1. update all 3 of these pilots to Alienware and to sites the makers' real device.
Check with the support of Nvidia and other OEMs for known problems. If no
more recent, it may be necessary to go back to the old stable versions.

2. Remove ALL power, and then reinstall the memory.

3 try adding a fan blowing under the laptop to see what helps.

4. If none of those is possibly a re-installation of Windows can help.

5. check with Alienware support or a real computer store (that makes its own service in the workshop).

  • Windows 7 blue screen memory dump

My computer laptop windows 7 has just started gives me an error dump BSOD and memory.  It happened 2 x 5/29 & 6/5.  Only thing I can think of that has been done is installed Photo shop Elements 9 29/5.  Both times I got the blue screen I was using IE.  It appears if fast and not a memory dump, and then restarts, so I don't have the error code?  Is someone can you please help me solve this new problem.  I tried to read some of the previous ones, but did not quite understand exactly what I have to do to get someone to look at my logs to solve this problem.

The minidump files showed a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) stop error caused by the KmxAMRT.sys:

    BUCKET_ID: X64_0xD1_KmxAMRT+ 10748

The KmxAMRT.sys, which is dated October 27, 2011, is a driver of CA Antivirus.

What I would say is to uninstall Antivirus CA and see if the blue screen errors to fix.

After have REINSTALL CA anti-virus using the most recent version or go with other security such as Microsoft Security Essentials software.

    Hello

My laptop that runs Windows 7 Professional has been crashing with a blue screen and restarts itself several times in the recent past. I have some information on two recent falls that occurred during the 6 days (yesterday and today). I think I was the first remote desktopping (last Wednesday) and has been streaming video on the internet with an Antivirus scan running in the background the second time (today). I guess that the accidents were caused due to high loads as I was running some heavy programs both times. I enclose a copy the details of the problem for the two events below.

I would update your drivers of Juniper, theyre 6-7 years. I don't think that they are windows files

NETwNs64.sys your Intel wireless drivers are in 6 years. I'd like to update

Intel® Management Engine Interface is also 6 years

Your Intel video drivers are also old - 3 years

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • Blue screen on startup without windows error message 8

    Hello

My computer toshiba satellite, only 2 months, shows a blue screen with no error message when starting upwards. Windows 8. I searched google for an answer and everything that I can find is: 1) remove the battery. 2) press F8. (3) remove the battery, connect the power cable, press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. None of these fixes worked. After holding the power button for 15 seconds the word Toshiba appears, as it tries to start, but only stays on for about 2 seconds then goes to blue screen again.
Very frustrated with windows 8! Have had problems with him from the first day! Help, please!

    Hello

To help you, we will need files DMP to analyze what exactly happened at the time of the accident, etc.

If you don't know where the DMP files, here's how to get to them:

    1. go to the folder % systemroot%\Minidump.
2 copy all the DMP files in the Minidump folder on your desktop and zip then those files.
3 download the zip containing the files DMP to Skydrive or a Web hosting of your choice and paste in your answer.

If you plan to use Skydrive, but do not know how to download it, please see the following:

    http://www.WikiHow.com/use-SkyDrive

Please note that all programs "cleaner" such as TuneUp Utilities, CCleaner, etc., default will remove DMP files after use.

If your computer doesn't generate DMP files, follow these steps:

    1. start > type systemroot which should show the Windows folder, click it. Once inside this folder, make sure there is a Minidump folder created. If not, CTRL-SHIFT-N to create a new folder and name it Minidump.

    2. Windows key + key Pause. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > performance > settings > advanced > make sure there is a check mark for "manage automatically the size of pagefile for all readers."

    3. Windows key + key Pause. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > startup and Recovery > settings > system > ensure there is a check mark next to "write an event to the system log.

Make sure Small Memory Dump is selected and ensure that the path is % systemroot%\Minidump.

    4. check that the viewers is ENABLED:

Start > Search > type services.msc > on the name tab, search for Windows Error Reporting Service > if the service status is not started, then right-click and select start. Also to ensure that, under Startup Type set to automatic rather than manual. You can do this by right click, select properties and under general selection on 'Automatic' startup type and then click on apply.

If you can not get into normal mode to do this, please do so via Safe Mode.

    Kind regards

    Patrick

    Control 0xD1 bug: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bug control has a value of 0x000000D1. This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory with a high IRQL.

Important info if you received a STOP Code

If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows is shipped with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer. If you purchased Windows separately from your computer, Microsoft provides support. To find contact information for Microsoft or the manufacturer of your computer, Contact Support.

If you have experience with computers and try to recover from this error, follow the steps in the Microsoft article solution STOP (blue screen) errors in Windows.

These actions could prevent a mistake like this does not happen:

    1. Download and install updates for your computer from Windows Update device drivers.
    2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.
    3. Check your hard drive for errors.

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL parameters

The following settings are displayed on the blue screen.

    Cause

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:

    • The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).

    • The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.

    • The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

    Resolution

To begin debugging, use a kernel debugger to get a stack trace.

If the problem is caused by the driver that you develop, make sure that the function that was running at the time bug is not marked as pageable or does not call for all other inline functions that could be paged out.

Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Blue screen during installation of Windows XP on HP touchsmart 7320

    I have a HP touchsmart 7320 with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit pre-installed.

I have to install Windows XP (32 bit) next to Windows 7, so that I can run a costly professional application which meets the incompatibility issues with Windows 7.

Compatibility mode makes no difference. Virtual PC and XP mode are broken during the installation of the application. So its a way for me to have a dual-boot with Windows 7 ande Windows XP machine.

When I am installing Windows XP (all versions-family, professional, 32 or 64-bit with original CD always) gives a blue screen with strange characters and the following STOP message:

    | STOP 0X0000007E
    (0xc0000005, 0xf748e0bf, 0xf78da208, 0xf78d9f08)

    PCI.sys - address f748e0bf base at f7487000 datestamp 36d855c

I did a new Windows XP installation CD using nLite, "slipstreaming" of Service Pack 2 and AHCI SATA drivers I found here and they are proposed by this guide.

That seems to work for awhile, because the installation process went further. It passes the point where she was already giving the blue screen, but it gives blue screen in a later stage of the installation process and one other STOP message which is now:

    Hello:

I have another solution for you.

First, go to your Windows 7 installation and in Device Manager, click on IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers section.

Please confirm that you have the Intel (r) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller.

If it's not the ACHI SATA controller you have, thanks for posting what you have.

Now, here is another method to install XP.

Go into your BIOS. Go to the menu of storage options. Change your SATA of ACHI to IDE emulation mode. Save the configuration at this time by pressing the F10 key and save your settings again when you leave.

    Now XP must install.

After XP is installed, please share back and I'll give you the instructions step by step to load the post SATA ACHI driver XP installation, so you can change your return to ACHI BIOS setting, so that you can dual boot your machine.

Currently, only XP will start with the value IDE BIOS. With the ACHI BIOS value, only W7 will start. That's why we need to load the drivers for XP achi sata once you have it installed.

I think that we can find all the XP drivers, you need to as well.

  • Satellite C660 shows blue screen (memory management)

I have a C660-24f, which is around the age of 12 months, and I had the problem with it since I got it.

There suddenly restart with blue screen (memory management).

Why wait so long? You may contact Toshiba service whenever you want and ask for help, or at least for the good advice.

Have you tried to do something about it?
Clean installation of recovery maybe? Have you noticed this error when the laptop works with the factory settings?

  • Blue screen with STOP error 0x0000007B (0xBA4CF524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I have my Acer 5920 laptop, 2 GB of RAM and 160 hard drive, last stop system time correctly with all the files to day, but when I restart then comes windows XP Jean-Christophe and then a blue screen with the error. Nor I have install new software or remove something in the laptop. My system was perfect, and that was before the last stop.
I have Windows XP SP2-teacher-pack. I have the original CD of this package.
But when I use the CD then nothing is happen and come same messgae of error. I do not have any other CD bootable for windowXP except your originalCD.
Please suggest me what I should do to fix my probem. I'm not to much expert for the formatting and other things computer.

    After reading your following suggession:
Here are a few things to try:
The first thing to do is to boot your system and start pressing F8 as soon as it starts booting.  You will get the Windows startup options screen.  Select "Disable automatic restart in the event of system failure" and let it restart.  When it starts, it can now stop with an error screen and give an error message and code.

Disconnect all external devices (printers, USB Hub, drives external, etc.) and try to start.

I got the result of the error that comes on a blue screen after you follow your process-blue screen with STOP error 0x0000007B (0xBA4CF524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Just one quick response for others...

Go to your bios to change the mode of training of your s - ata AHCI or IDE Compatible mode or all that apply :) Windows XP is not like SATA, because it has no native support for it. At the start of the second phase of a Setup program, it would fail with this BSOD.

Sometimes, your BIOS will provide its default settings after a system crash or a configuration. Should not happen, but it is...

  • Blue screen with the error "irql_not_less_or_equal"

I have a problem I can not correct and hoped someone could help me fix.

I got a blue screen while I was working on my laptop. I restarted windows and once connected, the office appeared and everything seemed ok, but before I could do anything that I got another blue screen with the error "irql_not_less_or_equal" So now, I have only access in safe mode.

I tried to restore the system to a previous point, but the same error occurred during windows startup.

Then I made a backup of my files and tried to use the disk to reboot, but again, I got a blue screen (I don't remember the excact error) after the first loading bar, so noting changed.

Then I looked at the log files and found that, just before the first crash, an adobe update has been installed. I removed adobe list startup failed, completely remove the adobe doesn't either.

Also, in safe mode I don't have an internet connection (without wire or cable). Blue screen errors is not always the same, esspesially codes "stop".

My knowledge of windows is very bad, so I just tried things people recommended on internet. If someone could help me would be great. I deleted all my important files from my laptop so I don't mind lossing just as long as windows functiones correctly again.

    Thank you

    King
