/techcenter/HP_SystemCheck/hp_syscheck.htm) and same Seagates own Seatool because there is a Seagate drive in the machine. All these tests said nothing about a problem with the hard drive.

    The online tool, said there is no update available on the BIOS drivers.

    I even had the user to remove the hard drive and put it back to make sure he wasn't a wire loose, bad connection or something like that.

    I phoned helpdesk of HP where I live and I told him this and he said that it is most likely a software problem.

    So so I need help to find out what software might be behind this error.

    I can't provide shocks either, given the error and blue screen also says "dump of physical memory failed with status 0xC0000010.".

    So is it a known software that could be the cause of these problems?

    EDIT: As pointed out by erico, I forgot the information about this operating system. That's why I added this information at the top of my first post.

    Sorry I have not responded earlier.

    It seems that the problem is solved since the user had no blue screens for over a week now.

    The solution was quite simple: reinstall on a new hard drive, even if each test drive, I ran on the subject, said the old drive was ok. This includes BIOS integrated HP and test online, chkdsk in Windows 7 and Seagate tool own Seatool.

    Best regards

    Ljungan.

    Hi Jaycee,

    Blue screen errors can occur if a problem causes Windows 7 to stop or restart unexpectedly. You might see a message that says: "Windows was arrested to avoid damaging your computer."

    These errors can be caused by hardware and software issues, and it can be difficult to solve the problem. The following methods and tools can often help get Windows running again.

    I suggest you remove all external devices except the keyboard and mouse and check if it helps.

    Please follow the methods and the update below us on the State of the question.

    Resolve stop (blue screen) error in Windows 7:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-GB/Windows7/resolving-stop-blue-screen-errors-in-Windows-7

    Note: When you restore the system to a previous state, programs and updates installed later will be deleted.

    Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

    Warning: Before performing a reinstallation of Windows 7, should be prepared for the worst scenarios that led to your existing data on your computer being deleted. These data include data personal, settings, information about the hardware and software drivers. In case of a worst case scenario, you may have to reinstall all the programs. Make sure that you back up personal data to disks or other external storage devices before you reinstall the operating system.

    You can also download the last dump file so that we are able to help you. C:\windows\Minidump

    You can use Windows Explorer and copy the dump files to your desktop or your personal documents folder. Then download them to your Sky Drive folder.

    If you are not able to find the dump file, and then check if it has been activated. To so proceed as follows:

    a. click Start, point to settingsand then click on Panel.

    b. double-click on System.

    c. click on the Advanced tab and then click settings under start-up and recovery.

    d. in the Write debugging information list, click on image partial memory (64 KB).

    For reference:

  • P2715Q, Windows size and location change after the mode 'sleep'

    Hey

    After that the monitor wakes up fashion 'sleep', all the windows are in the upper left corner and in different size just before going to sleep. It makes me crazy. Did not help. Found a few registry hacks key, but it can't be that difficult.

    I use following:

    View P2715Q Dell, Windows 10 Pro GTX 1070

    Everything is up-to-date.

    Really hope you can help me!

    #update 1

    It has something to do with how long the mode 'sleep'. I set the Sleep mode function 1 minute, whereas the display 'falling a sleep' and woke up after 30 seconds or more. Everything was in place.

    This isn't a question of monitor. It is a video card driver problem. Tiles from 1920 x 1080 uses two P2715Q sewn together by the video card driver to get the resolution of 3840 x 2160. So if the video card driver is slow to initialize the awakening from sleep mode, all open windows and icons are tossed at top left. We see this issue "tile" on AMD and Nvidia drivers. All you can do is to continue testing video card drivers latest when they are released.

    Workaround solution =
    * Spend 90% of your icons to the taskbar or the far left background
    * Close all open windows before allowing computer standby modes

  • Black screen HP Elitebook 850 after the mode 'sleep'

    Hello

    I have a HP Elitebook 850, which is about 3 weeks old. It is running Windows 8.1 with most of the HP software, which is available for this model, installed.

    Once the laptop goes into mode 'sleep' may not wake up for some reason any. The screen remains black and seeing everything seems normal. The only thing to do is either ctr + alt + delete to restart or shutdown forced by using the power button.

    Any ideas?

    Best regards

    Has exactly the same problem.  Called HP support.  They said that I needed to downgrade the video driver I was using.

    Specifically they asked me to check the version of the video driver first:

    1. Start screen, type "Device Manager" and then click to open Device Manager.
    2. In Device Manager, expand "graphics cards".  There were two shown:
      Radeon (TM) AMD HD 8500/8700 M M
      Intel(r) HD Graphics Family
    3. They asked me to double click on the graphics card Intel.  The dialog box properties open;
    4. On the tab driver properties dialog box, check the Version of the driver.  Mine was 10.18.10.3379.

    HP support and then asked me to download an older version of the driver, 10.18.10.3316.  Here's how:

    (1) on the laptop in question go to hp.com;

    (2) in the Help menu of hp.com, click Download drivers;

    (3) search by product: Enter 'Elitebook 850 G1' and press Go.

    (4) multiple results will come to the top, select the one that says 'HP EliteBook 850 G1 Base model Notebook PC';

    (5) to select the operating system: "Windows 8.1 (64-bit);

    (6) from the Index to download, select 'drivers - Graphics ';

    (7) tΘlΘcharger "Driver Intel video and control panel (International)" version 10.18.10.3316, November 15, 2013.  It's a big download, 158 MB.

    Once the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file to install it.  If you get a dialog box warning you install an earlier version of the driver that is currently installed, click Yes to continue.

    After you have installed the version 10.18.10.3316 driver, I restarted the laptop.

    To test whether the fix had worked I open a text editor and entered the text without saving it (it was to see if the unsaved document would still exist after that the laptop computer woke up from his sleep).  I then put the laptop to sleep by closing the form.  When I opened it again the light behind the power button has been slowly pulsed on and outside and the screen was black.  Based on the presented power button the laptop out of fashion 'sleep' and return to the lock for recording screen in.  Once connected, I found that the unsaved document was still open for the laptop had obviously just slept and rather than restarted rewoken.

    I hope this helps.

  • Not start only progresses to double blue screen after the force-feeding down

    After many troubles with Trend Micro and following their instructions, I was to open a session and turn it back on.  However, first disconnect and restart options did not work so I had to cut the power.  When turning it back on, the PC got to a screen with dark blue strips on top and bottom and Microsoft XP logo in the blue middle panel.  After trying various boot options in different modes of security etc and running drive Diagnostics (all past) the PC arrives in the same condition every time.  Dell won't talk to me given that all three of my PC are too old, according to them.  I saw on their site where there was such a problem after the update from another provider visus (AVG) where a CD of XP Windows Setup specific should be used with the Recovery Console to be run.  It's something on the order of what the Trend Micro tech said I should do.  With the exception, since Dell won't talk to me I can't get the CD.  With all three PC I bought home, actually provided with a CD because "your new computer does not require an operating system CD".  How can I get such a CD for XP or is there another way?  SW_Engr

    How does this relate to the features of Windows Update?

    If you have purchased the Dell with Windows XP (?) computer pre-installed, Microsoft will NOT provide replacement discs.

    If your computer came with these discs, there is a hidden partition restore (not to be confused with the restoration of the system) you would use to do a clean install (AKA destructive recovery) of Windows. • Blue screen after the installation of the Radeon HD 3450 video card driver

    Original title: I get a blue screen on vista after installing the drivers for my radeon HD 3450 graphics card, windows 7 works very well

    Hi all, hoping someone can direct me towards a solution...

    Have a 2.8GHz Celeron RAM 2 GB machine, install videocard ATO Radeon HD 3450 AGP.

    Equipped with Windows Vista 32-bit, install ATI driver from the ATI site, all installs OK but on reboot, we get BSOD.

    HOWEVER, same machine, running Windows 7 Professional, all installs them and works fine! (it is the same driver ATI for Vista and 7).

    We tried a new installation of Vista, even tried Vista business and Enterprise editions. Same results.

    Latest system drivers and not BIOS updated avaialable. Vista installation had Enterprise with SP1 and enterprise with Service Pack 2 included.

    I have google, downloaded ATI drivers, reloaded OS and drivers, and little matter what we try Vista causes BSOD and 7 works very well!

    If we try the latest beta version of the ATI driver, he refuses to detect the card in Vista, everything works fine in Win 7.

    Any suggestions? Please? !!
