I had to repair windows XP home because of problems does not properly. Everything is well spent up to what I have turned off the PC & unplugged to replace the battery because she would not keep the time or date that the PC was unplugged. After that I started having a bsod with the following error "PCI. SYS - address F76130BF Base at F760C000, Datestamp 3b7d855C". There is more information above this error while ensuring that the hard drive is not complete & update bios I did everything but nothing seems to be working & whenever I boot from the XP CD I get only so far this error keeps coming back. I'm out of ideas & all my experience is not to help me with this error. Can someone help me with this little problem turning into a big headache?
Additional info: Asus M/B rejki Bios update applied, Intel Dual Core CPU E5000 @2. 60 - GHz, 1 GB ram, 160 GB hard drive 70% free, running XP Home SP3 fully up-to-date with.

I still don't understand why you think that you need a new hard drive. There is nothing prevents you to install own XP on the old disk.
If you can't find the right drivers (I don't know where to find them), maybe you can get in Dell's BIOS and change the hard drive controller affecting IDE or legacy or something like that. Then the new disc would work.
Or you can simply put the back of an old man. You can either try to repair your installation of Windows with our help or opt to perform a clean installation.

I got a blue screen error during use normal and after reboot, Windows suggested updated the BIOS, so I've updated with the latest version (5.10). The next day, I got another blue screen and reboot, Windows has suggested that I update my display drivers, I did (to Ver. 8.241)... I have an ATI Radeon X 1400 GPUS. After that, the computer crashed every time that it loaded windows, with a popup on services.exe telling me the computer shuts off in 60 seconds.
I assumed that this was linked to the display driver, so I replaced the drivers with a version earlier than day (8.241 - 034065C). Once I did, it seemed to work and I could use the computer very well for a bit, even play games like GTA, but I'm starting to take again the blue screens, usually just at the opening of the files, etc. and not when you run graphical applications with a lot. The problem disappeared when I turn off my display drivers, but which is not really a solution.
