Blue Screen is probably caused by: intelppm.sys

I have a Windows Server 2012 works correctly for 13 months. Suddenly, last Monday, it appeared a blue screen and the rebooted server. Now the server works, but I don't know what the problem was. I don't want to do it againg.

Can anyone help?.

It's the memory.dmp that was generated.

https://onedrive.live.com/redir?RESID=9B77C87541F04C52! 184 & authkey =! AA02ZM_FK8f64aI & ithint = the file % 2cDMP

It is a hardware problem

X NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE (80)
This is usually due to a hardware malfunction.  The equipment provider should
be called.

FYI for future reference Server questions should be asked on the Technet site as they are beyond the scope of this site

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

  • blue screen - Stop 0x9F caused by hpdskflt.sys

After execution of this recent update, my laptop running Vista 64-bit is not stopped; instead of this, I get a blue screen, then it restarts with a message that windows is not shut down cleanly.  I ran file system command prompt analysis and the result was "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to solve some of them."

How can I fix Windows without having to do a complete reinstall?

The problematic driver that seems to be the origin of the blue screen issue is the hpdskflt.sys:

    BUCKET_ID: X64_0x9F_4_hpdskflt + 2a9b

The hpdskflt.sys is the driver for the HP ProtectSmart hard drive Protection software and is dated May 13, 2011 for this driver may have been recently installed or updated.

What I might suggest is to uninstall the Protection Software HP ProtectSmart hard drive via "Uninstall a program", restart the computer and then see if the error is resolved.

Then reinstall the HP ProtectSmart hard drive Protection software and check that fixed the problem.

Also, because the pilot c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys has been known to cause various blue screen errors in some configurations, I recommend to uninstall the application that has installed this driver, possibly it is Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%,

Then, uninstall the c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys - see "How can I remove driver SPTD on 64-bit operating system?" in the following link:

At startup, I see a message that says: Media test failure.  I can sometimes to vista in normal mode, but then it's a matter of time (not too long usually) before the screen flickers and goes black.  I then turn off the power and restart.  Once it says graphics driver NVIDIA has stopped working properly, I've updated my driver and now it says it's working properly, but I still have the same problem.  My bucket of blue screen error is: 0x116_TdrBCR:2_Tdr:2_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys any help will be greatly appreciated

    Hi zambetti,.

Bug VIDEO_TDR_ ERROR control has a value of 0 x 00000116. This error indicates that an attempt to reset display driver and recover a timeout failed.

    Check out the link:

    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff557263%28VS.85%29.aspx

Since you've already tried to update the Nvidia drivers, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the same check.

You can try to uninstall and reinstall all the programs and features Nvidia drivers and Device Manager.

    Step 1:

Uninstall the audio drivers from programs and features

    a. click on start

    b. type appwiz.cpl in the start search

    c. search for all driver packages, Nvidia, right click and uninstall.

    Step 2:

Uninstall the drivers from Device Manager.

    a. click on start

    b. type devmgmt.msc in search, and then press enter

    c. in find Manager device for the device, right-click on it and select the option uninstall.

After you remove the drivers of these two places, you can try to remove the NVIDIA folder and restart to see if that solves the problem after I installed the generic drivers.

    Step 3:

    To delete the folder:

one. Click on start and Type C:\windows\system32\drivers folder in start search

    b. click on drivers and select nvlddmkm.sys

    c. right click and rename nvlddmkm.sys in nvlddmkm.sys.old. or delete.

    d. restart the computer and check.

You can also check the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers from Nvidia:

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    Hope this information is useful.

original title: Blue error screen, accident of death caused by drivers: ntoskrnl.exe, Wdf01000.sys and tcpip.sys

I currently own an Aura of Alienware Dell, it's an amazing computer. The only problem is that I had a lot of problems, I was able to permanently fix all except this issue. I'll randomly crash blue screen, usually it doesn't happen often and it is normally not triggered by something specific, rarely it will crash at startup. I was able to download an application that can read the cache/dump blue screen crashes:

    34 accidents

    one was caused by Wdf01000.sys

three was a result of tcpip.sys

and all the rest of ntoskrnl.exe

I don't know what caused it, I've had this computer for about a year now and I've never had this problem before. I don't remember an update of the cause, or by downloading any strange apps, downloads or viruses. (I had wiped my computer about 3 months ago)

I don't know too much about software,

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi bloo532,

    1. what application did you use to read dump files?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

It resembles that of the driver on the computer is causing the blue screen.

I have a windows vista pc and have recently updated the antivirus called Avast software. I also installed a few games. The pc was off line during installation. Now, I get the blue screen of death. Driver_IRQL_... Equal Nvstor.sys is the message I get. It won't boot the operating system. Help please!

I solved this problem by using a reinstallation CD of Vista (which I bought). The computer will display several errors of different types eventually, but I probably could connect and use various software to clean the registry, files and other unnecessary.

I can now say the system has been completely resolved and remained effectively. Success!

Moreover, the first thing I did was to remove Avast and install Windows Security Essentials and the computer is currently online (high-speed).

  • Blue Screen Error Code Caused by hal.dll and ntkrnlpa.exe 9F.

original title: BSOD error Code Caused by hal.dll and ntkrnlpa.exe 9F.

    Currently, I'm having a problem on a Fujitsu T1010 with Windows Vista x 84 installed tablet. At a random time that I use my computer, I get a generic blue screen with information DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. The error code is 0x0000009F (0 x 00000003, 0x86f692e0, 0x86f692e0, 0x865a6598). BlueScreenView.exe, I see that the root causes are hal.dll + 997f and ntkrnlpa.exe + f5b28. So far, I've had 14 accidents. I run the driver verifier and the causes are hal.dll + 726c and ntkrnlpa.exe + 2ea5a7 windrvr6.sys + 0. Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

    Hello

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

Updated drivers, BIOS and software control (if any) is a good idea.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - reset after each
    installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
    manually if you wish.

  • Blue screen issue caused by: Ntfs.sys (Ntfs + 213 8)

    Hello!

Only, I lived my first BSOD on a brand new (one day) PC that I assembled. The PC Assembly consists of:

    M/B: Gigabyte 880GA-UD3H
Processor: AMD Athlon II X 2 250 (with integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250)
HARD drive: Seagate ST3750528AS (750 GB) SATA drive
OS: Genuine Windows 7 pro 64-bit EN DSP

Please note that I have not installed an Antivirus program again. The installation procedure went well, the only thing that I noticed that after pressing a little hard on the motherboard saying turbo part 3D started moving a little liiiitle instead of being completely still. (I don't know if this has to do with anything here, I don't even know what this turbo 3D part, if someone could explain to me...)

I open the DMP file that says that the BSOD probably caused by: Ntfs.sys (Ntfs + 213 8).

Could you please tell about the cause of the problem and the solution?

I desperately need your help since it is on a PC that I need for work.

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

    Philippe

  • blue screen nvlddmkm.sys for nVidia GeForce 9500 M on studio dell XPS 1340. recently upgradeed to windows 7, fine for a while but now cela and has many problems: BSOD, freezing, CPU utilization more... I DO __HOW FIX IT?

Hi, well bad get right to it. I have a dell studio XPS 1340 and have recently upgraded to Windows 7 last week. everything was fine until last Monday. When I switched high performance mode for my battery, my nVidia card also goes to Boost Performance. but this time, I got a blue screen with this:

    nvlddmkm.sys

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Since then I tried to update the video driver from the dell site and even the nVidiasite. one of them gives me a blue screen as soon as I get to the windows login screen. and the other divides my GeForce 9500 M into its two parts > GF 9400 MG + GF 9200 AMS. When this happens, I can't use the nvidia Control Panel and I can't go to boost performance. I have uninstalled and installed these drivers in safe mode too, but no luck. I system restored before the weekend, when everything was fine, but still the same problem. so now, I have the driver 8.15.11.8633 version

other side effects I've noticed is that Skype does not work either. When I first upgraded to win 7, Skype has worked well. but now, when I run a video or normal call, my computer completely freezes. In addition, the games I play seem to decrease in performance. I used to be able to play very good Burnout Paradise, but now there is a significant drop in fps. also, the computer seems to use more cpu and heats more quickly. The battery life has decreased too. and when I use windows media center to connect with my xbox360, my phone freezes when I try to access a video.

I tried the diagnostics start and the only problem was:

Error code: 0F00:133 media suitible C Msg:No drive is present

and today, I used the windows debugger and it came with it. im sure this is good information, but I don't know how interperate it. Please help and thanks in advance!

  • Kindle keyboard causes error on blue screen of Windows 7

Monday, July 23, 2012, I bought two books on Amazon.com for my Kindle, selected the option "transfer via USB," tie my Kindle to the computer and transfer books him without any problem.

Wednesday, July 25, 2012, I have attached my Kindle on my computer, and as soon as the Kindle under tension, it caused my computer to run a crash 'blue screen '. I checked to make sure my Windows software is up to date and that was the case, so I tried again to connect to my Kindle, and it's the same thing.

Two of these attempts, the Kindle is 'on' but 'asleep', so I tried to turn off the Kindle completely and then to the computer. Once more, I got the "Blue screen" error and crash.

I'm still able to attach an external hard drive Seagate as a Lexar USB FlashDrive to my computer with no problems. Only the Kindle's envelope the problem.

    My computer is as follows:

    • HP EliteBook p 8460, running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, Service Pack 1
    • Intel® Core® i7 - 2640M (2.80 GHz, 4 MB L3 cache) processor
    • Chipset mobile Intel QM67 Express

    My Kindle is:

    • Kindle keyboard, software version 3.3

Updates to Windows that have been added to my computer from the time wherever I could connect my Kindle with success and time which I started getting the "Blue screen" errors are:

    • Windows Defender Update KB915597 (definition 1.131.548.0) 24/07/2012
    • Fix for Windows (KB2397190) 25/07/2012

I posted this problem on Amazon Kindle Help Forum yesterday, and they suggested I have ask Microsoft about it.

No one here knows anything about this problem and how I should go to try to fix it?

So while that not directly responsible, your Acronis drivers (snapman.sys) are mentioned in the stack of each BSOD event trace - and third party drivers only 3 are mentioned.

Therefore, please uninstall the software Acronis of your system and see if that stops the BSOD.

Bluetooth mouse drivers are from 2009, please update.

Infineon Personal Secure Drive driver dating 2009 also, please update.

As a point to the FAT file system - memory images I would say running CHKDSK /r /f from a prompt (run as administrator) on your F: drive (the drive HP tools is FAT32) and your Kindle (I'm not sure of the file system used by the Kindle - but it does not seem to be involved in accidents)

Everything you download from the Toshiba site.

In addition it is not easy to say something, if you post any information on the Windows version
