  It is possible that there is a problem with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.

  Delete the sessionstore.js file [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

  If you see files sessionstore-# .js with a number in the left part of the name as sessionstore - 1.js then delete those as well.
  Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and tab groups and opened and closed the tabs (back) to get lost, so you will need to create them again (take note or bookmarks).

  I had this same problem in Photoshop CS3 last year and found a solution but don't remember to apply it to the PSE8!

  By double clicking on any image in Bridge, to open by default in the preview image. I can ctrl - click on the image and select the application I want to open it with, but there must be a permanent solution.

  Strangely enough, last night when I got PSE8 was not there... everything open in PSE8. I wonder what I did to cause it to happen?

  Now I have problems with Bridge CS6 again.  The 64-bit and 32-bit suddenly have the behavior of gel on the launch.  I get the open application window, but no icons inhabit, and I can't do anything in the interface.  Not even close the application.  I have to use Windows Task Manager to quit the application by force.

  Lately when I added the Mozilla's Firefox icon in the launch bar (on the far left of the taskbar), all open tabs were stacked (accumulated one above the other) in a stack is large or larger than the other launch bar icons (I opted for each application of small size).   Well, you purge the Cache?

  If not, did you go to the preferences, go to the caching and the last option is to purge the Cache.

  Also @Debbie: you could try to rebuild settings. To do this off bridge and then restart Bridge. However, having fingers on shift-Option-control at the start of Bridge. Keep until a window offering to reset preferences, purge entire thumbnail Cache and reset Standard workspaces. I suggest you choose the first two.

  And Abdul, you might want to try that as well.

  There is no way to do it automatically. You can add a button or hyperlink on your pages which accesses the navto://relative/reset and which returns the contents of the first page, first article, but it is not automatic.
