  I'm trying to grant access filter to an Essbase application users in 11.1.2.1
  
  Shared Services, I am right-mouse-click on the application under the EssbaseCluster-1 node and selecting 'Assign Access Control', but no users don't appear when I click on the button "search". I have already configured some users with access filter HSS, but without success.

  Users access on one level essbase server role, if not try to assign this role to one of them and see if it helps.

  I'm using Windows Vista and my problem is the following.

  Even if I disable FilterKeys, whenever I start my computer, filter keys are enabled again.
  This causes me to use the on-screen keyboard to connect (my keyboard is disabled), then I have to go to control panel - easy access and disable FilterKeys. Once I disabled it, I can use my keyboard.

  You can imagine that this is really boring to do this each time I restart my computer.

  I tried to change the registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\StickyKeys--> Flags = 507, and it did not work. (also tried value 506).

  Suspicion, support, tip will be really appreciated.

• Browser access to E3000

  I have a Linksys E3000 wireless router. It works fine, but I want to see its settings. When I was with my old XP machine, I could connect to my router using Firefox to http://192.168.0.1 and see or change the settings, I've wanted to. Then I got a new desktop computer with Windows 7 64-bit (no wi - fi on it). I withdrew my old XP machine. I don't have reinstall my Cisco s/w. My wireless router still works fine. But I can't have my E3000 via my browser (Firefox) using this IP address. All I get is the message to reset the connection.

  My E3000 is configured as an access point. I have other wireless devices, connection, but not my new machine W7. My network is configured as network, Internet access type.  I use Trend Micro Titanium.

  How can I connect to my router now that I'm on W7 64-bit?

  If you opened to the top of the router configuration page when connecting the computer with BEFSR81 router
  If this is the case then connect the computer on the E3000 router. Check the IP address and default gateway, then try to open the configuration page of the router with the default gateway...

  You can search for the IP address and the default gateway in the following way:

  Click on the Start button...
  Select all programs accessories---> it will be all see guest...
  The type there "ipconfig"...

  Is this "working as intended", or any who was able to give access to a user?

  We have studied the need for authentication of users and it turns out that for the most part vi-admins use Navigator (which in fact, they are the hearer target the browser); Since vi-admins use credentials of Directors, we have prioritized other features they can benefit (user define Services for example), due to only set the read access.

  In 2.0 even if we intend to introduce a function exportability, if an admin could export the data in which other users can see. I hope that this will meet your need.

  I had recently several pop ups on a site I visited. I ran malware bytes and cleaned the system. Right after it happened, I was not able to visit HTTP sites. My browsers (Safari and Firefox) will be connect to secure sites (HTTPS), but I get the error message:

  Unable to connect

  Firefox can't establish a connection with the server at___

  I ran some virus scans and no viruses were found. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled a clean version. I changed the DNS settings to open DNS. I can't always on HTTP sites.

  Remove any tools module security, any tools anti malicious add-on, all anti-virus add-on security add-on tools tools, any network add-on, optimization tools, the module dopants or cache-cleaning module or the module system - removals by the removal instructions optimization respective sellers - and then disable or remove add-ons Safari and Firefox Add-ons redemarrer restart in Safe Mode to refresh caches boot, then try again.

  Additional security tools, malware and adware can and variously have caused this problem.

  If this fails, after the release of Etrecheck here and someone can take a look.

  I want o merger under two conditions in the unique filter, anyone implimented as below,

  1 dimension BUSINESS_UNIT Member IDESCENDANTA (XXXX) users can see all departments for these BU (IDESCENDANTA (XXXX).

  2 BUSINESS_UNIT dimension member, user can see only a part of the Department as IDESCENDANTS (DEPERTMENTXX) with this combination.

  These conditions, I want to single filter, everyone had this type of requirement before, if you please give me your suggestions to impliment this.

  1. Yes, you must create a separate group for each filter.

  2. Yes, but it depends.

  (In this case access filter 1 which has access to all departments crashing / includes access filter 2 which has access only to a single Department.)

  See below example for more details

  Example:

  Filter_1:access all products

  @idescendant ("product"), @idescendant ("market") ","jun2013","loc", @idescendant ("Account")

  Filter_2: Access only to a single product and a market

  "Prod1", "Inida', 'jun2013', 'loc', 'usd', 'cost '.

  Case 1: If you include the two filters to a group, then--> Filter_2 has access to only one produces "prod1" but Filter_1 has access to all products. Therefore access _1 filter replaces Filter_2 access.

  Case 2: Filter _1 has access only to the LOC but Filter_2 has access to both LOC and USD. So including the two filters to a group allows access to both the currency.

• Computer seems to be connected to the internet but cannot access web pages

  It says its connected to the internet and it can download the automatic updates, but when I open internet explore or mozilla or browser accesses a web page.

  The problem does not change if it connected to a hard line or wireless.

  The computer is a Latitude D620 on windows xp, if that helps.

  What happens when you try?

  If I had to guess, I would say it is actually Apple which is preventing your BB device to do what you want. The BB browser is very very good, but nothing is 100% compatible... There are just too many variables. And when businesses are 'at war', compatibility would then become even more unlikely.

  As to your question about the future... Well, just can not be answered here (breach of the Ts and Cs, NES and other things).

  Please correct me if I am wrong whenever we open a connection from Java application of device by using URL ending by '; devices = false " connections will be done through BES." So is it possible to access that is local to BES systems

• Problems with the file Proxy PAC and Intranet access

  Dear users of the Forum,

  Maybe someone has some advice for the following problem:

  We have configured the IE8 from our corporate customers of Windows 7 64 bit use a proxy configuration script (e.g. http://proxyconf.test.de).

  Now sometimes sporadic, especially in the morning when the client boots, the customer/user cannot open the pages of the INTRanet from our corporate network.

  But the opening of Web pages works. After erasing the Temp. Internetfiles INTRAnet access works again.

  Further, we discovered the following:

  Whenever the problem occurs, there is a file in the Temp. Internetfiles named "proxyconf.test.de/" (type CACHE file), which has a size of 0 KB and is empty.

  Once we delete it and restart the browser, access INTRAnet also works again.

  Add to this empty file, there is the default.pac of our Proxy Server in Temp Internet files, which contains the correct data.

  I understand that Windows updates cache the PAC file locally, but I couldn't find out why empty this file proxyconf.test.de was created.

  This happens with many customers and users.

  Does anyone have a tip for this problem?

  I set a filter Essbase and created a user with access filter in Shared Services.
  Now, I want to assign the Essbase filter that is created for the user.
  
  If I call the menu item 'Open' on a group of Shared Services applications I get an empty window.
  If I call the menu item "Assign Access Control" for the Essbase Application I get an error message (web page cannot be opened).

  Disconnect from shared Services
  Go to PARTY, select one of the application, with which you have a problem, start the the right click 'register '.
  Connect to Shared Services, now the "assign access control" should work for the application.

  I put a provision with access authorization in writing and interactive user in shared service for a planning application.
  When I try to use xls addin (or smart display) with this type of user, it displays #no access.
  I also noticed that whenever I update the database and security filter in essbase administration console "definition of the filter" is displayed, even if my access filter, also finally a row with access = no specification = @idescendants for each dimension member. and if I change this definition, the next time change return as starting.

  Check the options addin in excel, on the Tools toolbar in excel > essbase > options > Mode > make sure that the update mode is not checked.
