bogged down my PC

I recently tried to download Skype by the request of a parent, and I well it would be a great way to communicate. The download complete, and I noticed there PC is slower than usual. It is, I stopped for the night and turned on the next day. Therefore, my PC is so slow, kept turn the disc and I have noted what has been hogging resources, and it's Skype. So I uninstalled it and everything worked normally. I will never use this product again until I can be assured that it won't ruin my PC experience. I think I understood what ios means by bloatware. Please provide a clean version of it for a simple use of communication. If you have a version are for a company that needs Skype to do a hundred different functios, fine, create one for them. I can't use the one I downloaded. I'll have lookd for something else for my family to use in the meantime.

Skype as it is has a rich interface and many features that require a bit of memory these days. If you cannot increase your memory by recurreing process of removal or upgrade of RAM it is Skype for the Web in beta right now. Recently, when I start my computer for the day first, wuaudt.exe runs and really missed in my computer.  In the Task Manager, it shows that he uses a lot of memory with one of the many ongoing svchost.exe to run.  I got my computer set up to notify me when updates are available.  I studied this problem and found the only thing to do is to completely disable automatic updates.  I have disabled the automatic updates, disabled the automatic updates on the Services tab in msconfig and in services.msc I set automatic updates to the manual.  This seems to hold wuaudt.exe to run.  I read in one place that Microsoft publishes updates on the first and third Tuesday every month so I intend to make manual updates in these moments.  Does anyone know why wuaudt.exe is suddenly such a Devourer of memory? It seems to be a problem the first time time I turn on my computer (I turn off when not in use to save electricity).  If I turn it off and restart it later in the day, there is not a performance issue.  I have a Dell Dimension 5100C, Windows XP Pro SP3, 512 MB RAM, Pentium 4 3.00 Ghz processor.

I would like to be able to be informed of the critical updates when they are issued, but I don't want to not wuaudt.exe runs every day if it's going to bog down me.  Any ideas?

Now when I compile it, I am getting bogged down with an error message called: PLS-00201: identifier 'P_ERR_MESSAGE1' must be declared

Where do I feel bad? When I google, talk, or the variable is not set (which is not the case) or on the privileges (which is not the case that I compiled the same procedure with fewer parameters the week last in my schema). Any idea?

I have attached a screenshot as well. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I was not able to copy and paste the package specifications and the whole body, because its too too big. Hope you understand.

    ScreenHunter_22 Dec. 02 10.49.jpg

The problem is that you had declared him an OUT parameter p_err_message1. This setting is valid only inside the procedure. However, you tried to use it outdoors (during the call to the procedure). Declare and use a different variable to solve the problem.

    p_sendmail (p_sender_email => ' [email protected]'-, send an E-mail to the donor)

  • Every day bogged down: how to purge my Clipboard without closing illustrator?

I really need Illustrator to be consistently fast throughout the day.  The program quickly GET bogged down in less than an hour and starts to slow down. I guess it's because my Clipboard. I produce about 15 to 20 projects a day and sometimes open several libraries with 5-10 work plans. My solution is to have a daily timer to remind me to close the program and restart every hour. I also only keep vector images in my library. No imagery. I do not allow pixelation effects to apply to one of my libraries as they slow things way down. I have at least 5-7 other tactics to keep illustrator functioning. Even if I only have a single file open at the time, the Clipboard gets full quickly. I also treat my Macbook Pro as a motor. I do not keep all the files on the computer and use the libraries of files based cloud and external hard drives for 100% of all my files. I have a high-end graphics card that allows me to have 10 programs open at the same time, if I need to.  I never do well.

Illustrator is the only program that slows down after continuous use. This is my number one for my business program. I lose regularly one hour a day with my need to clear the Clipboard, close the program and restart the program several times a day.

No alternative workaround you can think? I'm debating buying another computer and tie them together and I have two programs illustrator open. Really want to spend the extra money.

do you need a little more RAM?

I understand that its all good at the beginning of a session, but perhaps she is responsible in all the tools and functions, you must use, it gets to the point were in fact you don't have enough ram to run along?

I thought cloud and libraries external is not helping, especially if you have the automatic backup / recovery tries to access the network files all the time.

you might do better to keep the files you are workign on a local drive?

I know laptop HARD drive are pretty slow (stock), except if you have PCIE or SSD equipped?

If you HDD, I would spend a quid on a SSD outside of all other settings that make you the computer work for your situation, the only upgrade makes a huge difference for almost everything. you get up an even greater still from there hump to a PCIE drive.

I currently have 2 copies of the Illustrator running at the same time, 19.1.0 and 19.2.1 just because they alternate between being totally useless and crashing waaaay too (GPU question google says), but it allows me to continue to work faster that one version bails out...

you might find an alternative version that works better, as I found that 19.1.0 is much more stable and perhaps another version wont drain resources such as your current version?

obviously be better for it to work, but maybe something to blunt pain, using an alternative version until you work out whats going on?

  • Updates take a large proportion of UC and bogged down the computer

    Hi all

last week, I watched 5 computers all suffer the same way, owners reported run very slowly for the past 2 weeks, I watched everyone had the same symptoms and the same temporary fix

in taskmanager commit total load was more than 600 MB and peak was over 1000 MB

guilty were svchost.exe and WUAUCLT. EXE using more than 150 MB mem each and still more virtual mem

the only way to get the pc working again normally was to turn off the automatic updates service and restart

all PC had xp and microsoft security essentials. they all had mbam and combofix scans

Dell pc old p4, 512 mb ram sp2 xp family, tried to install sp3 in vain

Reference Dell pc new c2d 1 GB ram xp home sp3

Reference celeron 512 ram computer Dell laptop xp home sp3

Computer HP laptop amd with 512 MB ram (xp and all updates have been installed on this about 3 weeks ago) xp home sp3

Reference Dell newish Office 512 MB of ram probably double heart pentium xp pro

I deleted the content of the downloads in the software distribution folder, but no difference

delete datastore.ebd (it was 170 MB), pc was going well for about 5 minutes, but then the same question returns (new datastore.ebd has 70 MB in size) pc is bearly usable, so disabling the automatic updates until I get a response from you

  • Color transparency strobe is bogged down my computer CPU

    Good afternoon

Recently, I have programmed an interactive floor plan that generates a transparent flashing color on top a png file imported. The flashing light is beautiful and exactly what I need, but I encountered some problems. I've referenced the thread 'color and transparent boolean' to help me with this program.

When I run the program of the CPU on my computer goes up to about 97 percent. After messing around with the calendar of the loop and some of these color gradient options, I can get up to about 40-50% CPU usage, but the end result looks almost as good as before. Also, I intend to have several rooms simultaneously flashing in the future, and only an indicator of the single room is causing this problem.

It is my goal to have the program running while using no more than 15-20% CPU. Is this possible?

Someone has suggestions to help the program to run without hogging all the CPU?

I'll post my program because I know this is helpful

(Also, if anyone has any suggestions to get the flashing rect and the graphics of the circle on the same plan of the fair, which would be much appreciated)

    Thank you very much

    I hope someone can help.
My system running in a weird way, which, for lack of a better term, "failed" every few seconds.
My processors boost all few seconds all the normal functions stop, essentially, even typing and move the mouse cursor. It started after the latest Automatic update has been installed. I noticed after a restart that 3 minutes after I choose my account and start all programs of initial commissioning, the problem starts again.
This also happens before choosing which account at startup under.
Safe mode does not exhibit this problem.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

    Option 1:

As the computer works fine in safe mode, the next step to try is start the computer to the boot to check what software is conflicting.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to run check and clean boot if you have the problem.

    i. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    User account control permission

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

II. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

III. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

IV. click the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box and then click Disable all.

    v. click OK.

VI. When you are prompted, click on restart.

VII. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

Check what third-party software is conflicting with the program and disable it or uninstall.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

I just bought a HP all-in-one computer and it is so bogged down and slow, I can hardly even typing this message.  I have not downloaded anything, but I hear it constantly running in the background.  It is almost impossible to hit, because the cursor is not yet facing my main features, the internet takes minutes to start, and there is no such thing as a quick email.  The movement of the cursor is SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW and jerky.  I thought I'd love this new computer, but I'm there hate.  Help!

  • Dllhost.exe surrogate COM slow down the computer using the memory

I could really use some help if anyone has the time. :-)
My computer behaves strangely since I made a restore point.
I did the restore point because I could not get online, oddly enough it turned out to be a loose wire.
Anyway, now there is an application that keeps popping up in my task manager using most of my cpu, so my
computer bogged down. It is named dllhost.exe COM surrogate and when I opened its location
He was in my folder windows32. It is not my services that I can see, but it seems to be bound to play
video or music files. I could be wrong.
I did the usual antivirus (avast free edition free antivirus and malwarbytes) analysis, I defragmented
my computer, I did a scan of system, I did a scan of the memory...  I can't understand.
    Any suggestions?
My computer has 16 GB of installed RAM and 1 TB HDD I am running Windows 7
    Professional 64-bit.
    Thank you in advance.  :-)

I did go to the task manager of windows, processes, sort them alphabetically by the description column, you can list by going to display and select column, and then down to the substitution of com and do a right-click and choose end process... you may need to do more than once... This will remove at least for awhile... it is mainly used to display thumbnail pictures in my photo folder... you can the delete permanently, but then you would not have miniature photos...

I see something that will significantly reduce your performance: the connection points. Click on System Preferences > users and groups > login items and take a look at this list. The drop box starts up with the computer, as is Google Drive. These are the memory and CPU hog. In fact, outside the iTunes Helper, this entire list is probably to have an effect on the performance of the system.

Try this: highlight each item, and then select the sign less down the list to remove. Restart the computer and run the EtreCheck again. I am betting, you will see a big improvement.

You can add items one by one to determine which ones really is you get bogged down backwards.

  • How fast your imac boots?

    Hi guys!

Just interested in how fast your iMac boots (as the minutes and seconds) until your first open application is fully sensitive? I end 2013 iMac 21.5 "2.7 GHz intel core i5, 8 GB of RAM, running El Capitan and it feels long enough. Also after the commissioning of the applications such as Chrome and utorrent open very slowly. After that, everything works fine.

I am curious and just started my Mac, a little old 21.5 inches mid-2010 i - Mac. I was curious because she feels slow to start sometimes, however, I was pleasantly surprised with the Dell laptop, my employer has provided me with (but it is bogged down with a lot of security software). The Mac has a 3.06 GHz core i3, 12 GB of RAM and runs OS X 10.11.6. It is a standard unit of an Apple store close to November 2010.  It took 88 seconds to load the office then another 8 seconds to load a web page. Then I opened the mail and I was 1 min 43 seconds by the mail of synchronized time. It doesn't have a HD 7200 RPM, which helps, but an SSD would be probably faster (I thought to start from an external SSD but the processor is getting pretty old, I can be close to need/want of a new machine). The Dell takes a little more than twice as long. Up to what speed (slow?) your machine starts?
