Brand new HP 2000 running very slow and delay horribly
I just bought a brand new HP 2000-2b19wm a little more than a week, and first on the first commissioning initial he did very well apart from the fact that windows 8 and is very difficult to learn and navigate. I've noticed since the first boot of the computer is awfully slow. Takes forever to load firefox after clicking on it, horribly slow to load any page.
I'm in the process right now to remove Norton of it and all the other programs that I feel as tho have no need to be there to see if it helps with the performance of the machine.
I live whomevers help on some options or steps I can do to avoid or correct what's wrong with this brand new machine! I read online that a system restore would not be a bad idea as well.
Thanks for any help.
Shannon
Hello
If the computer is infected with the virus, making the system restore would remove all infected files. Pick up the virus deleted, you need to reinstall the operating system using the system recovery.

iPad 2 running very slow and freezing
My iPad2 worked very slow and freezing. It is quite frustrating and I hope someone has a tip or a solution for my problem. I've updated my ios and right now I'm in ios 9.3
Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.
- Press and hold the sleep/wake button
- Press and hold the Home button
- Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.
Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings
If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.
Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

Mac running very slow and stall
Hello
Grateul for any help you can give. I searched the forums for advice and have tried several solutions but without success so far.
I have a macbook pro, which is 3 1/2 years. Used primarily for surfing the internet and word processing. For the past 3 weeks, that it worked if slow, it is almost useless to try to use it at all. All applications take a long time to load and even typing has a delayed response. Safari crashes frequently. As mentioned above, I searched the forums and followed the advice given for example using disk utility to repair disk and permissions of the drive (have been several attempts to realize that he has appeared to expire several times, but I came to the conclusion, with no improvement) / reboot in recovery mode / stop and hold shift/alt/cmd/delete etc.. Nothing I found so far has helped it's why I started a new thread asking for advice (I understand very well I'm not the first person to ask why my mac is slow!).
Information that could help find a solution, a year or two ago I had to install sophos and tuneupmymac to access the e-mails from work. I thought that the problem may be connected to either one of them so I uninstalled sophos, but I failed to uninstall tuneupmymac because advice online on the website of tuneupmymac do not appear to work (the option Uninstall does not appear where it is shown in the guide, and I can't find anywhere else), nor the advice I've seen elsewhere (when I type in the path to file to Library/preferences in ' ") go to the folder"it says not 'found'). The only other explanation I could think was that I could have picked up a virus from a memory stick friend used to transfer pictures about 4 weeks ago. The problems started shortly after, so it would make sense in terms of timing. Otherwise, I tried to complete the upgrade to El Capitan, as I thought that might help, but it can't seem to finish right now (probably because of issues that make my mac to run slowly).
Am at a bit of a loss if it's a last cry for help before considering in the store! All opinions are appreciated. If I missed the obvious information, apologies - I'm a total novice. Provide any additional information that might help identify the problem.
Thank you very much

I suggest you to install the updates one by one and reboot the computer after installing each update to verify that update is causing the problem.
Also note the updates that you install on the computer.

Do not install any driver updates offered by Windows Update. Find them in the manufacturer's website instead.

Satellite Pro M10 suddenly ran very slow and freezes
Two weeks ago, that my SP M10 is suddenly very slow and freeze. After a reset, it began to check the HARD drive, which lasted about 8 hours, and several repair lost clusters to files. But the student pilot did not run faster. I reformatted the HDD to FAT32 (NTFS has not worked) and reinstalled Windows XP. First, it seemed to work very well, but a few hours later, it freezes again.
After 10-20 min, I got access. This has not changed so far. CHKDSK another also lasted several hours and again showed some lost clusters. I think that my HARD drive is damaged, but how can I see if there a lot of bad sectors? Can I fix it? Can I possibly replace my 40 GB HARD drive with a larger HARD drive capacity?
Are there restrictions or can I use any brand?
Hello
I had the same problem with my Satellite 1900. The result was the HARD drive damaged (bad sectors). I tried to fix it with different tools, but without success. The best solution is to swap the HARD drive.
Good bye
