• Cannot get my pictures in the order I want.

  I can't get my photos in the order I want.  I do this:

  (1) select the photos I want in the main file using a color filter. Then, I select the filter to display a selection of photos.

  (2) I rearrange the photos in the order I want by drag-and - drop in the "film" at the bottom of the screen.

  (3) I select the photos newly built for export. If I export to a new file the new photos in the new reveert file to the old order. Strangely, if I have the cursor on the images of the film of the new file, they are numbered in my custom command but physically they were returned back to the order that they were in before I gave up and dragged.

  What should I do on custom order my photos and export them to a new file that will recognize this order? I've done this plenty before but suddenly something goes wrong.

Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > general > use hardware acceleration when available. Options > Advanced. All these parameters/additional custom modules can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed to normal mode of Firefox to check if an extension, theme or hardware acceleration is causing issues.

• I just downloaded Firefox and the command 'bookmark this page' does not appear in the bookmark icon.

  When I downloaded, I also choose to import IE Favorites and they all appeared. When I opened the bookmark icon, the "mark this page" command is missing, so I can't to bookmark a page. Everything else seems normal. It is an old computer running XP.

  Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you are using the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).

  You can see the difference if you use Alt + F to open the file menu and other menus such as the Edit (Alt + E) menu and the menu bookmark (Alt + B) and compare that to what you see, if you use the mouse to open the menu after the bar of menus visible by typing Alt or by pressing F10.

  • "To bookmark all tabs" (Shift + Ctrl + D) is no longer present in the menu bookmarks unless you open the bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
  • "To bookmark all tabs" are available through the context menu of a tab on the tab bar.
  • 'Bookmark this Page' is accessible through the context menu of the browser page.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  • In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

  I can't see the option 'bookmark this page' when I go to "Bookmarks" - I now have no way of bookmarking! The options are only: subscribe to this page; to bookmark all tabs; organize bookmarks; bookmarks toolbar; share on facebook; and modules to bookmark!

  ~ ~ Red:Safe Mode~ ~
  You may need to use questions Troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode (click on "Safe Mode" and reading) to locate the problem. Firefox Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that disables Extensions and some other features of Firefox. If you are using a theme, place you in the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > Themes before start Safe Mode. When you enter Safe Mode, do not check all the items in the entry window, click simply on continue mode without failure. A test to see if the problem you are experiencing is fixed.

  If the problem does not occur in mode without failure, then disable all your Extensions and Plug-ins, and then try to find out who is causing by allowing both the problem reappears. You MUST close and restart Firefox after EACH change via file > restart Firefox (on Mac: Firefox > Quit). You can use 'Disable all add-ons' on the start safe mode window.
