blurred text

With the last update (38.1.0) all the text becomes text faded in a short time and when hovering my mouse over the text, it unblures.

Could you try disabling the hardware acceleration?

    Hello

I'm developing an application of webworks using angular UI and Bootstrap. Recently, some parts of my application appear with blurry text when the first load of the screen. When the user touches the screen no matter where the text magically becomes clear. The blurry text does not always appear when the screen loads only sometimes. The strange thing is the text is not blurred in the body of my application and the title of the app remains clear.

    (My app screenshot)

I did some research and didn't find all the answers, but I noticed that the angular demo mobile page (http://mobileangularui.com/demo/#/) had the same problem as my application. When you open the menu on the left and hold on one of the menu a little items, you will see that the text becomes Blur/Blur. Now, in my application, this happens even when the user does not have his finger on the menu item.

    Thank you

Unfortunately, it was a known problem that has been fixed and will be available in the future updates.

    Thank you.

  • Blur or blur text... sometimes

    Hello

We are currently working on an online project, where we have several projects Captivate created by different authors, using the same model.  When one of the authors published its draft, the text does not appear as strong.  Blurred or fuzzy is the best way to describe it.

The strange thing is, if I take the same project file and publish it on my computer, the text seems fine.  It is not a question of quality of the screen, as published by me and other project files give on all computers, and those published by its look blurry or fuzzy on all computers.

We use Captivate 4 and Windows XP, and we publish for Flash 9 with HTML.

    Any thoughts or ideas?

    Thank you

  • Their blurred text Windows 7

    Hello!

A few days ago my computer (running Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64-bit, 2.40 GHz, Intel i5) freezes for a few seconds, makes a beep and then unfreezed like nothing happened. Since that time when I put my mouse on an icon or click with the right button, I have a blurry text. I also noticed in Excel. It really bothers me because sometimes I can't read what it says and I can't really use it Excel right now. For example, here are three pictures:

    Hello

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community and providing the clarification screen.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. Are you fuzzy screen with excel or any application?
    2. Are all the device drivers and updates of Windows updated?
    3. You did it all change important before the show?

According to the description of the problem you get blurry screen when you open excel sheet or right-click on any icon to context menu. The question might be if the display drivers get corrupted or need a update. This could also be due to the resolution of the screen. So, try the steps below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

    Method 1

Try to update the drivers to display from the link provided below and see if it helps. If the problem persists, try to update the drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    Method 2

If the problem persists, try to change the resolution of the screen and see if it makes a difference. Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images displayed on your screen. At higher resolutions, such as 1600 x 1200 pixels, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller so more items can fit on the screen. At lower resolutions, such as 800 x 600 pixels, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they appear larger.

To change the screen resolution, please refer to the article mentioned below.

  • Can I get the size of the decent text everywhere?

Including system menus, applications on opening without zooming, etc.. ?

I use a size of minimum font in Firefox, of course, but I need a solution in the world.

I have been using the reduced resolution settings, but they blur text and cause spacing and make bugs. I can't use the zoom options for accessibility, because the zoom and other animation often triggers my migraines. I had my eyes checked last year.

    Hello Marja, e.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you want to change the appearance of text on your MacBook to make it easier to see what is on your screen. I understand how difficult it can be to not be able to see the items on your Mac, as well as it should. I often have to change the settings for appearance on my MacBook as well. Let's see how I can help out.

See the article OS X El Capitan: make it easier to see what's on the screen, more precisely, these sections:

Change the appearance of the desktop

Make the less transparent office: menu choose Apple > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click view, and then select "Reduce transparency." The transparent areas of the gray became windows desktop and app.

Choose an image from the office with less colors or forms: menu choose Apple > System Preferences, click Desktop & screen saver, click Desktop, browse folders of photo on the left, then select a less crowded picture or a solid on the right color.

Making darker borders: choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click view, and then select 'increase the contrast. OS X automatically reduces transparency and makes the borders of buttons, boxes, and other elements more visible on-screen.

Increase the size of the cursor: menu choose Apple > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click view, and then move the cursor size slider to the right that you need.

Make icons and other larger items

Increase the size of icons and the desktop icon text: control-click on the desktop, choose Show Options, then move "Icon size" slider to the right. Click on the drop down menu "Text size", then choose a text size.

Increase the size of the icons and icon text in a folder from the Finder: select the folder in the Finder, and then choose View > View Options. The view you are using for the folder determines how to increase size.

    • To display the icon, move "Icon size" slider to the right. Click on the drop down menu "Text size", then choose a text size.

    • For a list or Cover Flow view, select the size of icon to the right of "size of the icon. Click on the drop down menu "Text size", then choose a text size.

    • For the display of the column, click the drop-down menu "Text size", then choose a text size. You can't choose a size from icon.

Increase the size of items in the Finder and Mail boxes: menu choose Apple > System Preferences, click general, click on the drop down menu "Sidebar icon size", then choose wide.

For more information, please see OS X El Capitan: use accessibility features

    All the best.

  • 32BV500B - blurry text using the HDMI and PC connection

    Hello

I currently use the 32BV500B as HDMI PC monitor.
I would rename the entry 'PC' to allow the TV HDMI mode "pc" to correct a blurred text.
I don't see any option to do this, use the menu system.

Otherwise, how can I turn on the TV in the mode "PC"?

I can confirm that I tried different HDMI cables and the blurry text only occurs via HDMI on 2 different computers.

    Thank you.

    Hello

It seems that the HDMI connection can be switched in PC mode.
PC mode is available only for the VGA input.

Please take a look at page 28
    http://www.Toshiba-OM.NET/LCD/PDF/English/Country_Specific/BV500-32-English-specific.PDF

For switching source PC, press the "SOURCE" on your remote and select the PC input. You can also use the Source menu to switch to PC mode.
Note that PC mode menu settings are only available when the TV is in the source PC.

But if you have connected the PC to the HDMI port and the image is not clear enough, I recommend you to change the level of sharpness in the image menu.

  • T510 - Win7 64bits/Random fuzzy text and icons - please help...

So I just got my T-510 after a month wait with the screen WLED HD + 1600 x 900 and NVIDIA 3100 Mr. Ocassionlay I would notice some weird pixelation on the desk, but I use it I start to notice an ocassional but a very annoying artifact.

This can be Blur/Blur text and icons. This text can be on a web site, fast moving text, and even the Start button in the corner appears blurred along the circumference. Also applied to other windows browsers. The blur lasts a few minutes, disappears and is completely random. It can be really pronounced on sites such as Youtube and DIsney. I confirmed this on all major browsers.

It's really annoying and I have a hard time he described in support of Lenovo. Any help will be appreciated. If anyone else has noticed this?

  • U2515H, custom 2560 x 1440 resolution HDMI is blurred

I use two computers with my U2515H purchased from Dell, a month ago.  My laptop Dell M4700 (NVIDIA Quadro K200M) with a Display Port output displays a clear text to the native resolution of 2560 x 1440, but my office with a new (bought for this monitor) card video Asus GEFORCE ASUS GT610-2GD3-CSM displays blurry text in the resolution of 2560 x 1440 customized to its HDMI port (card has VGA, DVI and HDMI ports).  M4700 Dell also displays blurry text with its HDMI port to the resolution of 2560 x 1440 custom.

I traded a few very useful emails with a NVIDIA support, and we both came to the conclusion only Dell can provide a solution.  Here's what we tried:

    • The most recent NVIDIA (347.88) video driver update.
    • I have not found a HDMI 2.0 cable in the city, but replaced my existing cable with a certified cable 4Kx2K.  Two Web sites indicate HDMI is an improvement of the material and does not new new cables or connectors. This seems to be a solution to the impasse, and an excuse for cable manufactures to keep the premium high-priced HDMI cables. See: http://www.hdmi.org/manufacturer/hdmi_2_0/, http://www.cnet.com/news/hdmi-2-0-what-you-need-to-know/
    • Downloaded the utility monitor Asset Manager of the web page to:
http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/moninfo.shtm.  Tested HDMI port and as everyone on the internet, the U2515H indeed says is the highest HDMI resolution like 2048 x 1152.  I wasn't able to test the RFP, given that my Dell laptop has security restrictions used by my office.

In addition to working with NIVIDIA, while creating a custom HDMI of 2560 x 1440, I found the stable car timeline, but has blurred text.  All other options timing (GTF, DMT, CVT and CVT-reduced) provide a much sharper text, but become unstable when I disconnect and then try to log on. To me, this suggests that a non-standard custom calendar can clean the blurry text.  Here's where Dell might be useful.  Here are the options of resolution custom manual HDMI resolution 2560 x 1440:

    • Refresh rate (Hz): set at 60, but is adjustable in steps of 1 Hz
    • Depth (bpp) color: set at 32, 16 and 8 other options are
    • Scan type: set to Progressive, another option is interlaced
    • Active Pixels: adjustable in increments of 1 pixel for H and V
    • Perron (pixels): adjustable in increments of 1 pixel for H and V
    • Synchronize the width (pixels): adjustable in increments of 1 pixel for H and V
    • Total number of pixels: adjustable in increments of 1 pixel for H and V
    • Polarity: Positive or negative for H and V
    • Refresh rate: horizontal seems fixed to 72.00 KHz, Vertical appears adjustable in 1,000 Hz. - with an apparent range of 59,000 to 61,000.
    • Pixel Clock: looks fixed to 162,0000 MHz

I don't know where start by experimenting with different options, so your advice is welcome. I can experiment with my Dell M4700, but I prefer to experiment with my desktop built house (my main computer to this monitor).  The video card has been described above.  I am running Win 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64-bit.  I have reset the monitor and tested as suggested in the "read this first before posting."

    Thanks for your help.

Well, not quite perfect answer, but almost.

Update: after a few exchanges of useful e-mail with Nvidia and assistance from Dell, I was able to get a clear with HDMI as I always have with Display Port of entry.  I used Control Panel for Nvidia to set a custom resolution.  NVIDIA suggested I start with a refresh rate of 30 Hz and work my way up.  I could get my card ASUS GT610-2GD3-CSM 'entry level' chart to produce output HDMI 2560 x 1440 stable at 45 Hz refresh rate using GTF timing.  However, by following the instructions at www.notebookcheck.net/2560x1440-or-2560x1600-via-HDMI.92840.0.html , I was able to get an HDMI output stable at 55 Hz with CVT-reduced the black moment (I used the suggestion of"graphics Nvidia GeForce without Optimus').  It's probably best that I hope with my entry card, although I might try a shorter cable (instead of 6 ' 3 ') to see if I can get the extra 5 Hz.  The video card must be HDMI 1.4 compatible (that Asus says that it is after I asked), and I also bought an inexpensive HDMI 1.4 cable from Amazon (AmazonBasics high-speed HDMI Cable), although I'm not sure that cable really helped.

  • Blurry text in the device as well as some other applications Manager.

My system is an Alienware 15 R2 with graphics of 970 m.

Initially, I was using the "display driver uninstaller" tool for cleaning re instillation of nvidea drivers because I had some display problems with older games. (Now I know that the program was not necessary)

Then the display of all my programs are vague and very difficult to read. I tried another reinstall by using the display driver uninstall, but it crashed when rebooting in safe mode.

Windows 10 required a soft & after instillation who did I had the same problems of blurred text.

Technical support advised me to change the DPI scale

    www.tenforums.com/.../5990-DPI-scaling-level-displays-change-Windows-10-a.html

& to change the plain text display

    www.tenforums.com/.../5990-DPI-scaling-level-displays-change-Windows-10-a.html

It didn't work, but the strange thing is that a windows update fixed the problems for some programs, but not all. Steam & Google display correctly but Revit, Auto Cad & for some strange reason, my device manager are blurred.

Here are a few screenshots to help diagnose the problem

Tech support recommended 10 to win an ANOTHER re instillation, but I don't see how this could help.

    All of the Suggestions.

Hi - I recently got my XPS13 version QHD (9350). The first thing I noticed that was blurry Device Manager as OP. Some windows are also very small. I need almost a magnifying glass to read. Y at - it any resolution to this?

Of course, the appropriate display drivers must be installed correctly.
In the Control Panel, set the display resolution to the (full) native resolution of the display panel. Who takes care of the "fuzzy". Always leave it like that.
To provide superior, do you it in a different place. You can adjust the scale to the top of 100%.

Oh, go ahead. Read the messages the wire, this is not a driver problem, making the scale or resolution. The blur is due to legacy applications not scaling properly, that's why the Device Manager seems to blur, but not the modern control panel interfaces (metro).

  • where I find how to change the icon size and text ahead of settings (box i.e.message)

Try to change the size of fonts and text in the TEXT WINDOW WINDOW INACTIVE, ACTIVE WINDOW, AND BOX of MESSAGE.  How in this screen?

    Wilma Griffin

    Change the size of icons:
Right-click the desktop, point to view, and then click large icons, icons or small icons.

    Tips
You can also use the scroll of your mouse wheel to resize the desktop icons. On the desktop, press on and hold down the Ctrl key while you highlight the wheel to make icons larger or smaller.

    Change text size:

You can make text and other items, such as the icons on your screen easier to see by making them bigger. You can do without changing the resolution of the screen of your monitor or your laptop. This allows you to increase or decrease the size of text and other items on your screen while keeping your monitor or laptop set to its optimal resolution.

Right click on desktop, and then click screen resolution

    Choose one of the following:

More small - 100% (default value). This prevents the text and other elements to normal size.

Average - 125%. This sets text and other items to 125% of normal size.

Expansion - 150%. This sets text and other items to 150% of normal size. This option appears only if your monitor supports a resolution of at least 1200 x 900 pixels.

    Click on apply.

To see the change, close all your programs and then log off from Windows. This change will take effect the next time that you open a session.

You can also display text more or less by changing your screen resolution, but if you use an LCD monitor or laptop, we recommend that you set your screen to its native resolution to avoid a blurred text. It is the optimal resolution an LCD monitor or laptop was designed to display based on its size.

    Active and inactive windows:

Click Start, type: Windows color and appearance
    Press enter on your keyboard

In the item list, click the part of Windows that you want to change the font for. For example, if you want to change the font of the menu, click on Menu in the list. Then, make the following changes:

In the font list, click the font you want to use.

In the size list, click the desired font size.

In the color list, click the desired font color.

Repeat these steps for each item that you want to change, click OK, and then click OK again.
