Blue screen on HP on HP all-in - One PC Vision

Hello. For the last week or so my PC all-in-One was bat with a blue screen every time that comes out of hibernation. It seems not serious if it went into hibernate on its own, or through start-> sleep action. The blue screen usually indicates a page KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR error.

I restored my system to attempt to repair. He did, for a while, but today it started again.

A few web searches made me suspect that it is a manifestation of problems with the fix for Microsoft KB2670838. Other users have reported blue screens after installing (usually as a sine qua non for IE 10), although I have not seem to reports of what happens after a sleep, as it is for me.

Others hit this kind of problem? Suggestions on solving?

I intend to uninstall this hotfix, see if it helps. I'll report.

The number of my all-in-one PC product is

HP Vision 120-1026

(Sorry, I wanted to include it).

I ran the diagnostics twice, but no problems were found with the S.M.A.R.T. tests or anything else; all the past. In addition, the hard drive is not that big by today's standards, just 685GB (not 1 TB or more as suggested the fix).

I have some good news, however. During the uninstall of the KB2670838 bug fix only made no apparent difference, I managed to solve the problem by using the system restore to restore my system to the first point of restoration, this day here. Thus, it seems that it is triggered by a Microsoft Update, but not pain causes one on other systems.

I configured my system for manual updates now and will see if I can identify the culprit was updated.

Then, I changed Setup to boot from the hard disk - but again received the blue screen.  Once back to the prompt, I tried running chkdsk/f and has received no indication of errors.  I tried chkdsk/f/r and can not access the recovery screen (it says it's an invalid order).  I tried to put it in C: > R and f: > R (F is my cd drive).

Help!  How can I get rid of this screen?

You damaged the Windows installation. If you have not saved the data on that hard drive, you may be able to get it back by using Linux Livecd such as Knoppix and copying data to an external hard drive. General information about the use of Knoppix for this are:

You will need a computer with two cd drives, which is a dvd/cd-rw OR a usb thumb drive with enough capacity to store your data, OR a usb/firewire external drive to FAT32 (not NTFS) *. To get the Knoppix, you need a computer with a fast Internet connection and software third engraving. Download Knoppix .iso image file and create your bootable cd. Then start with her and she will be able to see the files in Windows. If you use the USB key or an external hard disk, right-click on its icon (on the desktop) to get its properties and uncheck "read only". Then click on it to open it. Note that the mouse action by default in the window manager used by Knoppix (KDE) is a simple click to open instead of double-click traditional MS Windows. If you want to burn CD/DVDs, use the K3b program.

    * My understanding is that you can now write on NTFS from Linux partition. If you wish to do this, Google for instructions.

  • Blue screen hardware malfunction

I have a laptop Dell XPS M1710 running Vista Ultimate.  30 months, was working fine until about 3 weeks ago when I got a blue screen in the middle of a session with the following message:
    "hardware malfunctin".
    "Your system is shut down.
"Call your seller of support material.
Called Dell for warranty support, they ran diagnostics equipment, no problem.  Suggested that I have updated bios, drivers, Vista, etc.  Update to all, no help.  Blue screen now a regular occurrence.
Second call to Dell.  Diagnosis more, once again no obvious material problem.  Their only solution was to erase hard drive and reset to factory settings, and if it does not have to send the computer for them.
Search Internet presents very common blue screen problems.  But could not find one exactly like mine.  A common suggestion was a registry cleaner.  No help.
Error file has "prior to system shutdown was unexpected", as the most common message.  No coherent software error.
Shows Device Manager everything works except for Microsoft 6to4 adapters, both #4 and #6
Blue screen is very predictable at this time.  When I get a blue screen, I hold the power button until the system powers.  Then I push the button to restart, go to the screen that says windows is not stopped correctly and I want to start in safe mode or normal mode?  I chose normal, the system starts and runs without any problem.  That is until she goes to sleep or I stopped him.  When I wake him up or run it, in a few minutes, I get the blue screen.  Every time.  Reboot in normal mode, and I'm very well until the system goes to sleep or I stopped him.

    Help!

    Thank you

    Greg

Code 31 means that a driver could not install.

Go into the Device Manager and for those who the RIGHT CLIC - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - that will refresh the
    driver stack.

You manually update your drivers will actually sites of the manufacturer of the device to the system manufacturer?

Drivers update operation in the Device Manager are only the same old who performs updates.

    Hello

Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description, it seems that you are having problems with BSOD error messages while browsing the YouTube site with the FireFox browser. I will certainly help you fix this problem.

Since the system file posted, looks like you are having problems with the Intel AHCI drivers on your computer.

    (1) was there any update of hardware controller or drivers of storage recently controller?

    (2) have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

Method 1: If so, I suggest you to make back the drivers to the previous version and check if it helps.

Method 2: If this isn't the case, I suggest you to install drivers AHCI update from the Intel Web site or the manufacturer's Web site and check.

I hope it helps. If you have any questions about Windows in the future, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.

  • HP psc 2355 all-in-one: PSC 2355 all-in-one scan, but not print

The printer was purchased at a garage sale may be a few years back. It scans perfectly fine, but it will not be printed. I tried searching the Web for drivers and uninstalling/reinstalling it, even the installation under another pilot as series 2300. The closest driver that appears is 2350 series. Windows Update crashes when I try to get to find the drivers more.

Print a test page once, he hasn't done anything since then except to give me errors on the printer LCD. I have only a black cartridge in it because I don't need color, but I doubt that's the issue.

From the looks of things, this is a common problem... I saw a post where someone has too, but nothing has worked.

I am running a computer portable 64-bit windows 7, home premium and USB connection.

    Hey @TKStall,

Thanks for getting back to me with the error messages.

The value 0 x error messages you see on the screen of your PSC 2355 all-in-one indicate a hardware failure in your printer ink system. Because the errors seem to be intermittent at the moment it is you may chance using your printer for a little longer. However, there is a hardware failure occurring within the printer and for this reason, there is a chance that your printer may stop working at any time.

Troubleshooting steps for error 0 x can be found here. But, as you can see one troubleshooting step is to perform a power reset on the machine. If the power reset does not clear the error state that a replacement of the entire unit would be necessary.

Try to install your printer using the driver PSC 2350. However, if the error messages continue to appear on your printer, I would recommend reaching out to the Technical Support queue by phone about the options for replacement of material. Due to the age of your printer, you may have the option to update your PSC device for a newer model at a reduced price.

HP Technical Support can be reached at the: 800-474-6836.

  • Satellite A300-1 OC - blue screen on all OS

    Hello!

I have a problem in my laptop Toshiba Satellite A300-1 OC.
When the computer is often an error blue screen 8.

All the drivers are installed, the latest version of the BIOS. After trying all the operating systems. XP, Vista, Seven. The error could not. I read on the forums that it could be faulty RAM. Help please, what I would do in this situation. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Rosicky,

I put t know why you get this BSOD but 8th is not the error code. Maybe you should check this yet what is displayed exactly when you get this.

If you think that your laptop is overheating you can clean using compressed air stream. This could blow the dust of fans cooling and, therefore, it of necessary to disassemble the laptop. You can get it from every computer store I think.

Finally, and especially if you assume it s the RAM you can use Memtest86. This tool can test the RAM for bad sectors.
    Check it!

After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?

    Hi KevinRy,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    Unplug all external devices.

Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:

    1.

Right-click my computerand then click Properties.

    2.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    3.

Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.

    4.

Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.

    5.

Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.

Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.

Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.

    Kind regards

    sweppes,
It was just a possibility that heat is a problem.  Also in your games if you operate in high res\max video settings you can turn them down to smaller settings and test.

You also mentioned that the motherboard has not yet all drivers for Windows 7.  Maybe it's that you will have this kind of problem until you get correct chipset drivers.
