  No screen turned visible, but I think you have your mail sorted as threaded. That's all mail on a conversation thread is placed together, and the thread open in a tree like the folders pane.

  View (Alt + V) menu > sort by > unthreaded will turn it off.

• Problems of sending newsletters created in Publisher 2007 as e-mail messages (IE newsletter in the body of the message)

  I created a newsletter in MS Publisher 2007 for distribution by e-mail.

  Everything looks good on screen, and when I saw my newsletter (in my browser, IE8), it looks perfect!

  BUT, some problems appear.

  1. when I send a test to myself when it appears in my Outbox, and then in my Inbox (Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager), some of the formatting is lost

  2 when I send a test to a few others, although some of the formatting is lost in my Outbox, I like that it looks perfect in other boxes of reception (also Outlook) and which is particularly important;

  3. a person reported more receive the newsletter in the message, they also received a significant number of attached files (i.e. one for each image / graphic designer / contour box, etc.).

  Did I miss something in the settings / options for the editor and / or Microsoft Outlook that will allow me to send the newsletter in the body of the message, without all the attachments that goes with it?

  Also, when I receive newsletters, I am always given the chance to 'click here' to view in my web browser.  How can I offer this option in my newsletter?

• "Not responding" message at the beginning upward. SOLVED by the creation of a new identity & import the messages from the old to the new.

  What is a Pop3 account? IMAP? Hotmail? Can I assume that it used to work? If it worked until recently, follow these steps.
   
   
  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.
   
  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
   
  In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.
   
  With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.
   
  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.
   
  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
   
  General precautions for Outlook Express:
   
  Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  getBodyText() will work on 4.5 If the body is 'plain text '. Otherwise, you will need to get the HTML content of the message and extract the text elements.

  You want to embed a word in a text or html based email? E-mails do NOT support the required formatting in a Word document. You can convert it to an html document and process it accordingly...

  All I get now is a framework with an icon "torn letter" at the top left of the image. I checked my settings... no joy. The cursor is too much to the right place. I've been inserting images without problem until today 11/06/2014 update @ 18:00 at the v24.6.0
  However, I am able to copy the image to the Clipboard in my graphics program and paste it into the message body at the level of the cursor without problem. Something happened because of this update. Love of Thunderbird... need this bad feature. Difficulty and or advise as soon as POSSIBLE please?

  I answer myself. Despite the fact that I restarted Thunderbird twice as recommended, the problem continues as described. However, after making a stop with MS updates in the queue and them having been installed, the problem disappeared. Apparently, the start-up cold was part of the solution. Go figure. Any other experience never the initial problem as described?

  Ahh, I forgot... it is Windoze.

  I work with an API using HTTP to make calls to a server. I met an API call in the documetnation that uses the HTTP GET method with a message body. It seems that this is not supported by LV14 because I do not see an entry of message body for the LabVIEWHTTPClient.lvlib:GET.vi function. The POST methods and COULD appear to be banned for this API call, I a not found 405. I could be stuck with the help of GET.

  Certainly, this isn't recommended GET method - but it is not explicitly forbidden in the HTTP/1.1 specification. Is there a work around to submit an HTTP GET request to content? I have to use HTTP external DLL to achieve?

  Seems to be a problem on the server side?  Maybe I misunderstood what you were trying to get?

• Thunderbird deletes the messages from the server if I said not to do so.

  I use a POP3 server and have 'leave messages on the server - until I delete"checked but Thunderbird is still deleting messages from the server before my other e-mail viewer gets it.

  If my other program (from MR2ICE under OS2 on another machine) Gets the first messages, I'll see them on both machines.

  If Thunderbird 'em first I don't get them on the other machine, and, when I check via webmail, they aren't there.

  If you want to see messages on several machines, POP is not the best choice. You choose to use POP, or is it you imposed by the e-mail provider?

  I don't have a job here POP account to check with, but you can try with the option ' until I have delete ' unchecked? You doing anything with messages, such as moving them to another folder?

  I've never been confident with the way that ' until I have remove the ' works; If a message has been moved out of the Inbox to another folder, and you remove it, a request to delete the message always spread on the server?

  With IMAP, by moving a message to a folder in account to somewhere the IMAP server can not see it is actually a deletion; the server can no longer see the message, so syncs by removing its own copy of this message. I haven't checked through what a POP server is in similar circumstances.
