• Aironet 1142 not broadcasting the SSID

  I configured the device manually, not even using quick or Express security configuration then... it's possible that I missed something.

  Anyway, here's the problem. Although the SSID is configured as 'AP1', this SSID is not among the networks available on the client computer.

  The connection configured in the group policy for the customer, should happen actually automatically, based on the SSID, but because the SSID is not broadcast, connection fails as well.

  The Aironet is among the available networks 'Other network' and if I click on "connect" I am asked to enter the SSID-> AP1

  Although fashionable, the error message displays (unable to connect to the network, or something to that effect), the laptop * fact * connect once I have close this window. Access to the network is complete and functional - I can ping other hosts, etc...

  I would post screenshots, but not knowing what parameter is missing or incorrect, I must print dozens. So here's the sh run out of the AP obtained via telnet (just below). Can someone tell me what is missing? It's a test network so all information is 'real' (nothing has changed for privacy):

  Since you have hidden the SSID name, you will need to manually enter the name of the SSID on devices out there it having to connect.

  FYI, hiding the SSID can see that a good not, however in most cases with scanner users still find hidden SSID names. It's an effect placebo for users.

  I am looking for an external backup for 2 computers drive.  I have a desktop iMac and MacBook Air.  I like the idea of being able to back up my MacBook Air wireless, but I need to make sure that it will work the way I need to.

  I already have a wireless router that works well for me, I don't need the time Capsule to act as a router. I'm just needing a wireless backup drive.  So, the question is, can I use the only time Capsule as a storage device for backup of wifi or do I also have to use it as a wifi router?  My fear is that the router service is not as good as the router, I currently have.  I live in a big House of 2 floors, making it very difficult to receive a strong signal throughout the House.

  Time Capsule need to connect to your router/modem existing using wired Ethernet wired, permanent.

  If you plan to use the time Capsule to back up your Mac with the help of the application Time Machine on every Mac, the Mac will have to save on the wireless signal Time Capsule for the process to be officially supported by Apple.

  While it is possible to turn off wireless on the Time Capsule and try to save it to your existing wireless network... and it pourrait work... but there will be no Apple support backup problems... so it would be a good idea to plan to use Time Capsule wireless backup purposes.

  YYou can do multiple clips at once, or you can make one and copy and paste other attributes. It depends on the program, but usually video is rated in sequence by sequence, unless the shot is repeated.

  I'm writing a routine of LabView to read a value from a specific cell in an EXCEL spreadsheet file. I would like to draw the value then spend the following in the file EXCEL file.  In one of the forums I found this LabView VI that works to read a cell value in a single EXCEL file called Read_Value_From_Excel.JPG

  I tried to modify the program by adding a function for loop and list of the folder as shown in Read_Value_From_Excel_LM2. JPG.  This file gives me an error saying 'Incorrect function in Read_Value_From Excel_LM2'.

• Activation of the States of reversal for multiple items

  I got Photoshop buttons with a thin active rollover State but I would like something added.  I have a text under my button and hold the button and the text to activate their States of reversal in tandem. If the user will fly over the text or image, two States of reversal should activate.  Now, I could go back and add text to the real photoshop document, but in my case, it would be better to keep it in its own text box.

  Matt wants to do cannot be done in Photoshop and the command button Photoshop place in Muse. He wants to have the button States individual that you create in Photoshop and more he wants that added text objects. It would be several objects act in unison with each State Overview, including web based searchable text objects. I don't think it's possible in the Muse right now.

  I tried to find a way to do this kind of thing by using the status button and Widget to experiment with composition, slideshow and tool tip widgets. It does not seem possible now. My hang up is just coming up with a way to make rollover buttons where each rollover State is its own separate custom image and that the image can have metadata web searchable, and tooltips applied. You can't do if you simply fill the bottom of a rectangle button widget or report with a specific image. 'Properties of Image' in the menu drop-down control is not available for pictures, set as background fills. Basically, if I want to look very fined tuned to the typography of the buttons (which often means to convert them to SVG or PNG images) I can not apply rollover effects to them if I want to apply metadata web searchable, and bubbles of text alternative for them.

  The selection of several relationship lines in a diagram of LDM created with an earlier version (4.0.2.840 and perhaps earlier too well but I have not tried), straighten lines is now grayed out and not available. It is activated when I select a relationship line. It happens that LDM non-relational diagrams (i.e. in diagram relational, I can select several lines of FK constraint and straighten the lines can be used).

  This behavior is also now seen with v4.0.2.840 (when I load a design created with this same version), where it is used to straighten the lines on several front lines. I certainly would have noticed this if present behaviour earlier, since it is such a waste of time. I think that it has appeared since the installation of 4.1.0.866.

  On a new design created with 4.0.2.840 or 4.1.0.866, the usual behavior of allowing to straighten the lines on several lines is fine. The problem appears only when loading existing diagrams of LDM.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated,

  The feature you're looking for is called WLAN substitute in versions 4.x WLC.

  Allowing substitution WLAN

  By default, all defined WLAN transmission on the controller access points. However, you can use WLAN editable to select WLAN is transmitted and who are not on a per access point basis. For example, you can use WLAN to control override goes where in the guest WLAN network or you can use it to disable a specific WLAN in a certain area of the network.

  If you use Microsoft MN - 700 router see link below and follow the steps.

  MN-700 Base Station Configuration Guide

  Download the guide and open page 3 that contains instructions for recording in the router. Page 16 has also the steps to configure the router to broadcast the SSID

  If in case you use a Microsoft MN - 700 router, I suggest you to provide exact model name to get more information about the issue.

  Broadcast your SSID.  Not to broadcast is not a security measure.  Not at all.  It is free on the internet that can read your SSID that you stream or not.  Read more here.

  Use WPA or WPA2 (not WEP, which can also be broken with freeware) encryption with a password strong and enjoy more security and less hassle you have now.

• WiFi does not connect if the SSID is not broadcast.

  I've updated to Sierra this afternoon. Everything seemed fine after the update. After dinner, my MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inches, beginning 2013) would not connect to Wifi. I reduced to a few things.

  It wouldn't connect the 5 GHz n If the SSID has been hidden. If I admitted the SSID to shown, it would connect without problems. It would connect to the 2 GHz band, even with the hidden SSID.

  I did the typical SMC reset and reset the NVRAM. I deleted the files related wifi and restarted the router and the MBP. I'm obviously on now and the speed seems normal with no dropouts. I can't hide the SSID now and will continue to work until he's asleep; No dice after that without reactivation SSID broadcast.

  Any thoughts?

  I have a new 55HX929 and tried to connect to my wifi with its built-in wireless adapter. I do not broadcast my network SSID the router for security and privacy. The searched TV network, does not, and then it asks to enter the SSID. Then, it saves the information and trying to connect but fails. If I enable SSID broadcast on the router and then the tv connects fine but I don't have to do. My tivo with its usb wireless adapter works fine with the SSID broadcasts do not when I configure the network settings. On the same stand as the TV with the power of the signal fine. I am currently using a wireless connected to the ethernet jack TV bridge to work around the problem, but it's a waste when the tv should work with a standard network configuration.

  Reading sortiesdvd.com, people have the same problem with NX720 and Sony Google Internet tv. So it seems to be a common problem with Sony games.

  I tried online support chat, and they were not able to help. Everything they told me to do was reset the router and tv which does not help. I don't think they understood that a SSID came from how they responded to my questions.

  Can we get a fix for this?
