  In my school, we used proxies to connect to internet. Recently, there has been a change, and now we use a proxy requiring authentication proxy with username and password. The problem is none students using windows can access the internet, because there is no box appearing to ask us the details when we try to connect to the internet.   All requests must have an authentication scheme defined.

  • Create authentication features in a package in a DB schema and grant privileges of execution thereon to the others.
  • Create the authentication scheme in the main application.
  • Create authentication schemes in other applications or copies of the program in the main application by using the copy and subscribe option in the wizard. These programs will now reference the master schema and automatically to reflect the changes.

  This is the approach that I think: 1) alter the flow of messages Proxy Service-> add a pair of Pipeline-> replace app with username-> call Business Service.

  You were missing the namespaces in xpath associated header.

  In your request, soap, security namespaces, UsernameToken, etc... are related to the target namespace. Below is the reason why:
  xmlns = "http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd" >

  So that means all the xml tags that don't have not one namespace linked to it belongs to the targetNamespace and where they must be accessible with it.

  So set a namespace as WSSE as http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd and then use the underside of xpath.

  * $header / wsse:Security/wsse:UsernameToken/wsse:Username/text() *.

  It should work.
