Boost registry Uniblue System Tweaker, Driver Genius Professional, interpreter driver

Should I (or even at all) or Driver Genius Uniblue registry? First, I googled then downloaded these products with the hope that it would solve my problems, they did not. It has been resolved here in one of these forums and Microsoft Fix It. I'll then start here!

Hello

1 could you please elablorate on the issue that you are facing?

As far as drivers are concerned I would recommend to use the Device Manager and download the drivers directly from the manufacturer's website.

I hope this helps.

  • Boost registry Uniblue. Concerns of scanner driver.

I downloaded the Uniblue software. When I tried to update driver scanners, a message indicates that this software is not compatible with the windows logo test. He asks if I want to continue.  I can continue or are there consequences?

not sure if the uniblue software is any good or safe.

Basically, you can always visit the place of origin of your equipment and search for updated and software drivers to install yourself.

for example, you can no longer go to your scanners homesite and look up of information page that has manuals, faq, software update, drivers, hotfixes and patches.

in all cases, something has passed the microsoft certification, it does mean that the driver is dangerous.

the microsoft certification program was essentially a trick by microsoft to have the manufacturer pay microsoft for test drive of their drivers and microsoft would then, quote unquote, approve the pilot and give the microsoft logo / seal of approval.   Maybe, the program has merits, but turns out be a bust for microsoft because many thought that he was trying to exert control over the products of the manufacturer.

If you are having a difficult time with installing drivers, then just go open systems of control panel and go to the Hardware tab.

There is a section on the driver signing and ensure that it is set to "ignore".

  • Hi, when I open my Booster registry Uniblue PC offers things to do. Is this a virus or I might have to believe?

Salvation is uniblueregistry booster a virus? I'm trying to remove it from my computer, but vain? What can I do?

No, this isn't a virus, but like all registry cleaners, it should not be used.

Registry cleaning programs are * all * snake oil. The registry cleaning is not necessary and dangerous. Let alone register and do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and what software record cleaning providers are trying to you convince to have used the registry entries is not really make you hurt.

The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit it may have.

    and also http://blogs.technet.com/markrussinovich/archive/2005/10/02/registry-junk-a-windows-fact-of-life.aspx

Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns against the use of registry cleaners has never said that they always cause problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry cleaner and never had a problem with it.

The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it the essential * risk * to have a problem. And since there is no advantage to using a registry cleaner, running the risk is a very bad deal.

    A few things to try...

    • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
    • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
    • If Reader opens in itself, try to disable the Safe_mode in the registry; Download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
    • It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

Try to install the driver manually if automatic installation method does not work, because this driver is not in favor of the ID you have posted.

  • W520 - Base system device driver does not

    Greetings.

This morning at the start of my ThinkPad W520, the player no longer works. A glance in the (Windows 7, 64-bit) Device Manager shows the 'Base system device' and points out that "the drivers for this device are not installed." Trying to get Windows Installer natively drivers does not work. Some googling shows others with similar problems in the past; recommendations include installing a card reader driver Ricoh for Windows XP or Vista; It did not work. Other drivers available include 8ass82ww.exe and 8axv51ww.exe - these don't work. Installation of the own Support Center Lenovo software shows that the Base system device driver is not installed. I can't find a way to install it. I tried installing driver exe files and searching the same files using the browse-for-the window Windows files during the installation of the drivers for the Base system device.

Seriously, * beep *? I lost more than two hours on Sunday morning trying to solve this problem. It worked yesterday. I did install new software crazy, or any software besides. Why this happens and more importantly, how can I FIX it?

This morning, ran Windows automatic update; I don't know if the updates were designed to the card reader, but the driver is now installed and the operation of the device. Too many updates to list them all, but thank you all for your help. Between the time I opened this thread and now probably I rebooted my machine 30 times and tried all combinations of drivers + restart. Then, poof, this morning, it is fixed.

  • T420 W7 Base system device driver does not

    Hello

After reinstalling W7 the lenovo Solution Center complained by saying that the system device driver does not work.

I saw that the SD card reader was not working and so I covered the missing pilot was that one.

The Lenovo page I downloaded the driver for the card Multi for W7 and T420 port. After installing the message disappeared and SD cards have been recognized correctly.

However, after restarting the system, after some time, the message appeared again and the card reader no longer works.

I have install again and the same happened. He worked and after restarting two has stopped working.

If find this mysterious altogether. I wonder if anyone knows how to solve this problem.

I managed to solve the problem. Just in case anyone has the same problem I explain here how I did, although I'm not sure that this solution is universal.

1 install the drivers from the Lenovo site.

    2. once the system starts to complain from the Device Manager where it says "Base system device" with a question mark. Then disable this device but do not uninstall the driver.

3 reboot and it will be fixed.
