Bluetooth works only after restart

I got my new iMac a few months ago, and since then, I had this annoying problem.
My bluetooth mouse and keyboard don't work after a reboot, in fact all bluetooth doesn't work after reboot.

When I start my computer and connect with a second mouse and plugged in the bluetooth keyboard is "not found" and there is not in the system of care either in bluetooth. But I googled and tried different things and makes the SMC reset and after restarting the bluetooth is rising and running after the connection...

Do I need to restart my computer everytime I want to use it?

Hi Anna,.

You have an imac 27 "?

I bought a new one and spent a total of more than 20 hours on the phone to apple care. After a month, I return two different imacs and am now on the third.

After giving me bad suggestions a month, apple now care, it is true, now, not a month before, tell me that they have discovered a 'known problem' by which the new iMac 27 "with some configurations loses their bluetooth connectivity if an update of the BONE is made up of el capitan!  I don't see any other product you would have a problem with, even if you bought it new.

  • XPS 8300 nine connects to the Broadcom Netlink Communication card only after restarting 3 - 4 times at cold start.

    Hello

    I just bought a new XPS 8300.

After woeking OK a few days, now it connects to the Broadcom Netlink Communication card only after restarting 3 - 4 times at cold start.

    Someone has the same problem?

All other computers in the House connect from the first shot. (two cell phones and another office.) They have much slower computers.

In the beginning, I have re-installed the driver (DVD and downloaded), but not that's the problem.

The computer must have a little hot.

When it does connect, Test the Dell tool DOES NOT SHOW (does not appear in the list of tests) Broadcom NetLink Gigabite Ethernet card.

I'm a little disappointed, it's a brand new computer, I was expecting more problems from the beginning.

    Thanks, Cristian, Montreal, Canada

    All,

According to the received update, please call Support technical and would take appropriate action.

The fix is based on case to case, so I would ask all those who face this problem to call tech support for your region.

The technical team sent details to the technical team and the TS process for this issue should go smoothly.

FYI: I was not provided with a patch, please contact Dell Technical Support for more details.

  • Bluetooth works only on Windows 10 for Inspiron N5010

Previously on Windows 7 Bluetooth worked well, but as I updated my 10 Windows in Windows 7 there is no choice or not a single hint of Bluetooth in my inspiron N5010. Please give me the link of the compatible driver for this.

I downloaded the Bluetooth driver for this laptop of dell drivers and run as it is compatible for Windows 7, but it also did not work.

Well, at the time when the computer starts by displaying the "Dell" logo, press F2 (or del or something, I think it varies from one computer to another) to enter the BIOS. Then just search it Bluetooth option. Disable, save, restart, enable. Here is a picture I just pulled on the web at about destinn what to expect in the BIOS. It may be a little different from one computer to the other.

  • External keyboard works only after the restart with Port Replicator III Plus

The problem is that when I start the laptop, the external PS/2 keyboard does not work. When I reboot keyboard this one turns around and then I can use it.

This problem occurs on a laptop Toshiba Tecra with an Advanced Port Replicator III Plus. I used several keyboards, so this isn't the problem. I changed a value in the bios which is used for devices USB (mouse/keyboard). I disabled the option, because I use a keyboard and a PS/2 mouse, but the problem is not resolved. I hope someone has an answer to this problem.

    Hello

It will be interesting to know what model Tecra you use. Is it perhaps Tecra A6?

  • Bluetooth works only with fresh OS installation

I bought the laptop from m6-n113dx HP ENVY at Best Buy and a 240 GB SATA III SSD. When I reinstalled the operating system to a previous license that I owned for Windows 8.1 Pro x 64, I could no longer work of Bluetooth radio. The Qualcomm drivers work very well, or at least Windows can't find something wrong with them.  I did not format the original hard drive came with the laptop, so I replaced it to see if the bluetooth radio was working on a previous installation of Windows 8.1 to find it works very well.

Drivers that have been installed on the functioning of the operating system are the same drivers as the replacement of the BONES.  The radio works with the previous operating system, but not with the new OS.  The only difference I can say is in the BIOS settings where I disabled the option 'Security' on the HP Secure key.

Where can I go to fix this? I don't mind doing research and my own problems, however, I need some additional tips.

Thanks in advance for the help that the community can bring!

    Hello @chrisvirg,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I read your post on how the Bluetooth does not work on your computer after you have installed Windows Professional 8.1, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

To make sure that the Bluetooth adapter works on your computer, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the adapter software there is. To do this, I recommend you remove the pilots in programs and features and the Device Manager. Once removed the old software, restart your computer.

When your computer boots into Windows, install one of the following drivers, according to the name of the card wireless in Device Manager:

    or

If the Bluetooth adapter still does not work on your computer, I recommend following the steps below:

Step 1. Go to Device Manager
Step 2. Right click on "Bluetooth device" you want
Step 3. Select "update driver software... »
Step 4. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software".
Step 5. Choose "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
Step 6. Select "Ports (COM & LPT)"
Step 7. Select "Microsoft" to the list of "manufacturers".
Step 8. Finally select "Standard series via a Bluetooth connection.

If you are unable to connect to a Bluetooth device, try the following:

Step 1. Search for 'Change device' in the start menu in Windows 8.
Step 2. Click on where it says change device installation settings.
Step 3. Select No, let me choose what to do option.
Step 4. Check the automatically get the device app option
Step 5. Click on save changes to save the settings that you select

You can also try the following:

Step 1: Go to RUN (Windows Logo + R) and type "services.msc" and Enter
Step 2: Now find 'Bluetooth Support Service' and double click it
Step 3: Now click on the Log on tab and type "Local Service" without the quotes
    Step 4. Click on "account".
Step 5: Now remove any authorization of passwords the password field blank
Step 6: Below the upper left title should be a hyperlink 'Start' click

You can also view tab management power and unchecked the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

  • PC laptop Envy 17: Envy 17 laptop PC fingerprint reader works only after the start

The fingerprint on my Envy 17 reader reads only a fingerprint the first time that I connect once the system is booted (after shutdown or restart). From time to time, it will read once the system is locked, but that is extremely rare. I put the system in place using my MSN account and also configured SimplePass with default settings. SimplePass version is 8.00.57.

I looked on several other issues in the forum and did not find something like this. Other issues reported when related to player doesn't work do not, for example. I found a few link in some messages describing such tasks that go back to a previous version of SimplePass.

I don't know if it is related to my problem or not, but I noticed that the drive light sometimes flashes a sequence once the system is running. It seems that when the light flashes, it will not be read. It stops flashing when I placed my finger on the reader. (I think that the typical sequence is 3 flashes, pause, 1 flash. This cycle repeats.) This isn't always for that well, and I have found no correlation between the flashes and the measures taken after the initial logon.

I made the fingerprint reader driver, rather than later.

I uninstalled SimplePass (after update to the last with no luck) and the drive works fine now. I use RoboForm for my password management and it supports using the fingerprint so I'm covered there. I guess it should be renamed "SimplyNoPass."

  • Bluetooth works only with iPhone

Initially, I had to try to import files using my iMac to my iPhone release, but it did not work, so I disabled AirDrop and tried Bluetooth normal, but still got the same error on the device Bluetooth iMac line: "the device has no necessary services."

At the command prompt, I can pair devices but after pairing, the iPhone is displayed as 'Connected' for a few seconds and turns then to 'Not connected', while on the iPhone the iMac still appears as "not connected".

Both devices appear to be detectable (for example on iMac, Bluetooth sharing turned on in Preferences-> sharing; on the iPhone system, it should be noted that detectable at settings-> Bluetooth).

I tried unpairing, repair and reset.

The iMac is a 20 inch early 2008 with OS 10.11.3, and has the iPhone 5 iOS 9.2.1.

More details on your process may be useful. Let me describe what happens when I use the Bluetooth to connect my LG G3 to my MacBook Pro.

    1. Devices have been paired.
    2. I can click on the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar and select "Open Bluetooth Preferences ».
    3. In Bluetooth preferences, it shows my LG G3 as "not connected".
    4. On my LG G3, it does not show an active connection to my MacBook Pro.
    5. I can click on the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar and select "LG G3"-> "browse files on the device...". »
      1. Bluetooth File Exchange opens, displaying the contents of my LG G3. And in Bluetooth preferences, now it shows connected.

Did you try to follow the process?

  • Bluetooth works only with Windows 7

I have a Lenovo t61 I installed Windows 7 on.  Bluetooth looks like that it is all loaded, updated and operating normally.  However he never shows any bluetooth device after the search.  This includes several cell phones, mice and keyboards.  My other T40 with XP sees all these devices and connects without a problem.  It has an internal Broadcom BCm2045B.  I have done some research and tried all the drivers I could find.  Program update Broadcom (SetupBtwDownloadSE) stops and says he can update the material.  I have the Windows Mobile in charge of taking care of 'other bluetooth devices.

I spent a few hours with the MS technology and he finds no solution is a Lenovo driver problem. I'm out of warranty Lenovo won't talk to me.  After 2 weeks, I tried all the easy stuff... the bluetooth is on.  It is configured to allow the bluetooth devices. Lenovo and MS say there is no update will be required. The BIOS is updated.  I tried at least 40 different drivers.

I'm going to an external dongle but I hate the idea of this rate me - we.

If someone has something that isn't a standard press fn5 to turn the radio on it please let me know.

    Thank you!

I have reintalled Windows 7 and now the work of Dongle.  I think it was a Windows 7 problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM w / WiFi works only after changing SIM card not

    Hello

I need help (otherwise I would not write here). I have the Bold 9930. Until I left the States, my phone was working perfectly fine... I had an email, BBM, whatsapp, text, etc...

When I arrived in Haiti, I wanted to change my SIM card, then I would be able to use / have a number of Haitian. I don't have an international plan. When the guy put my the Haitian SIM, the phone asked my BlackBerry ID and password. I typed all the two, which were both correct, but he told me that it was a wrong password. The guy told me that the only way I'd be able to 'reset' from my BlackBerry ID would be to disconnect and to do this, it would eliminate all my pictures and everything. I didn't do that so I ended up buying a Haitian phone w / a Haitian SIM card.

At this point, I have two phones. An American with a SIM American (BlackBerry) and a Haitian phone with a SIM card that is Haitian.

When I got home, I turned on my American phone and its WiFi, but my BBM and emails were NOT WORKING! However, my Facebook application and the browser are both works perfectly well.

I restarted my phone several times since yesterday and nothing has changed. I checked this morning to see if it worked, but not luck.

So my question (s) / issue (s) is now:

    1. How can I get my BBM works again? (probably the most important)

    2. How can I get my email working again?

    3. is it possible possible for me to have my BlackBerry (US phone) work with my Haitian SIM card?

    Please, please, please, help.

Unfortunately, the device works as expected. Facebook, the wifi browser work fine on wifi but BBM and email REQUIRE a valid BlackBerry data Plan.

The only way to make it work is to have a BlackBerry data Plan on the Haitian Sim Card.

  • Screen works only after a hard reset.

    Hello.

I got this dv6220la of Pavilion with a strange screen problem.

In normal use, the screen never lights up, all lights come on, I see the drive hard drives work, but completely black screen, not even the backlight remains on.

If I keep the power button until the laptop turns off and then turn it on, while the screen works normally.

Whenever I turn it off normally (press the power button or use the stop dialog box) will not work after turning on the screen and whenever I have the strength it will work normally until the next power off.

    What could happen?

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
