Blue screens within 1-2 Minutes to logon

I have a Gateway 2 years running Windows Vista (32-bit) computer that has had problems in recent months, according to me, are connected.

In early October, my computer suffered a BSOD error (not_less_or_equal, I think, but I do not remember). It wasn't his first, so I don't worry much, but when I rebooted and logged on, I immedietally got the error again. I don't have the error in safe mode. I did a complete system restore (restore the navigation settings) and he was fine, so far.

Yesterday, I received and after about 20 minutes, I got a BSOD (IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal). I rebooted and got the same error 10 minutes later. This has happened a few minutes up to what was going on, as soon as I logged. I became frustrated, left, come back and had no error.

While I have time, I system restored back one day, recent updates that have been resettled, uninstalled AIM and in real time (latest installed programs) and the BSOD doesn't rear its ugly head once again, until tonight.

Then, I got the same error. Restarted, 30 minutes with problem, tried fixing it. Nothing has worked. I got the same error again, then again and again. Whenever shorter intervals.

I can load in safe mode. I checked the temperature (it's a bit high, but not bizarrely so) and this pourrait to be the problem, but it does not explain why the security mode works.

Someone knows how to fix this?

Hello

Added new hardware, updated drivers to date (don't forget to check in Control Panel - Windows Updates - pilot
updates), or add key software lately? Pilots and security/antivirus/antispyware products are also likely
suspects. Next message is my generic driver updated methods to use when you get to this section of the
troubleshooter.

BCCode: a 0x0000000A and BCCode: D1 0x000000D1

Cause

This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.

The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

Solve the problem

If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.

To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
  3. In the Windows Advanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool

  1. Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
  2. Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
  3. Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
  4. Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
  5. If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
  6. For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.

If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.

  • Error on Windows Vista blue screen about crash of hard disk after every 10-15 minutes.

My system crashes after every 15 minutes showing this blue screen error. Since a few days before this error, hard drive, reading ability has been slowed a lot. When opening a disk or a file, it takes a lot of time compared to the normal fulfilment. After this blue screen, my system goes for a restart, then another error appears as hard drive not found. Vista/xp have already installed software to transfer the BONES of one HD to another, if youre pc is

a desktop computer, it's fairly easy. Or, install a new HD to the pc boot, enter the BIOS, install the vista installation cd,

set pc to boot from the cd (1st boot priority) 2nd HD, save and exit. The installation menu to display, follow

instructions, select 'format' of the HD and windows will automatically install.

Or 2nd HD, installing under windows, go in run, type: diskmgmt.msc in msc, R.click on the new hard drive, create a

partition, use the default settings in the wizard, once thru, re-click, select to format, once through exit msc.

Back to run, type: XCOPY C:\*.* D:\/c/h/e/k/r are for everyone in the DOS window, once its through, the new

HD has the old operating system installed. D: is the letter of new HD, if, in light of the others, then use instead... It works

very well, but with a hard drive faulty, data could not get transferred, or it may be damaged...

    Hi Vashem,

The error STOP: 0x000000F4 can occur for several reasons. There are many reasons why your system may crash because of these screens to stop errors\Blue. The most common scenarios are: faulty drivers, hardware problem (especially RAM). In this case, the issue could be due to the motherboard is heated.

Check firmware and system disk controller BIOS settings are correct and that the storage device has been correctly installed.

Method 1: The problem is possibly due to material of unsupported disk controller. Check if BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) is set to IDE. Enter the BIOS and check the settings. Change the SATA to IDE option (if available). You can view the manual to do the same thing.

Note: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly.

Method 2: Disconnect any external devices from the computer except for the mouse and keyboard and check if that helps.

When the laptop starts it will go int Windows and then crash with a blue registration screen above. It lasts only about half a second and then machine will just a black screen and nothing else.
I am able to power down the laptop by pressing the power button for several seconds. When I try to reboot, he returned to the State of the black screen.
If I fail the laptop for somre time (say 30 minutes), it is up to the the Windows startup, then sequence blue screen black screen.

I tried to boot into windows safe mode, but a similar incident occurs (even if sometimes it's just the machine locked up with some fine black lines on the screen.

Is the "graphics" card edge broke? Is it a common problem with this model? Is it economically repairable?

    Thank you
    Chris

    Hello

What I would recommend would be first to perform a recovery of product on the machine. Baring in mind that all data you have on the laptop will be lost in doing this; It is imperitave that you back up your data first before going to come with it.

The reason why I'm saying you should do it is first of all if the repair see this as a software problem, and if you have some extended warranties on the laptop, you will be charged (although this may be the case anyway). In addition, discovering in mind if recovery of product does not resolve the problem then you could save yourself a lot of time with waiting for repairs.

As I know he is has no problems experienced with this machine where the graphics are concerned, and this isn't something I've heard of this model. Regarding economic repair, I would first have a quote on the phone. I know that it would cost A? Â £35 but if the cost of repair is within your budget and less expensive than a new unit, then that will be better for you.

Unfortunately there is no way of knowing what will be the cost of repair, that repairs are done in a specalist repair center, which is very far from here. You will need to be sent first for a quote before you know.

    I hope this helps,

    Kind regards

  • Dv6t 3000 Blue screening after 3 weeks

I bought a HP DV6T - 3000 3 weeks ago. The DVD burner did not work from the outset and made me lose 6-disc before I gave up on it. He then started blue screening a couple of days. It now blue screens every 10 minutes or more. Technical support have traced the issue to the bad memory or the cradle of the faulty memory. They offered to solve the question to have me return the laptop in the mail (within 2 weeks) or purchase home coverage of support for $130. They refused to accept that the machine was a piece of bad quality of manufacture and to send someone home to fix it. I need to get productive and return as soon as possible, so no choice but to buy the home cover and out an engineer. Conclusion - HP sell me a really poor piece of manufacturing that I have to pay to have resolved.

As the laptop is only 3 weeks another line of conduct should I? My protests have met with total intransigence and a total refusal to accept that the laptop was DOA and their responsibility to fix.

Can't speak for HP, but if it was me, I send in for repair but buy another laptop from a different company and sell the laptop repaired.
