  I got this yesterday after the 3.6.4 problem upgrade. I'm not sure if I saw all the things you did, but I have def lost all bookmarks and the back button. I fixed it by:
  1. go to the Firefox profile directory, which for me is here but 1st bit will be different for you as mine work specific:

  C:\Documents and Settings\U049177\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\soez0lvk.default
  2 delete places.sqlite and places.sqlite - journal

  3. start Firefox (you should have the back button now works but not Favorites, he recreated to these 2 files)

  4. in the menu, bookmarks and then organize bookmarks, then button import and backup, then restore, then select a day to restore from. You should now have your backups Firefoxes bookmarks.

  We have published a 19.0.1 hotfix that resolves this problem in discussion on this topic. Please apply the patch to your creative cloud application. The creative cloud application checks the update once a day, so you may see the update immediately.  If you want to force the check for an update at the beginning please logout and log back into the creative Cloud application.

• I recently lost the ability to 'see' the bar "File, Edition, bookmarks, history, tools, and help" from the top of my screen, as well as the 'Start' button at the bottom of the screen.

• Refresh wiped out all the bookmark and browser settings

  Firefox suggested I do a Refresh to speed up the browser etc. I did it and everything has been wiped out. Firefox logo appears in the start bar but when I click on it see no firefox browser, totally empty tabs.   When you reset Firefox and a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, data form) are automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved on the desktop to a folder "Old data Firefox".
  Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, Pref.) that you have made are lost and must be redone.

  It is possible to retrieve the data from the old profile, but be careful not to copy the files corrupted to avoid transporting more problems.

  Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

  If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.

  Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

  It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  We bought a new laptop to Windows 8. I used Windows Easy Transfer to transfer data from the old laptop to the new laptop. Now, my wife, saved bookmarks passwords and other custom settings do not appear on the new laptop.

  I don't know anything about Windows 8 but if you have Firefox installed and running there is a simple method to find your profile: let Firefox for you using the option of troubleshooting as explained in this article

  I imagine that the profile of your wife should be in a similar situation to yours, but under a different username.

  If you get the Import Wizard, then that means that Firefox did not find a profiles.ini file that specifies all the profiles.

  Another way to get around this is to reserve an IP address from the router for a specific device.  That works too, but is more difficult to teach people to do because of the variety of interfaces on routers.

  Once that tell you the printer to ask 192.168.1.200, you are finished.  Your laptops and office will be able to find the printer with its new IP address.  If they can't let me know...

• Lost file - need help

  Is there a temporary file type that is created by first Pro CS5 when a video is captured from a camcorder? I created a new project and captured the video, but apparently (and accidentally) closed CS5 without saving the video file. When I opened the project, the video file was not there. Unfortunately, I have not the original soundtrack. I was hoping that my file recovery software may be able to recover the file if I could identify it by file type. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The media will always be on your hard drive, simply to find.  Check your current settings of zero for the video disc.  Chances are the real files are there, and you can just re-import the them in the project.

  I have attached a screenshot showing what, in my view, are missing icons, as well as the "overflow" icon that may appear at the end of the main toolbar. Do you find the missing icons on a list of infinity?

  If this is not the case, they could have been moved off the toolbars or on a different toolbar. You can try to use customize to put back them in their place. This article describes how to use customize them: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars

  If the icons are not found, you can use the "Restore Defaults" button at the bottom of the Customize tab to reset your toolbars on the original icons, as well as some changes made by modules.
