Bluetooth Modul for Tecra M1

Hello
I bought a bluetooth module for my Tecra M1 laptop. Maybe can someone explain where I have to place this module inside the laptop? Thanks for your help, Roland

Hello

Unfortunately I've never updated the notebook with a module Bluetooth internal and I m not 100% if it is possible, especially on this laptop.
I have always used a USB Bluetooth stick and/or a PCMCIA Bluetooth card.

  • How to install the Bluetooth Module for Tecra S1

    Hello
I have an old model S1 - PT831E-1DCEE-GR - and you want to install a Bluetooth (PA3121U-1BTM model?), but where should it be mounted?

    Kind regards

    Ulf

    Hello

I think that on the Tecra S1 Bluetooth is optional.
So on some laptops the BT has been installed on some not but I think that it should be possible to upgrade the unit with the BT module. (I hope ;))

To my knowledge, the BT module must be installed in the place under the keyboard.
But if you have no experience in these procedures you should t remove or install anything!

The BT card must be placed above the keyboard area.
To remove or to install the Bluetooth card, you must:
    1. remove the two white flat head screws.
2 unplug the cable to antenna with the tweezers.
    3. disconnect the cards-SUMI (flat cables) on the system board.
4 (remove the Bluetooth card) or (install the Bluetooth card)

Be careful. But as I said above, usually it should be installed by a technician because the guys have more experience... you know

  • Is there an internal Bluetooth module for Satellite A300?

I bought a laptop toshiba Satellite A300, it does not contain a bluetooth module.
There are several types of modules bluetooth USB, but I don't think they are as practical as the interns.

If Toshiba does not include internal bluetooth module for Toshiba Satellite A300?

I know that for the Satellite * Pro * A300, which has the same shape, but is a business model, it is bluetooth module when you buy. Their modules should be compatible with my laptop. But how can I get a?

: D Akuma asked the model number! Then maybe you should post it instead of the xxx-xxxx ;)

Generally, it should be possible to upgrade the laptop with internal BT module but as told by Akuma, the laptop must contain the BT antenna in fog you can find it under the keyboard (Brown wire).

But note; These updates can be done only by the technician of the ASP, because if you remove any parts for your laptop, would cancel you the warranty.

  • Question about connector Bluetooth internal on Tecra 8100?

    Hi all.
I have a laptop of 52 - sp pt810e - 13 c. Updated to 512 MB by using 2 toshiba 256 MB pc100 modules purchased on ebay, upgrade to a PIII 850 also obtained in a ebay and upgraded to a larger 40 GB wdc wd400e hard drive, with a lot less noise than 12 GB the original.

Play with my computer, I found an internal connector "bluetooth" next to the inside which belongs to the keyboard.

Why is this? Are there any new Bluetooth module for Toshiba Tecra 8100?

    Hello

I guess that this connector is placed on the motherboard, because it is possible to upgrade the Tecra 8100 with an internal Bluetooth module.
I don t find Bluetooth modules compatible but all supported and compatible parts, you can order from the Toshiba service partner in your country.

I need some information on how to reinstall the Modules ACPI for Windows 2000 on my Tecra 8100. I get a message indicating that "there is missing files to use Toshiba Selectbay Service getting started. Please re - install for Windows 2000 "Toshiba ACPI Modules.

    Anyone know what this means?
It started to happen after I tried to install the update 'Value-added logical device' on the Toshiba site.
I suspect it was probably already on the computer, that's why the installation failed.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

    Hello

I found the description of this file.
The value logical device is Toshiba ACPI common modules for Windows 2000 support.
This software is the Foundation for other utilities provided by Toshiba Win2k and must be installed first!

I put t know not in what order you have installed the driver but this ACPI support Toshiba common modules must be installed at the beginning!

  • Kit Bluetooth for Tecra A8 - KF2?

Anyone know if there is such a beast? I have a new client with 4 of these laptops and would love to add a BT module to each of them. Search on Google and the search of these forums and web site of Toshiba not gave much info.

    Thank you

    Sleeman

If the laptop has a bluetooth antenna pre-installed, then all you need is the bluetooth module.
If there is no antenna, then by installing an antenna can be costly, if possible.
The Brochure should you say if there is a bluetooth antenna and also tell you the part number for the bluetooth kit.

Otherwise, the easiest would be to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter.

  • Impossible to install the SoundMAX for Tecra M2 drivers after install own WXP

    Hey,.

I need help, is the audio driver for tecra m2 laptop

    + soundMAX integrated digital audio + * Version: * + 5.12.1.5160 +

I recently wiped the computer with a clean installation of windows XP. All drivers seem to work fine after installation, except sound related. When I try to install the SoundMAX driver correct (I know it's okay, I have another computer laptop tecra m2 is exactly the same) the following error message is displayed right at the end of the installation.

+ "The driver does not exist! Restart your system and run this installer again. » +

When I reboot, the same thing. I installed the drivers from the chipset intel, rebooted and tried: same result.
When I go into Device Manager, all devices are taken into account except an unknown device, which is a yellow questionmark with a small exclamation mark on it. The device soundmax isn't here.
I also tried to reinstall windows and then the drivers with the sound result last, even.

I would appreciate if someone can help me solve this problem. If you need data from the system and you know a program to obtain the data in the system, send me a link and I'll post the data.

  • Beginner looking for the best upgrade memory for Tecra 8000

Hello - I am currently looking to upgrade the memory on my Tecra 8000 the current 96 of at least 256.

Is it possible that I can't find info on 256 MB extensions that are compatible

I also want to upgrade my hard drive of at least 20 Gb, but I think it will be easier

Any advice would be much appreciated

    Hello

In my opinion, you should contact the Service partner and ask them what a memory module is compatible with your laptop. I found that PC100 128 MB (PA3005U) is certainly usable for Tecra 8000.

Please be careful because all modules may not be recognized by BIOS correctly.

It is possible that 256 MB RAM PA3069U - 1 M 25 is compatible but I'm not sure about this. Pick up information by the Service partner before buy you one.

  • NB100-127: Bluetooth Module does not work

Hey all. I had an old netbook to my dad nb100 - 127 model No. PLL10e-00Y007AR. I installed a larger hard drive and also within the 2 GB of ram. Also, I installed windows 7 spinning round. During the installation of the hard disk, I noticed a place and a connector to connect an internal bluetooth module. I bought a part of the bluetooth module online no. PA3608U-1BTM.

After that I had installed and loaded windows its not detected by windows 7. I tried looking for the bios to see if there is any possibility of Monte sound but can't find.

If it is a defective module?
The module might not be compatible with the motherboard?
The feature is locked by the bios for this model was not delivered with this feature?

    Hello

As far as I know only certain NB100 units where equipped with a module BT.
You you connected the BT module internal an internal antenna?
Was an antenna (I know it was a Brown wire for BT) available?

As far as I know there are some BT the NB100 compatible modules:
    Example: BT-MAP-TAIYO-YUDEN part number: V000120750

However, as far as I know the BT card should be detected during installation of BT stack.
THEN download http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/ here BT stack and install it.
Check if the BT module would be recognized during installation.

  • Replacement of DVD - RW for Tecra A3

I have a Tecra A3 2 1/2 years, delivered with a carpet * a DVD UJ830s drive. During the warranty period of 2 years, the drive has been replaced in 5 times, now I am out of the warranty period & it's broken again.

Could someone please recommend a replacement drive (preferably double-layer), with the regular firmware support & proven reliability.

Since I am very far from a Toshiba service center, I'll make the slice myself - could someone provide some useful tips for this work.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

I downloaded the manual for Tecra A3. I found it on the Toshiba support page and all compatible CD/DVD players are mentioned in the user manual.
So you should take a look in this RFSO and must choose your favorite CD/DVD player.

    The replacement is not difficult;
To remove the optical drive module follow the steps below:
    1. turn the computer.
    2. remove the two screws fixing the optical drive module in place.
    3. slide the latch of Slim Select Bay to unblock the situation.
4 grasp the optical drive module and slide out.

    All that s!
