    Hope you can help me with this:

    I jz bought the Y450 (free DOS Version) and I installed Vista Home Basic Edition to this topic. I installed the desktop browser that came with driver CD, but I couldn't see the Desktop Navigator application in my notebook (No .exe is located after the installation). When I looked in "Programs and features" that I saw installed was just "Desktop Navigator Tool Library" for your info, the Setup file is less than 2 MB big and I chked the other model that has this feature's installation of more than 10 MB files. The desktop browser has only its library installed but not the application. So where is the version of the browser desktop for Y450? it seeems not be included in the website and the CD that accompanies. Thank you! I hope to hear from you guys soon!

    Why do you want to download ms windows? Did you mean to say ms explore? This should not be a problem make sure just that you match the correct version of the Explorer of your windows operating system.

  • Video browser problem (FireFox & Explorer)

    I was using my web browser yesterday when it rather suddenly a white bar 'dead' at the bottom of the browser that does not display anything.  At the same time, the small blue arrow at the top of the browser that could be used to open the search bar shows at all.  In addition, to make a new search, rather than scrolling up, I have to press the menu button and select ' go to ' every time.  Finally, I use to be able to scroll through a Web page by using the trackpad, but since yesterday, I have to use the touch screen.

    Each time a random strange behavior or slowness comes, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

    • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. If this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.

    See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Hey, I got my BB about 2 weeks so I'm still getting used to it.  I have a BB Curve 8330.  All of a sudden this morning I noticed my missing browser icon.  I have searched for it with the application of research and it has not been discovered.  Then I tried on my Yahoo! go (how I check my emails), and an error message came that said: "your phone has encountered a connection problem.  Please try again. (i32) "now I don't know if these are two independent problems, or if my left browser icon is because my internet is not working.  Thank you!

    Yep, you could lose a connection to the server, your SBs could have been removed sometimes when that happens, etc.

    Weird, not common, but it happens.

    I always accessed my account hotmail via the web browser so could write emails, send and respond. Yesterday for the first time I can no longer respond to emails or write new ones in my hotmail account. Strange.

    It may be that HotMail did something with the code of their Web site that has changed the way it interacts with mobile browsers. You may need to adjust the settings of your BB browser to find all that it could be that the Web site requires. There are a lot of settings, including the ability for your BB identify the site as a BB, IE or FF browser – which often gets pesky to work sites. Sorry, but there is no way to give you the exact settings, you can set everything simply play with them (in an orderly process) until find you the right combination. My guess is that they removed the possibility of a mobile browser to do what you do - and could be corrected by adjustment of your BB browser to identify as IE or FF. MY HUMBLE OPINION

    My 8330 m has started to freeze, on the recommendation of my technical support of carriers (Cellular South), I've updated my browser. It was on 11/09/10. After update, I have to have the page/bookmarks/history of google using Blackberry & support page. Quite slow to load, and I have to reload each time I click on the browser. After spending several hours on the phone, the carrier has transferred me to a Blackberry operator, which issued a repair ticket. Managed Blackberry technology he says that the reason was a software problem, which should be solved in a day or two and the use of the goto button. 10/19/10 I have updated my browser again with the same results. Several calls to my carriers tech line and 2 trips to the carrier itself has not solved the problem.     So my laptop opened randomly my web browser with a bunch of tabs leading to a website and I don't know what is the cause. Ive used windows Defender to do as well a full and quick scan and it found nothing but the problem continues. I have also noticed that if I'm away from the laptop long enough it opens again. Can someone help find a solution to end this problem?

    You don't need to display the key of the fields in the table, but do not add to your links page so that they are accessible - so you can reference them in your link. If you use a composite key, you may need to use the setCurrentRowWithKey instead of KeyValue #{row.rowKeyStr}
