Bo off the power when save you in Keynote 7

I use Keynote to constitute a group of slides synchronized to a soundtrack that plays on the group.  The time for each slide is not exactly the same thing.  In Keynote 6.6 and previous versions, I joined the soundtrack, then folder mode advanced blades as needed.  To do this I need to hear the soundtrack when recording (mike is off) the time to advance each slide.  It worked well until Keynote 7 I have discover that the soundtrack is disabled in record mode.  It's actually record, but I can not hear in record mode (only when the recorded session is read).  It's silly that I need to hear the soundtrack to know when to move to the slide.

It doesn't seem to be a matter of Keynote7, because when I removed 7 Keynote and replaced with Keynote 6.6 everything worked as I expected.  In other words, I could hear the soundtrack in record mode.

I have macOS Sierra and use a MacPro (end 2013) or MacBook.

Has anyone found if it is possible to hear the soundtrack in record mode in Keynote 7 (with microphone mute or, indeed, using the microphone on the soundtrack).  If yes have you had to adjust anything in the 7 Keynote circles to hear the soundtrack in record mode?

There are a number of things, is not the case in Keynote 7 that were available in previous versions.

Its never a good idea to use an application in a version of point zero (e.g. 7.0) for production activities, use it to test only. Keynote version 6.6.2 works as expected in the Sierra, so that install from a backup file.

    Hey guys,.
Is not my ThinkPad Edge E320 but a few months old, but I've noticed a problem with it. I would like to know if others are facing similar problems and if there is no solution for it.

The laptop shuts off completely when I move. But I noticed that it doesn't happen if I'm REALLY careful with it and move it into both sides.

It seems to be a 'soft spot' on the underside of the laptop that forced him to cut immediately when it is pressed. And move the laptop holding down causes exactly that.

Is anyone else facing such a question? It would be great if someone could help me with this.
E320 no users, if you have an idea about what is happening and that you may know a solution, please do not hesitate to post on this.

    Thank you everyone.

I found a solution that seems a permanent solution to this problem.

I bought the E320 for a year. Never had a problem during my study of honours. That from last week, when moving the laptop, the machine stopped immediately offshore. After some troubleshooting (plug battery and AC power), I noticed that the problem occur only when you press and hold the bottom of the left upper keyboard with pressure.

Google this question, found a large amount of complaints from the forum of Lenovo and bath tub. Thanks to the entrance of ThunderDuck whirlpool. I just put a thick paper (I chose the photo paper) underneath the SSD (metallic surface caused the short circuit, I guess) and the problem has been corrected.

    Hello

I put t know any diagnostic software that could analyze this question, I think that a technician of the ASP may be able to provide exactly this question results

    > What bothers me a little is that some time ago, I had the laptop and my knees and I forgot that a memory stick has been connected to the rear. The stick was pushed up and was slightly damaged.

I think this might be the reason why the laptop stopped while you touch the USB port eventually ports were damaged by using the memory stick, this could cause the laptop off

However, what we can do is to provide some suggestions and assumptions
It you want to know why this is happening exactly, then you need to contact a technician laptop for a control.

  • Saving ink by powering off the power when you are not using it?

I have a HP Officjet 6700 running under Windows 7 64-bit and read that turning off your printer when you don't use to save on ink. Is this true?

Right, but turn off will save a bit of power. Inkjet printers need ink more when you turn very often.

    I hope this helps.

  • Tecra S2 began to turn off the power when you run some heavy applications

I have laptop Tecra S2 and (almost 3 years) had no problem so far.

Recently, it started to turn off instantly when you run some heavy duty applications, such as games. He takes turns instantly and can work hours if it's just a spreadsheet or just Web broswing documents but when I start a game it takes 15-20 minutes.

Once I started it even once, it takes less time to get the same result.

My guess is overheating - any ideas how to fix?
Or it may be something different?

    See you soon

    Hello

There is nothing to fix. The laptop needs to be cleaned. It must be done on the professional track. This means that the laptop must be disassembled as just at the moment when the cover is removed the cooling fan and the cooling rack can be cleaned properly.

After having this laptop will work like new.

  • Satellite P300 - randomly turns off the power when connected to the external monitor

    Hello

    I have a Satellite P300, Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 2.53 GHz, 4 GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 512 MB, running Windows 7 ultimate x 64.

Recently, I bought an AOC v22 led screen and connect my conputer via HDMI. Everything works fine, but sometimes my computer off just randomly. I might have something to do with my computer overheating, so I clean the fan, but this was not good.

I think it has something to do with the LED screen because my computer was never off his own.

    Hello

So this also happens if you n t connect laptop to external display? So, you can determine what is causing this problem.

If the computer laptop doesn t turn off without external monitor, you should try to update the BIOS and the display driver. Two updates that you can find on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

You close the lid if you have connected the external monitor?
What operating system do you use?

In addition, it would be interesting to know how you clean the laptop. That's why I use the jet of compressed air that can blow the dust from the cooling fans and you don't have to disassemble the laptop.

When booting with the disk recovery he died each time in a different position - when partition formatting, copying the files, etc..

    Thank you in advance.

(Sorry I don't speak English very well)

When I had my old computer I encountered similar problems in Windows XP and the Windows XP installation. There is a WinXP option to disable the auto-restarting after a problem, instead of restarting, a blue screen stating that the problem appeared. I lived during the installation of WinXP blue screens every time at various times as you and your power off, he appeared on the different WinXP CD (without SP, SP2 with nlite, etc.).

Maybe your "power off" is hidden blue screen too, but I'm not sure. If this is the case, it may be a hardware problem, so you should test your RAM, your drive hard, etc., for example using memtest for your RAM and the built-in WinXP 'chkdsk '.

It's probably hardware problems. Were you ever able to correctly use the disk without problem in the past, or is this the first time you try to use the recovery disk?

  • Cannot use Wake on LAN, unless that "allow this computer to turn off the device to save power" is checked

Wake on LAN - power management

On my Media Center PC, I am unable to use Wake on LAN unless "allow this computer to turn off the device to save power" is checked (in the tab power management of the adapter in the Device Manager). "Allow this device to wake the computer" and 'Allow only a magic packet wake the computer' is checked, but become grayed out when "allow this computer to turn off the device...". ' is not checked.

The problem is, Wake On Lan doesn't work unless the computer has been asleep for a short period of time. If I try to activate the computer using WOL after about 10 minutes, he never wake. I guess that's because "Allow this computer to turn off the device to save power" is checked, the machine is before turning off the network adapter.

Is it possible to force the computer to disable the NETWORK card, but would retain the capability of WOL? Or ensure you THAT WOL works little regardless of how long the PC has been asleep?

The machine is a Windows 7 PC with a Nvidia nforce network controller.

By the way, I have a laptop on the same cable network that has all three items checked in the tab for its NIC device power management, and this machine can be awake at all times using WOL, regardless of how long he has been asleep, this issue must therefore be with the configuration of the Media Center computer.

I would be really grateful for any suggestion, I spent a lot of time trying to get this to work!

    See you soon

    Hello

If the systems are only a sleep you don't need a magic packet.

If computers are set to wake on any network traffic all Ping or arp will wake them up.

For this configuration, it is best to disable the saving of NIC.

    Hello

Is it possible to disable the bios beep when the battery is empty or the laptop's Hibernate?

Maybe it sounds silly, but I put t understand why that should be disabled. When the battery reaches the critical battery level you will be informed about this and portable must be connected to the power running or you have to save your work and turn it off.

Do you really want to work until the battery is completely discharged?

Anyway, AFAIK this notification level BIOS cannot be disabled.

The image (it back up to an external drive as full image) and reinstall Windows XP, update, drivers and everything.  Install any plugins that you NEED to do all that you see here that the bat hurt.  If the problem no longer exists, something has gone wrong with your system from before (corrupt files or your cleaning is not as complete as you think) and if the problem persists - probably something to do with the material. In all cases, you can return to the image if you wish.

To the extent wherever it is the registry, I must ask, * how * you have come to this conclusion?  Not that I'm defending something - I was wondering what you did to decide who is not your registry database?  (Side: I agree with you.)

That's what * I * would call cleaning and optimization of a Windows XP machine:

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.
