  The computer I'm is a Department that usually connects to a server. The profile data is actually stored via this server, and when I lived the problems, I was at home and that it was not connected to the server said.   Leave Firefox runs. In the Finder, open the library folder in your home folder (not the library folder at the top level of your boot volume.) Enter Time Machine and restore the following:

  Library/Preferences/org.mozilla.firefox.plist

  Restart Firefox
