  my printer does not work in this new machine of windows 8. tried everything to fix the problem. It won't send email documents to the printer either. just doesn't get it. Ive had kodak install drivers, and just, it will not work on this computer. It was fine on windows vista. the printer is set by default on this computer, then why it wont work on this one. not happy with windows 8 at all. wish I never bought it

  What kind of printer do you have and which version of Vista?  The printer will really offline - the light on the printer turns off - or think Vista is it offline?  Do you simply what to start or if this printer has never worked with Photo Gallery?

  Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and software of the printer.  Make sure that everything is completely uninstalled, restart the system, and then set the printer upward according to the recommendations of the manufacturer (sometimes you have to connect the printer to the computer at a certain time during the installation process).

  If this does not work, try to reinstall the photo gallery once the printer is successfully installed.

• HP SimplePass does not work except the windows log on screen

  When I bought this pc, it is Windows 8. I've updated my pc to the latest version 8.1 of windows. After the first update SimplePass stopped working on all browsers except Internet Explorer. He stopped work on the login screen too. But for some reason he started working on the newspaper on the screen all of a sudden. I contacted HP through chat support. They said that SimplePass is designed to work only with Internet Explorer. Other browsers may work or not. It is very good. According to his (Agent HP) SimplePass still works.

  But after the SimplePass update stopped working completely except the login screen. I click on the icon SimplePass... no answer... I slip on the fingerprint reader... nothing happens. But the computer only works on the windows login screen. Below is my current pc info. I think that HP must update SimplePass.

  It is always useful to have the complete error message without paraphrase.

  It also helps to identify the version of Windows you have, including service pack.

  And it helps to give the manufacturer of the printer in addition to the model.  In your case, I guess you have a Dell printer.  I know that some Dell printers are rebadged Lexmarks, but I don't know if it's a.

  Why you try to configure the USB port?  It cannot be configured - you've discovered.  It's normal.

  I have an attached PNY 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive that works perfectly on Windows XP. But when I try to use it on a Windows 7 operating system, it is very few recognized by Windows 7. I mean at least, is that when I look for the device by exploring 'Computer' in the menu start the device does not appear at ALL. However, when I go to control panel-> hardware and sound-> devices and printers, it shows a device called "DISK 2.0" which I believe are 'minimum' recognition of this 8GB flash drive, I was talking about.   An automatic Microsoft Windows update fixed my problem with this specific long ago PNY USB flash drive. It has been set at least the last 6 months or more.

  iOS is for iPhones and iPads, but you also state El Capitan, so I guess that's what you're talking about.

  There are a lot of audio formats, many writing programs, so it is quite difficult to determine if this is a problem of format of file or a problem of disc format.

  Even if it's an mp3 player, wmv or any other file extension, there are more for the 'format' of an audio file of the extension.

  These designations are just wrappers that contain audio information. Audio information can be encoded in a variety of different formats and still be an mp3 or wmv. An mp3 player that plays on Windows cannot play on a Mac due to using a codec that is not installed on the Mac. Apple recently purged the operating system of older, obsolete codecs. As a general rule, VideoLan VLC can play most audio and video files on Mac and Windows.
