  Unless you see a BIOS setting allows to allocate more memory from the memory installed modules, it cannot be changed. I just checked the service manual for your laptop series. There is no setting in the BIOS, so the answer is that you can not change it.

  Your best bet is to increase the installed memory to the maximum, depending on whether your OS is 32-bit or 64-bit.

  A 32-bit operating system may use no more @3.2 than GB of RAM while a 64 bit OS can use as much as the motherboard of your laptop (by design) will accept.

• Updated, runs in background but the browser will not open

  Firefox automatically updated today, and I restarted the browser. Or at least tried to. the process runs in the background, but the browser itself will not open at all. I am running Windows 7, and it seems, in the bar of windows, as if its going to open, but it's fading. When I went to uninstall it said that it was still running. Stopped the process, uninstalled and reinstalled, but the same problem. Cannot use troubleshooting tasks because I can't in the browser at all!

  Is currently working with a secondary browser, which is fine, but I really want to back Firefox!

  I created a few themes for a project in color.adobe.com (signed on my account) and went in my iPhone application (also signed on the same account) and attempted to access topics in the tapped app sign, creative cloud, 'my library '.   "Security" - well, if Gmail has to have me 'allow less secure connections', then there must be SOMETHING less safe on pop... don't know more on this subject than that, however.

• Vista will not recognize the projector connected for multiple display

  I'm under a system dual boot with Windows XP and Vista.  When running under XP, I doesn't hurt to connect a projector to my laptop and extend the desktop on the projector for meetings and others.

  When I am running Vista, it does not even recognize that the projector is connected.  However, once I have connected the projector, if I reboot the system, it will then display on the projector.  If I disconnect the projector, the screen does not reappear on the screen of the laptop, I have to restart, with the projector removed for office reappear on the screen of the laptop.  I'm hoping to get multiple monitors to work with Vista, as it does in my XP boot.

  For the purpose of the next presentation running in XP is not an option.

  Try these steps and check if that helps:

  Method 1: We can try to perform a power cycle of the projector.

On the projector, it may take up to 10 seconds for the projector to detect your system and switch. Note: a second press of this function (in general) will switch to monitor EXTERNAL only. A third press stop INTERNAL onlyand the circle for each push after that. Also note that some laptops can do this sequence in a different order, so learn your system so that you can quickly to the desired mode.

  6. click on the ADVANCED button. If 'apply the new settings to display without restarting' is not selected, select it. Under screen refresh rate, select 60 Hz. click APPLY and CONFIRM the choice. Click OK to close the ADVANCED options dialog. Close the display properties dialog box. You should now see a mirroring of your monitor on the second monitor.

  7. test: A test, disconnect the second monitor. put your mobile PC to sleep. He wakes up and let it fully come (login if necessary), and then reconnect the external monitor. On some machines, he needs to quickly display the screen in the last known state (you may need to wait up to 10 seconds). If it is not correctly displayed, press the switch function, ONCE.   2. in the settings dialog box, the internal monitor appears as a '1' and externally as a '2 '. Click ONCE on the '2 '.

  3. with '2' selected, drag the Screen Resolution slider to the left or to the right until the resolution reads "1024 x 768". Also affect the quality of the highest (32-bit color) if available or average (16 bit) if the first is not available.

  4. click on the ADVANCED button. If 'apply the new display settings without restarting' is not selected, select it.

  5. Select the MONITOR tab. Under screen refresh rate, select 60 Hz. click APPLY and CONFIRM the choice. Click OK to close the ADVANCED dialog box. Your system is now set for an extended desktop. When it is connected to the screen, you may need to use the function switch key to turn once more on this option, but on systems that I tested, the extended desktop comes just when the monitor is connected. Yet once, I suggested some tests with this mode of knowing how your laptop will perform when connected to an external monitor before coming to speak.

  6. notes that, in this mode, items moved to the extended desktop can be "lost" it if the external monitor is disconnected because they live on the extended desktop is no longer available.   Hello WowzerBrowser, some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

  Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
     • Windows:
       • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
       • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
     • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
     • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
     1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
     2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

• Playlist of YouTube videos will not play always more

  I have Win 7 and FF 18.0.1 the problem I have is recent because it used to work very well.

  When I go on Youtube and want to play a playlist of streaming videos, it plays not always more. When the video page appears that it appears with a red circle "BOLD" and a backslash in it and as soon as I move my mouse over the video portion of the page the red circle goes away then I have to click on the play button in the center of the video page to play. He then played this video and stop. So I go through the same thing again to get the next video to play when all the videos should play without interruption until all are played and this is how it used to work until very recently. I'm guessing that I added a FF add on that is causing this problem. This has happened for a few weeks and I thought nothing about it until today when I tried to play a continuous loop of videos and now I don't know what to add ons that I recently added. Of course, on that I do not know that a FF throw causes this problem. I can play the same playlist of videos with Internet Explorer and they play the way they are supposed to play continuously.

In any case, I noticed that I uninstalled Flashblock. I'm not sure but it seems that it's the first thing I uninstalled and it does not solve the problem.   I had this problem with Firefox version 15 and found out it was because of the theme I had installed. As soon as I changed back to generic theme of firefox browser was able to move freely again. Some themes work very well but there are some that causes this problem of the browser do not move with left click the top title bar.
