Blue screen on stop ntoskrnl.exe DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
My computer blue screened twice now having been to "Shutting down" screen for a few minutes.
I downloaded the 2 .dmp files that I found using BlueScreenView onedrive here:
http://1drv.Ms/1ElvK85
Can someone tell me what is the cause, or how I might solve this problem?
These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by a driver).
Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem. Launch auditor. You need not run memtest again unless you want to.

Here are a few things to try:
The first thing to do is to boot your system and start pressing F8 as soon as it starts booting. You will get the Windows startup options screen. Select "Disable automatic restart in the event of system failure" and let it restart. When it starts, it can now stop with an error screen and give an error message and code.Disconnect all external devices (printers, USB Hub, drives external, etc.) and try to start.

Go to your bios to change the mode of training of your s - ata AHCI or IDE Compatible mode or all that apply :) Windows XP is not like SATA, because it has no native support for it. At the start of the second phase of a Setup program, it would fail with this BSOD.

These accidents were caused by the corruption of memory (probably a driver). Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.
If you are overclocking reset all default before running these tests.
In other words STOP!1 - Memtest.
* Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. "http://www.memtest.org/#downiso"] Memtest86 + - Advanced Memory Diagnostic tool
* Boot from the CD and let it run at least 5 or 6 passes.
Remember, anytime Memtest reports errors, it can be bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.
Test the sticks individually and if you find a good, test it in all slots.
Any error is indicative of a memory problem.
If a well-known stick fails in a slot of motherboard, it's probably the slot.

2. Driver Verifier
Using Driver Verifier is a dubious proposition. Most of the time it will crash and it will tell you what is the driver. But sometimes it will crash and will not tell you the driver. Sometimes it will crash until you can connect to Windows. If you can't mode without failure, then you will have to resort to editing the registry offline to disable driver verifier.
I suggest that you first back up your data and make sure you have access to another computer so you can contact us in case of problems. Then do a system restore point (so you can restore the system using the functionality of Vista/Win7 Startup Repair).
In Windows 7, you can do a startup repair disk by clicking Start... All programs... Maintenance... Create a system - with Windows Vista repair disc, you need to use your drive installation or from the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu.
So, here is the procedure:
-Go to start and type "auditor" (without the quotes) and press enter
-Select 'Create a custom settings (for code developers)' and click 'Next '.
-Select "Select individual settings from the list complete" and click "Next".
-Select the entire document except for "Low resource Simulation" and click "next".
-Select "Select driver names from a list", then click "next".
Select all drivers that are NOT provided by Microsoft, and then click "Next".
-On the next page, select "Finish".Restart the system and wait as he crashed to blue screen. Continue to use your system normally and if you know what are the causes of the crash, do it several times. The objective here is to get the system crash because Driver Verifier is stressing out the drivers. If it is not planted for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).
If you are unable to Windows because it crashes too early, try safe mode.
If you can't mode without fail, try to use the system from the installation DVD restore to bring the system back to the previous point of restoration that you created.

Hello
Step 1: Check if you are able to boot in safe mode. If you are able to boot into safe mode, and then try to perform the clean boot to safe mode and check.
From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
1. click on start and then click Run.
2. type msconfig and click OK.The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.
3. click on the tab general, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
4. When prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.Step 2: Run the check disk hard disk command. (You will be able to try this step if you are able to start in safe mode or in normal mode with success)

Hello
Repair and reinstall the information:
Try a startup repair and / or a system restore using a Microsoft Vista DVD (to borrow a)
Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.
Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.
If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/repair-Windows-with-Windows-Startup-Repair/
Table of contents
- Overview of Windows Vista repair options
- How to perform an automatic repair of Windows Vista using Startup Repair
- Advanced Tools Overview
- Conclusion
If you do not or can not borrow a Microsoft DVD there is a download of a file ISO of Vista Startup Repair available that you can put on a Bootable floppy to make the above startup repair and that the method is recommended by a large number of posters in these Forums.
Unfortunately, you have to buy it.
Here is a link to it:

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks to reinstall.
Most manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

HP Pavilion Elite PC m9150f
Windows 7
When I try to start my computer, I get a "Windows Error Recovery" screen and two choices of "Launch Startup Repair (recommended)" and "Start Windows normally". No matter that the one I chose, I get a blue screen with "* STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x0001000A, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). I can't go any further. Then I turn off the computer.
I restart the computer and choose F9-Diagnotics. When it opens. I see that the test of memory has failed and has an error code of "BIOME-1" and the suggestion of "Please contact HP Support".
Before all that happens, I reinstalled an antivirus program that I have used for several years without any problems.
So here I am.
What should I do now?
I would appreciate your help.
Thank you.

Under XP SP3
As the forums MS Answers does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked, we know absolutely nothing about your system.
Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.
Provide information on your system, the better you can:What is your system brand and model?
What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
What is your Internet browser and version?
Your system's disks IDE or SATA drives?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)
The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?
You have a genuine XP installation CD bootable, which is the same Service as your installed Service Pack (this is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?
Do you see that you think not you should see and when you see it?
What do not you think that you should see?
If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?
Your system seems to start OK and then crash or didn't he start not at all?Can you make the system crash when you want? For example, you would say that there is no specific system activity that coincides with the accidents (like watching videos, playing games, etc.).The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see.
Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters. If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you. We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like. Now provide more information about your system and data against more recent accidents.Click Start, run and enter in the box:Msinfo32Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here. For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here. There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information. This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.Download BlueScreenView here:Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all your crash dump files. If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).BlueScreenView tries to find the right driver or module that caused the blue screen by looking inside the stack of the accident. However, be aware that the driver detection mechanism is not 100% reliable, and you should also look in the lower pane, that display all drivers/modules found in the stack.Sometimes BlueScreenView will involve XP files as being the cause of the accident (ntoskrl.exe, win32k.sys, hal.dll etc.) but they are probably not the real cause of the accident (BSV is doing the best he can). You will need to either pick up some example crashes over and look through them, or find somewhere the XP files are not the 'cause' or you can upload your files to your SkyDrive crash dump and someone with the windows debugging tools can help take a look at them more closely.
Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files. Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt.Open BSOD.txt with a text editor Notepad, WordPad, etc.), select all (Ctrl-A), copy all the text in the Windows Clipboard (Ctrl-C) and paste the text to the Clipboard (Ctrl-V) back here in your next reply.

Hello anurydhkuksal.
I had the chance to look over the landfills.
It seems that the culprit in this one was HFSYS. SYS.
This is part of an older program called Hide Folders.

BCCode: 0a 0x0000000A
Cause
This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.
The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.
If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.
Solve the problem
If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.
To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS
- Restart your computer.
- Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
- In the WindowsAdvanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.
To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool
- Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
- Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
- Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
- Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
- If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
- For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.
If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
Comments
Before upgrading to a new version of Windows, remove all third-party device drivers and system services and disable any antivirus. Contact software manufacturers for updates of these third-party tools.

blue screen error stop 0 x 00000019
When my friend starts windows 7 on his computer after the signature she gets a blue screen and the codes only that I'm able to catch during the dump process are 0 x 00000019 before restarting the computer, this computer is ony around the age of 2 months, anyone know or have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Hello
On a new computer it should certainly contact support from the manufacturer of the system for known issues and
claim of possible guarantee as well as their forums (if any). It's to fix more they
pretend that it is something that the user did as the cause.====================================
If you want to solve the problem.
This is most likely caused by a stray driver, although the antivirus/antispyware/security programs and
memory/hardware are all the real suspects. See my update driver and memory by following test methods
