Bookmarks is no longer a function of personal records on C:\Drive
I have 79 personal folders (in main folder) containing more than 225 Favorites URL on my C:\drive. For some unknown reason, clicking on any bookmark now results in a pop-up window indicating that "Windows cannot find http://---". I don't know what changed to cause this problem. All bookmarks worked until today.

By using personal records for sounds in the control panel
When I try to assigned personally recorded sounds in Control Panel sounds (you've Got mail, file made, etc.) some of them play, but some do not. All are open with Real Player. Can anyone help?

IM 10 atm installation initiated Preview and I want to know: is it easy to use the dual-boot functionality, if I have 2 hard drives? I have win7 on my main drive (SSD) and I want to install 10 preview initiated a new partition on my 500 GB hard drive, I created. I'll have to change smth in the bios menu, or I will be asked to choose between win7 and win10 in a menu after boot?

I'm about to reorganize my hard drive with my personal documents/music etc. on a separate partition.
I know that you can move the position of real fault of your personal records from in their properties by selecting "move".
I know also you can instead add a folder to the library 'music' etc. and change the default save location in the new folder.
Are there and the advantages or disadvantages of do on the other?
I heard that some libraries controls have been hidden in Windows 8. I don't want to get used to things go and then find out that they removed the feature in Windows 10
Libraries are (at least now) always in Windows 10, but they continue to be larger, and only available to show as an option. Probably because it is complex for a basic user understand the difference between the local personal folders (called Shell Folders), or the views of library (more like the search results) and OneDrive online storage. To make it clearer where your files are really, they abandoned the view hybrid library and explicitly indicate to the user where the files are: 'This PC' or 'OneDrive. There is no gray area, unless you opt to go back on as a power user libraries.
Honestly, I think I would re-do just records of the shell, as you wish, because it seems that libraries are going this way. And pointing than those to the new location still work with libraries so that they continue to exist.

Bookmarks Firefox no longer displays the number of selected files
I've just updated to FF 37 to 40, and the ability to see the number of URLS, I select in the bookmarks view seems to have disappeared. Instead, I have a bigger box of descriptions (which I don't need) I have to minimize.
Let me know how I can activate the count of selected bookmarks? Thank you.
Always works for me in the construction of the current beta version (40.0b7) if I select several items in the right pane in Manager bookmarks (library).
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

In the past, when I tried to bookmark a Web page, I had the opportunity to choose where I wanted to the stored bookmark. If I chose "Choose", I would be presented with a list of all my files. No more! Now, if I select 'Choose', I am presented with only three options: "Bookmarks Toolbar", "Bookmarks Menu" and "Unsorted Bookmarks."
Firefox continues to become more and more difficult to use and seems to be less stable. I fell that I am forced to migrate to Google Chrome. What is going on?
BTW, Firefox prevented support.mozilla.org of asking me to install the software on my computer, so I wasn't able to automatically add troubleshooting information.

My Bookmark menu no longer displays the icons for sites, only a white box
Previously, when I chose "Bookmarks" from the menu of Firefox, the sites appearing usually had an icon or logo in front of the name of the site. Now, it's just a square white or white.

The syntax Checker bug with long PHP functions.
I have two differrent pages that give the same type of bugs when opening the page with Dreamweaver CS5. I built a web application with PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL and Javascirpt. There are many forms throughout the site and many forms are very long. For these specific pages that give a syntax error HTML form is inside a PHP for loop to repeat a desired number of times. I checked that there is not a syntax error, and the page works perfectly without php, html, css or javascript errors. The syntax error goes away if I close the loop PHP earlier in the script, but then I have actually a syntax with PHP and dreamweaver error says my code is perfect?

but I know full and well that there is no error in this line of code or the code. There seems to be a bug with the syntax checker in Dreamweaver CS5. I don't know if this error would show most recent Dreamweaver versions, like everything I have is CS5. Thanks for the help of anybodies that can verify this bug or spot an error in my code.
If I change the "wrong" line of the code of

Then the syntax error will disappear in Dreamweaver, but PHP error: "{Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /path_to_my_file/my_file.php on line 499" will then appear

Recently, I had a disk failure warning hard immenent and proceeded to back up personal files on a flash drive. I then did a system restore and everything seems fine. Then I tried to restore my backup file personal of the flash player and the result has been an icon on the desktop "shortcut to system recovery files" but I can't get my files? what I am doing wrong?
Thank you for taking the time to answer, but I was no longer able to get into windows or anything else. The hard drive failed completely, and I decided to invest in a new laptop instead of the cost of the repairs. They had a special Christmas... good price. Thanks anyway for your help.

Personal problem with the drive (1 TB) - disc now not recognized by PC after 4 months of use
I bought this 1 TB PMD in July 2010 for my HP M7250uk with Windows XP desk top. This replaced my previous 320 PMD. It has worked well up to now and all of a sudden the drive is not recognized by my PC. I even tried it external connection with USB and electric connection, but still the same. My previous 320 GB drive still works today well using HP media Bay. Called HP support twice and calls for more half an hour, but not much progress to solve the problem. If someone has an idea of what could be the problem and how to solve it - would appreciate any help. It's very very frustrating.

Opening of the PMD will void the warranty by HP. If it is still under warranty, then request an RMA and send it back.
But, I'd be curious to know the model number, and firmware has been in this case. (It's just me). RETURNED!
This problem has been known, as woodmaster1 notes, for a long time, but it relates to their firmware and specific model numbers. Personally, I have 2 affected readers ST31000340AS (capacity of 1 t), there are "bricks" and the other has "thuds". Both drives are under warranty, and I will send both back for repair.

In case your application on six drives of 1 t, I only have 1 installed on my HP8100CTO. I use the other via a docking station ESATA external, cloning of my installed drive and transfer videos to the Dell 518 (also using the ESATA docking station). Other readers to protect my HP of any possible disaster that I change the hardware and try Win7 ultimate upgrade.

Hello. My Bookmark star icon does not read my favorites. I can always use it to record the new bookmarks, but I don't see the 'old'. My Favorites are still there, but the star remains white when I open them and shows them as not saved. Thanks in advance for any help!
Some added addons toolbar and anti-virus are known to cause
Firefox issues. Disable all of them.When the star is to check the Bookmarks Manager, he must control
all the entries in the file. It could be that the bookmark of the webpage has been deleted.
Or the sea address have changed. I'm not aware of entries to the
bookmarks being blocked, unless you have something blocking the changes.
