Blue screen issue caused by: Ntfs.sys (Ntfs + 213 8)
Hello!
Only, I lived my first BSOD on a brand new (one day) PC that I assembled. The PC Assembly consists of:
M/B: Gigabyte 880GA-UD3H
Processor: AMD Athlon II X 2 250 (with integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250)
HARD drive: Seagate ST3750528AS (750 GB) SATA drive
OS: Genuine Windows 7 pro 64-bit EN DSP
Please note that I have not installed an Antivirus program again. The installation procedure went well, the only thing that I noticed that after pressing a little hard on the motherboard saying turbo part 3D started moving a little liiiitle instead of being completely still. (I don't know if this has to do with anything here, I don't even know what this turbo 3D part, if someone could explain to me...)
I open the DMP file that says that the BSOD probably caused by: Ntfs.sys (Ntfs + 213 8).
Could you please tell about the cause of the problem and the solution?
I desperately need your help since it is on a PC that I need for work.
Thank you very much in advance for any help!
Philippe

Do you get this crash?

Cause
A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.
This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.
If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:
- The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
- The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
- The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

Blue screen BSOD caused by mrxsmb.sys or ntoskml.exe or l1c62x64.sys?
Hello
I frequently have some BSOD and after analysis with Whocrashed, there were 15 BSOD. See belong
But I can't find where the problem:
Mrxsmb.sys: I noticed that there are a lot of this file on my computer in C:\Windows\system32\drivers (27/04/2011 04:40 - 154Ko) as well as in several starting directory by C:\windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft* different date & time, but the same size. There is also a variant of like mrxsmb10.sys and mrxsmb20.sys file.
I read that this may be due to a malware. What do you think about this?
l1c2x64.sys: I've already checked the driver and the driver is already uptodate on the website of the manufacturer of the computer.
Ntoskrnl.exe: this is a file of the kernel and I prefer not to change anything...

blue screen on pavilion dv7 - igdpmd64.sys
I keep getting blue screens complain of igdpmd64.sys x 00000050. That day, I noticed that I suddenly started getting blue screens Windows installed a bunch of windows 7 x 64 update. Does anyone know if the recent windows updates can cause this?
Sometimes I can't even restart normally when it occurs. I had to restore a previous version.
We had the same problem with our HP DV7 laptop.
You must uninstall the KB2670838 of update of Windows that causes this problem.
The problem goes away.
I found solution RL in the HP Forum and forum of Microsoft.
Apparently this problem appears also on laptops DV6T and perhaps other models.

Satellite 2410-404: blue screen STOP: 0x0000008E TVALD. SYS
Hello
last night I tried the WinXP "verifier.exe" tool to check unverified in WinXP drivers.
My system worked very well until this try. After the first reboot, the system load until the home screen where I choose my account (Administrator rights) to load my profile. After the boot process slows down upwards, only windows processes are shown in the lower right bar (icon of sound system, network) and after a while, there is a blue screen with the following information:STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XF89A742C, 0XF3DFDB50, 0X00000000)
TVALD. SYS - address F89A742C base at F89A7000, DateStamp 3b7caa6cand the system stops.
Please help how to deal with this error, the tvald.sys is a Toshiba system file in the system32 directory.
I have the Toshiba recovery cd, but I have half a month of accounting files that is not registered so I need urgently a fix where I do not format the hard drive. Thanks for any help
AlexYou are right;
The TVALD. SYS seems to be a Toshiba ACPI-Based value added logical device driver that is required to run the stable notebook.
It looks like these files has been has not signed with a certificate from a trusted windows source and therefore the tool of Windows XP "verifier.exe" locked or deleted. (I put t know exactly what verifier.exe)I put t know if you were able to solve this problem without using the Toshiba Recovery CD :(
The TVALD. SYS seems to be stored in
windows\ system32\ drivers\ tvald.sys c:\and in the registry here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SYSTEM-CurrentControlSet-Services-TVALDHowever, in my opinion the verifier.exe tool should be removed and the settings must be reset!
In this case, you can use the XP System Restore tool!
That's all I can suggest -
Blue screen issue started after the warranty more
Hi I bought a HP laptop and exactly after the warranty period, there is a problem.
And provided HP customer support a lot of drivers to install but not working.
Seems that if we extended the guarantee we will get the right driver to install.
My previous laptop was HP, so I got another. and now, I shall not repeat this error.
Any soln for blue screen.
Kind regards...
Depends on the blue screen.
You are able to write code for the blue screen error?
BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) tend to be caused by software problems, so there may be an easy solution to the problem. However, they can also be caused by serious hardware problems that may be more difficult to correct. In all cases, we will need the code error to determine what went wrong.

I understand. The files are newspapers of accidents and have nothing to do with your operation systems. You can do what suggests the wiki for when access is denied without too much worry about a problem
Try this
If you get "access denied" try this methodFirst, create a folder on the desktop and call MinidumpOpen the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and do the following:Home > select all > Home > copy to > choose location > Minidumps > copyThen right click on the Minidump file > Send to > compressed (zipped) folder.
Then download the compressed (zipped) folder newly created on Onedrive and provide a link here.

Original title: , I get the blue screen of death of the SRTSPL64. SYS (Symantec Endpoint) error on normal startup. How can I get rid of Symantec because Windows install does not work in safe mode?
System: Windows Vista 64-bit
Computer: Gateway NV52
When I start my computer, it stops with the blue screen of death because of the SRTSPL64. SYS error. I understand that this error comes from Symantec Endpoint that I am running on my computer. Symantec is provided by the University I attend because users must have a valid antivirus program up-to-date and to access their wireless system. I want to delete Symantec, but I can't get my calculation to start so I can access the menu to uninstall programs. I can't uninstall in 'Safe' mode because the Windows Installer is not active. HOW TO MAKE MY COMPUTER SYMANTEC?
In addition, I can't a good restore of system restore point so that the option is not available.
Hello
I would recommend that you put your computer in a clean boot in SafeMode State, then try to uninstall Symantec Endpoint and check if that helps.
Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

Hello
Can you zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and make them available (link) via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?
The following link has information about the use of Windows Live SkyDrive:

Blue screen error caused by display driver igfx
Origin: the title display driver igfx
My Toshiba Satellite L305-S5907 started suddenly to do all kinds of crazy stuff, the screen was all distorted and it flickered and then it would break. Then I had received a message indicating that the screen was confronted with a display driver igfx problem and had been recovered. This has happened about 5 times and I was trying to see if I could get some info on the help and support page, and then the screen went black. Now my laptop won't open at all. I pressed the button 0 and holding it down and then through this recovery process and it will get so far and then a blue screen error appears and says that he is arrested for not to damage my laptop. It is as far as I can get and it won't let me on my computer to get to the control panel or to download updates. How can I return to my laptop to download the updates?
Hi Tempol,
Since then, you receive a bluescree and unable to boot in normal mode, you can try to boot from the Windows Vista full version installation disc and perform a startup repair.
If restarting fails, then try a startup to restore the system from the installation disc.
For more information, you can consult the following articles:
