Blue screen when you log in windows server 2008 r2

When you connect in windows server 2008 r2, all I have is a blue screen and the mouse.

I tried to search for solutions on the internet, then I found a microsoft patch "http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2590550" I have run the fix command line but he gave me nothing, no error or success messages.

I tried to restart but I still have the same problem.

Is there a solution to this problem?

    Hello suncoastsrq,

Usually, when we see problems during shutdown, the cause is something that loads at startup.

To this end, I would recommend mode startup minimum troubleshooting as seen in the following articles:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316434

Please note that after refine us the cause, it is important that we return to a normal startup and manually delete the startup program.

In addition, if we can get downloaded discharge, the community has access to them and will probably be able to determine the cause.

You can download the dump Auggy's previous suggestion?

  • Printer busy or error; When you work on Windows Server

I'm working on a persistant problem with a specific printer where I work. A bit of history: first of all, this printer is used by users on WYSE thin clients connecting to a Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual via a RDP session, however, some users connect using Windows 7 Professional. It is a network printer on our corporate domain installed as a local printer on a print server, as well as a local printer on the RDP server in use by the users of the thin client. Now the printer works perfectly for print test pages, Word Documents, etc. However, the problem arises when my users need to print PDF documents, for which they mainly use Adobe Acrobat 2011, although some also use the latest version of the reader (we update player generally that the new versions are available). When trying to print, the print queue will say coil (page 1/2/3, etc.), and then it will immediately change state of printer busy or error. When this happens, until the job is canceled, no other jobs will process, regardless of the type of document. And to further complicate things, one of the main users of this printer says that's not yet each PDF, some and it doesn't seem to be a constant difference between those who does not print and those who will be. The printer in question is a Xerox Workcentre 7345, and I tried to install the latest drivers, PS versions both PCL6 and attempted to use the driver for the Fiery controller, all giving the same result. I installed the printer as a shared printer on the network on the print server, and I installed it locally on the RDP server. Both lead to the same "occupied or printer error. I also tried bypassing the spooler and print the document as an image, both of the separately and with the two parameters defined. I am at a loss, and my users can use is more reliable for this printer to print PDFS... I would like some suggestions on what to do at this point. Thank you.

  • ESXi 3.5 and when trying to install windows server 2008

I installed ESXi 3.5 on my server and successfully created a first virtual computer on which I am trying to install Windows server 2008 standard. I use VMware Infrastructure Client 2.5 from a Vista machine to access my virtual machine console.

Installation of Windows server is an ISO file located in the root directory of the ESX Server data store. Everything went well with the installation until one last server restart showed a screen stating "the password must be changed before logging on the first time' by clicking on 'OK' present a login for 'Administrator' screen, asking me to enter a password for the 'new' and 'Confirm password '.

Any attempt to enter a new password results (up to 14 characters, mixture letter & number) in a message "unable to update the password, the value provided for the new password does not meet the requirements of length, complexity or the history of the area.

As far as I know, I'm not usig a specific domain, have never been able to access Windows server 2008 to create an admin account. I don't know how to solve this problem. I am new to VMWare and Windows server 2008.

Any suggestion to move forward and allow me to have access to the server via the console?

Thanks in advance for your help, Claude

This isn't really a problem with VMware, but more of a problem of Windows 2008 password complexity requirements.

The account that she is not asking that you must change the password is the local administrator account.

And you have tried in upper case, lower case, numbers and special characters?  Something like Win2008!@#$ maybe?

  • Blue screen when you try to install Windows XP Home Edition on Satellite L350D-11 has

    Hello
When I try to install Windows XP Home (including SP3) on my new L350D-11 has a blue screen after loading the drivers.
When booting with Kubuntu Live CD (8.x) appears an error message: / sbin/modprobe out anomalous.

At least I need Windows XP because of some programs that do not work under Vista. Is it possible to install XP?

    Hello

Hmm I think the BSOD appears because you didn t add SATA drivers in the Win XP operating system.

However, you can try to install Win XP on your laptop without the use of the SATA driver, but you can change the SATA AHCI in the BIOS in compatible mode.

    Check it out!

  • Blue screen when you perform the search for live TV in Windows Media Center on the new Lenovo A700

I just got my new Lenovo IdeaCenter A700 yesterday and have been busy setting up.  The computer is equipped with a built-in TV Tuner and I tried to put in place the TV on it so I could watch TV on my computer.  I have RCN for cable and a cable TV that gets first plugged into the decoder and then I plug the cable to the TV - so I just plugged this cable on my computer instead of the TV.

I used the following Web site to set up using Windows Media Center - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/9166/learning-windows-7-setup-live-tv-in-windows-media-center/.  After that I put in my zip code he sought the power of the signal or something and then I got a blue screen.  To restart the computer the information below has been MS. error message This happened to me twice.

Anyone know how to fix this? Or otherwise, I just want to use my computer to watch TV on, and if I can do this other method other than Windows Media Center free I am happy to do.

Please let me know if you need more information.

This seems to be resolved now... it was maybe an update of windows, like when I rebooted my machine it updated automatically and after that he worked all of a sudden!

Anyway, now it shows a black screen and no sound for all channels, but that is a different problem... and I'll look in to that.

    Thanks for your help.

I use the Tablet for a month or two, and I found Win 7 not this practice. I then tried to install XP (I used a SP3 disk at startup of the system), but the computer shows blue screen after loading some files and would not start the installation program. I don't know if XP downgrade guide works because I have not seen tx2z in the list. Someone has an idea? Thank you very much.

Hi, I have a Tecra A2 Windows XP SP2 (and all of the updates in automatic mode). Only two months. When I go to display properties and click on the tab settings of the machine crashes with a blue screen. Yes, to you on time. In the device under Graphics Manager, two graphics controllers appear. But it's not a fault.
Also Toshiba recommend using the graphic drivers of Toshiba. In this case, you should visit Toshiba's pilot Web site, and you need to install the graphics driver from this site.

  • Blue screen when you insert the DVD - M40X

    Hello
I have a new computer laptop toshiba satellite M40x-183. (with DVD super multi)
After ten days of buying it, I found a problem when playing some DVD and CD, when I insert the dvd I got a blue screen saying... There is an error and windows can stop harmful to your pc and I have to contact the support then start dumping from 100% to 0%...
I have tried the dvd in many other dvd players and it works perfectly. Team support here told me that this type of dvd player are unable to process this format how it happens so that older toshiba and other laptop brands can do!
Is there a solution to this?

    Hello

Well, as the support service team say that the DVD player is not able to read this format.
But I can't give you a good answer why it s not possible to play this DVD. It s a simple fact that there are many DVD and CD formats on the market and number of readers is not able to play some formats.
Have you tried to play burn DVDs? I recommend you to test the DVD from other manufacturers. I use TDKs and it works correctly.
