This is an example for you to understand the process. The essential 'Address', what is more important than 'address crash' and ' address 1-3' of the battery. I delete the corrupt of this show. So I wonder is that files that are displayed as blue screen of death appear as new files or has been corrupted (not new, but the changes) so that files is important, it is not good to remove it but just fix it? In this case, it is program file, so that files can be removed, but for above I'll list five blue screen of death (at the top of this page and recently), is files computer, more important than the program files. So I can delete files, but it would affect the entire computer? Or fix it? Another thing that is feature computer sank black and can't restart for some time. Thus, the program can cause corrupted files or delete files that is corrupt to become new and separate, which means that it can be? Are there two types of files? SE do not become like nine files can you repair files, but changes or files that become like new but bad files, it can therefore be removed. Thus, since the site Web who say it is the right program or files, but it is good to scan files that can cause of spyware, malware, virus or a program? So, do you know what could be cause of the last blue screen of death to connect to black on computer screen. It's as if I hard harddirve, but this isn't like that. This is exactly the same process of result with old hard drive causing the computer screen black, but this case is different departure process. If you tell me to use the cd, to solve the problem, tell me what cd and if it is a restore cd that say recovery on the cd for xp or more. It is large and clear a word that mean the recovery? If this is the case, I don't have it. Well, don't have no possible, but in case I did not.

Hello Khalif Foster,

It may be a problem with the Table of master files on the hard drive that does not, however, another option is to use the tool in the mentionted Knowledge Base article.

Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Windows drivers for users advanced

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/244617

To verify exactly which driver may be the cause of this problem. (if you don't believe the issue is the hard drive).

Hope this information helps.

    • Video card: Radeon HD 6470 M and Intel HD Graphics 30000

    Question:

    As you can see the attached picture explains my problem.

    Additional information:

    • How it started: one evening I booted up it (at startup video card: Radeon HD 6470 M) > I did not open any file or run programs, given that I have heat at the start at least 2-3 minutes > frozen screen > restarted on its own > BSOD (attached above Image) will not go away.
    • This BSOD once and has never been resolved since it occurred.
    • I like to play games on this laptop that includes; League of Legends LoL aka, installed other than LoL I also have the call of Duty series (from "World at War" until the last present "ghosts"), Red Alert 3, Red Alert 3 Uprising and HAWKX of Tom Clancy.
    • I usually play LoL at least a total of 2-5 h. / day.
    • My laptop is properly vented / cooled. (I have my laptop PT placed on 4 cylinders, leaving her underwear and its sides free of any obstructions. It is placed in front of an electric FAN. I also use the air conditioning if I do not use the electric fan)
    • Max temperature reaches at least 75-80 degrees Celsius during the game (Normal using search, but I still do not know if its Normal)
    • Idle temperature is somewhere between 55-65 degrees Celsius.
    • Radeon HD 6470 M Graphics Card is currently disabled in the Device Manager.
    • I live in a Tropical climate, Southeast Asia (help?).
    • I have switchable graphics cards, I currently use the integrated video card (Intel HD 3000 graphics card) by disabling the Radeon 6470 m from the device via the Boot Manager on Safe MODE.

    I have...

    • Uninstalled the graphics card (Radeon 6470 m) via (Safe Mode) Device Manager, rebooted the laptop as to allow it to reinstall the video card. (> Screen blacked out > BSOD---> >()has NO WORK)
    • Cleared out and my registry using CCleaner --->>> ()has NO WORK)
    • Uninstalled the graphics card (Radeon 6470 m) through the device (Safe Mode), passed to Intel Graphics Manager, downloaded the latest drivers Radeon 6470 M by downloading the latest Catalyst drivers from AMD Web site > after completing the download and installation > laptop black screen still works because I can still hear the fan running, the capslock, touchpad, mute and wifi light switch is still sensitive. > had to force stop via a long press on the power button / > restarted > BSOD --->>>()has NO WORK)
    • Removed my battery, kept the the cell phone charger plugged in, , while in safe mode, I have disabled the Intel HD 3000 graphics card then will revive Radeon 6470 m > restart > enter screen flashed a second then blocked with a black screen (touchpad, capslock lights mute switch rocker react) > had to force reboot > BSOD. --->>> ()Did NOT WORK)

    Finally...

    • In reading many forums about this issue, I hope that it is a software and not a hardware problem cause someone says this "the answer is you start Windows in safe mode, which will kill the drivers from the mixture. If you STILL get the BSOD in safe mode, then you more than likely a hardware problem. »

    (Sorry for the CAPS, I think this is very important)  My CMOS BATTERY IS DETACHED, I DON'T KNOW WHEN OR HOW it HAPPENED AND NO PROBLEM whatsoever has OCCURRED, IT IS CURRENTLY LOOSELY ONCE MORE AND I STILL DON'T KNOW not WHEN OR HOW IT is THEN THAT EVERYTHING IS IN ORDER THE SETTINGS DATE/TIME RESET OCCURRED ONCE WHEN I PUT THE BATTERY IN ITS HOUSING ORIGINAL , BUT like WHAT I SAID EARLIER HE SECONDED in some SORT AND IS STILL DETACHED BUT MY SETTING DATE/TIME IS NOT reset AT ALL (I did research that has detached/removed/off power CMOS battery would keep those type of setting to reset every time you start upward)

    • I have not yet tried to reinstall Windows 7 since it is my last resort
    • Any form of advice or suggestions are welcome
    • Ask me anything about the problem
    • Correct me if I did any kind of error
    • I'm sorry for any incorrect grammar for English is not my native language

    I'll be waiting for your answers and please READ message from all. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME! : D

    Hi all

    I bought a new USB wireless internet and after installing it, it automatically connects to our network, but fails to connect to the internet. (Local access only)
    A roommate told me that it was something to do with my IPv4 settings. However, after trying to change these settings several times, it always freezes when I push the "close" - button. It is followed by a Blue Screen of Death with the following codes:

  • Blue screen of death: stop error: 0X000000CE

    Hi, I think I got a bad virus on my computer that's all waste.  First of all, it all started when I clicked on a link, while the Christmas on Black Friday shopping. Then I got a download of unwanted software, called system difficulty, (the small icon of Windows) I could not use system restore to remove, whenever I tried to use it, it says cannot restore on this point. Tried several other points, but no joy. Can I get the dreaded blue screen of death with a stop error: 0x0000008e (0xc0000005, 0x804f8e80, 0xef76aa98, 0x00000000). Could sail in safe mode and tried to fix it with antivirus software, found 26, abducted, ran spybot search and destroy, found nothing. Still no joy. So today, I tried to start in safe mode, and it does not work in safe mode, guard reboot again and again. Then I hit F8 and turned restart turned off so I could see the Blue error screen that would flash for just a second, and now I have this stop error message: 0x000000ce (0xf88be6dc, 0 x 00000000, 0 x 00000000, 0xf88be6dc). I read forums on video and all drivers, but this happened just after I clicked on this link and got the virus with this unwanted software download. Anyone got any suggestions on how to solve this problem? Oh and I downloaded a program called error repair of my other computer and installed but it only scan my computer to find errors and then he wants to buy you the pack premium, so that did not help. It's my computer business running windows xp pro service pack 3. Wish it would have been on this cause she has the system recovery and it worked whenever I had a virus, I couldn't get rid of that. Thank you, Steve

    JoseIbarra is the expert resident on the Recovery Console and chkdsk/r. I'll track down his instructions. If the malware is responsible for the BSOD, I do not think that chkdsk /r will help, but it won't hurt. Or you might need to repair your boot.ini file.

    DEFINITELY get this brand XP reinstallation CD Dell! You can use it to perform a clean installation of XP or a repair installation of XP (chances are, you won't ever need to perform a repair installation, but it is nice to have this option) or to enter the Recovery Console to perform functions such as chkdsk/r.
    Chances are that your data does not fit on one CD! Depending on what you have, you might need to up to 100 CDs or more! Better to buy an external hard drive. Newegg.com has a very good selection of the most affordable. Here is an example:
    Creating a Ubuntu CD bootable 'live' (and then startup out of it, rather than on your hard drive) will allow you to copy your data to the external hard drive:
    There are also some other CD bootable antivirus (like Avira) which may help you:

  • Qosmio F20 blue screen of death after stop

    Hello

    I get the blue screen of death after a stop on my laptop Qosmio F20.

    The error is IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

    I guess that's somehow connected to the tv tuner card.

    I tried to restore the system - not good. After the restoration for some time, it was OK. But then again appeared BSOD.

    Sometimes, it also appears when I connect USB hard drives or even when I insert the DVD disc.
    And for shure every time I stop to laptop.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Hello

    This is my personal opinion;
    I think it's a memory problem!

    Why, because it of very difficult to reproduce this error message and it looks like this BSOD happens without the use of hardware or special software

    I have gogoled for this error message and I had a lot of success!
    I read in various forums on this issue, and especially a fault memory has been one reason why the BSOD appeared.

    But someone suggested to disabled the pagefile... Probably, you should check out these tips:

    Hello

    This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
    may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
    can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
    methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

    Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
    Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

    When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
    update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E

    Cause

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

    For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in the directory Inc. of the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

    If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

    If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

    If exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system was launched with the /nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly, make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with the Switch/DEBUG .

    In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

    If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that any new hardware that is installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

    If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

    If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the service by starting the computer by using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.

    Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x7E.

    You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

    The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved .chk , which contain fragments of files on disk scans. You can also use an another hard disk drive with more free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

  • Blue screen of death (stop 0x0000007B) after April Windows Update on XP Home.

    My machine (Dell Dimension 3100 with XP Home) home is set for automatic recovery of Windows updates. I reload often, but when I was forced to start again last week, I got the blue screen of death. Apart from the general BSOD error message, I got the stop code:

    STOP 0x0000007B...

    I forgot the subsequent stop codes, but search recall I was doing on them indicated drivers disk or storage-related problem.

    I ran all sorts of Dell diagnostics on my hardware, get absolutely no problem. Scan of a viral infection was also negative. A colleague help out me suggested removing the updates of Windows of April, he did help and usefulness of the ERD. XP loaded and started after that, if I had to go through a process of slooow restart for most updates. My office also now charge many times slower - I suspect drivers and services can't find what they expect to find and take considerable time to make mistakes.

    My Dell has a range of Intel (RAID-1) matrix installed. I strongly suspect that this pilot was in trouble after the April update Windows Update.

    So, what should I do to prevent this from happening again? I don't know the specific fix involved. I have disabled the automatic updates for now.

    TIA

    Rick

    Complete sweep of Kaspersky AV, booted from the CD, turned up negative, so I doubt that it is an infection.

    I'm sorry, but this does not exclude the possibility of infection. See step # 3 in my previous response, or contact Ms. PCSafety for assistance.

    Or see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559218 (VS.85) .aspx and/or http://aumha.org/a/stop.php#0x7b for more troubleshooting ideas.

    Or if you let Windows Update to install an update for the driver (never a good idea), try a roll-back of pilot.

  • Whenever I start my computer, I get the blue screen of death. I'm not getting in what concerns the opening of session and there is no prompt to start in safe mode. Whenever I start my computer the error code and message on blue screen are different.

    I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I was on the internet when my computer screen turned blue and a message told me that a problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down. He said that I had tried to do something with memory executable not executable (I don't have a note of the code). He said as he poured out memory. Now, whenever I start, the blue screen of death gives me different messages and different error codes. Today, he says:

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    and codes of error STOP: 0x0000000A (0x0000001B, 0 x 00000600, 0x810A90B0, 0x00000001).

    PC World say that they need to reinstall Windows, but I have some really really important files on there that I have not supported (I know, really stupid on my part) and they said they cannot guarantee their recovery. Is there another way to fix it?

    I've been on the forums and suggestions involve me to be able to connect to my computer. Blue screen hits me before I can log on, and there is no prompt to start in safe mode.

    Thank you very much!

    Try this to save your data:

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    See you soon.
    The BSOD I get says:
    A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
    If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: disable or uninstall all utility defragmentation or anti-virus disk backup,. Check the configuration of your hard drive and check the updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /f to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.     Hi TheCookeNinja,
    I suggest you run the check disk (chkdsk) of the Recovery Console & check if you are able to boot to the desktop correctly.
    Step 1: To start the Recovery Console, you can follow this link.
    To start the computer and use the Recovery Console
    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_overview.mspx?mfr=true
    Step 2: At the Recovery Console prompt, type the following command and then press ENTER:
    CHKDSK [/ p]: [/ r]
    Note: At first, try to run chkdsk/p & check if it helps. Later, you can run chkdsk/r.
