BSOD on Satellite A200 - 1 m 8 after the release of the standby or hibernation mode

Hey...

I have a laptop: Toshiba Satellite A200 - 1 m 8 OS: Win Xp Sp3

After taking over my computer in standby or hibernation, I got the blue screen "appeal of dysfunction - parity error - hardware your... provider etc..." »

I checked my GPU drivers updates and checked the memory RAM models, but all seem ok.
I also put the count to run with the base of msconfig drivers but wtihout any positive results.

Any idea what the problem might be?

....

Hello

As far as I know on the Satellite A200 BIOS should be updated to the version of the BIOS Win XP if Win XP has been installed on the machine.

Update you the BIOS to the version of Win XP? If this is not the case, this->.

I searched a bit on the pages of knowledge of MS for some details about this error and found this page:
http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB; EN-US; q222973 &

Microsoft means that this error could be related to the failure of hardware.

This could be fair and I think that in this case, you must contact the ASP in your country to verify the keyboard and the touchpad.
Maybe the parts should be replaced.

See you soon

I know that if there is a failure of memory the * power indicator * flashes repeatedly on and off the power (0.5 sec) if there is an error in the slot A the indicator would blink twice in orange, and then green.
If there is an error in the B slot, the LED will Flash orange and green twice.

  • Satellite A200 - cannot use Vista after the recovery of the product

Hello. I hope someone can help me with the following... This week I had various issues with which follows my laptop a Vista update that system restore did not fix, so I decided to go for a full recovery of product (which I have a complete backup of all my files).

So far I have used the product recovery on my laptop in the 3 ways I can see (and more than once): without changing the settings, change the settings and maximize the partition, change settings and select advance / expertise.

Whenever I was able to complete the initialization of windows, create a new user account, etc. Once the Office has been set up, I get a small window with a progress bar and when it's over, I click on the button 'restart '...

After the reboot, I get the black screen that says Microsoft Corporation with the green progress bar, but he's there for what feels like 'too long '. After a while, I get a black screen with a cursor, then a blue screen for a crash dump.

If I use F8 and boot mode safe, the system stops the CplIR.sys file, although the hard disk activity seems to be continuing. I turn off after 10 minutes.

If I use F8 and then select Repair computer... This is what is happening with each option
-Restore the full windows operating system: after clicking on OK nothing happens.
-Diagnostics of memory: there is no problem with memory
-DOS prompt: I run CHKDSK and there is no problem with the hard drive
-Restart: there is no errors, even if the word diagnosis 'impossible' when he sees, there is no system restore points

Then on reboot I get the black screen with cursor followed by the crashdump OR if I managed to log in and access my desktop, I get the crash dump, as soon as I try to do something (like open Control Panel).

Following the instructions found elsewhere, I have tried this after removing the battery, then changing power management options immediately after the initialization of windows (ie. before clicking on the restart button). No change.

I even ignored the button restart! But still get a crash dump, when I try to do something.

Any ideas? I've got past (ie. wasted) so a lot of time on this and don't understand what may be wrong after formatting the windows drive image and reloading...

    Hello

It's very interesting story. I got several notebooks several times but I never noticed anything like that.
I must say that what you did right and you think appropriately. If I were you I would try exactly the same steps to make it work somehow.
I do not know which issues you had before, but I imagine that here it's just the problems of software and not important for the operation of the equipment.

It's really hard to say what can be the problem. What you can try, is somewhere to get facilities Microsoft Vista disk and install naked Vista to see if the same thing will happen again.
Anyway, the fact is that images of recovery are tested and adapted for each laptop model and if the material is OK there no reason for this kind of behavior.

Try again with the new installation using Microsoft facilities drive and let us know exactly what is happening.

  • Satellite A200 PSAE0E - no display after the update of the BIOS has not

    Hi all

I have Toshiba A200 PSAE0E. I got the Vista OS to Xp.
When I tried to upgrade the BIOS setting, the system frozed.

I reformulated the system using the power button. There is no display on my screen when restarting.
I tried to restart by pressing F1, F2, key to the House and even removed the battery for a while, until what there is no display on my screen.

I even tried connection and an external monitor, but that also there is no display.
At the moment I don't have any sort of recovery disk.

I would be very happy if someone could help me.

    Hello

To me, it seems that the BIOS update procedure has failed.
For no apparent reason has frozen the system and you have interrupted the update procedure.

According to mu ROM module (where the BIOS is stored) has not been flashed properly and this is the reason why you cannot start the laptop.

In this case, you need the help of ASP I know, this really stupid s situation but I'm afraid there is no alternative to m.

I think that the technician will try to flash the ROM module using a special BIOS and then the cell phone should start properly if all goes well. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

    Good luck

  • Windows 7 to automatically connect to the network after the standby or Hibernate mode

This just started two days ago after an automatic update Windows 7.  Whenever I wake up my laptop, I have to manually connect to the wireless network.  He used to connect on its own.  Not changed anything with the network or router.  I have the connection to connect automatically, but it doesn't.  He, however, automatically connect when I start the computer.  I tried all the tricks of problems of the past... I see the network and it will connect and works fine after that I have to manually connect.  Just can't understand why, all of a sudden, he stops connection.  Again, this started 2/10 after a Windows automatic update... it seems that all updates have been security patches and I hesitate to uninstall them because I don't really know what one of them is.

Yes! I think that I fixed it. I tried all this without result. Then it hit me. Turn off the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is fine and good, but what the USB port? They can do this also. "' Go to the Device Manager and do a right click, Yes, the network adapter and uncheck this box, but also do it for the" USB Root Hub "under"controllers of Bus USB.

  • No video after the standby or sleep mode

Hi guys. I have a mystery I hope you answer decent to. sounds like a common problem but mine has a few twists of questions on what I read.
Whenever my monitor is turned off or goes into mode standby, the computer stops sending the video signal. The monitor not coming back unless I unplug the monitor on the back of the computer for a few minutes or I restart my computer. Sometimes a solution works while the other is not and it is not consistent.
The monitor has been tested on another computer and it works well. I bought a graphics card, but no difference. I even tried my plasma HDTV (which became an option due to the new graphics card), but which does the same thing.

The computer is a HP Pavilion a6219h running Vista 32 bit home premium with Service Pack 2.
The problem was with the video output built into the motherboard.
The monitor is a ViewSonic VX2235WM-5 model VS11349.
Message is "No Signal" on the screen.
I've disabled all functions of sleep, put everything forever and saved. Problem persists.

I bought and installed a nvidia GEFORCE GT 630 graphics card. PCI PCIe passes in the BIOS. Still the same problem.
With this new graphics card, I connected the computer to my plasma hdtv via hdmi plug. The same problem. No matter what I do, the screen works until it is either turned off or standby mode.

    It keeps it done.
At this point, I think it must be the motherboard. I also read online that it could be the power supply? What do you think? Is there anything else I can try?

  • Satellite U300-151 plant of the standby or sleep mode extended when WIFI is turned on

I have a new satellite U300-151. BIOS V3.80 and Intel version 11.5.0.32 wireless (which seems to be the latest driver). Vista SP1

When return to work of the standby or hibernation mode laptop still crashes if the wireless switch is enabled.

I am aware that it is an issue being discussed in a number of forums, but apart from references hopeful to SP1 and drivers, that I have not fallen on a solution. SP1 does not appear to have helped to solve my problem.

    All responses - thanks.

My knowledge of the SP1 could makes some problems because not all drivers are compatible with the new Vista service package.

The laptop goes down without installing SP1?

  • Satellite M115-S1061 - how to activate the standby/Hibernation mode

I recently got a laptop from my father and the settings are a bit strange.

My modes standby and Hibernate are also well off and due to the lack of a cooling device, it constantly turns off when I leave.

So whenever I leave, I have to shut down my computer, then restart again and his old fact.
I need to find a way to get my laptop to activate the standby or hibernation mode so I can't go through this process each time.
    Its a Toshiba Satellite M115-S1061.

Also, I checked the options of standby power, and they say the same things as well.

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hello

The history is confusing for me.
Just a few questions to the beginning:
What operating system do you use?
You use Toshiba power saver or power Windows options?

If you know that this laptop turns off when you leave why do the restart if you know it goes off even when?

You let your laptop with no activity, or you leave while an application is running?
Maybe is related to overheating decommissioning.

  • Satellite A200 PSAE6E: Impossible to install the audio drivers after installing Win XP realtek

    Hello...

Recently, I repartitioned my laptop HD to install XP and kubuntu (it came with vista)... However, I was not able to install audio drivers for its audio devices...

The laptop is a toshiba Satellite A200-PSAE6E and everest indicates the following audio controllers:

ATI hd 2xxx hdmi @ ati radeon hd 2600 - controller high definition audio
    Realtek alc268 @ intel 82801hbm ich8m - audio controller high definition

First I tried to download the audio drivers high definition realtek web site (32-bit version of windows xp). I tried to run the installation, manually navigating to WDM file during the installation of the pilot and navigation manually the folders where the drivers have been copied during the installation under c:\windows\system32\... all to nothing done...

Then I tried to download drivers toshiba official of the support web site of europe from toshiba for the realtek chip... I've lived the same behavior (both when you run the Setup program and install manually force pilots)

Then I tried to download the drivers for ATI HDMI audio device from realtek website... with the same results...

Windows tells me that it was impossible to find a driver in the any of the archives...

The only thing that could be the culprit because as far as I can tell, is that I installed service pack 3 RC2...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Tasos

P.S. I've tried the two automatic installation through specification of a folder and choose the options "I will manually choose a driver from the list" in the hardware installation wizard... the result is always the same... Note that the audio works perfectly under ubuntu...

P.S.2 IMPORTANT! I recently discovered that toshiba offers bios versions for the A200 PSAE6E depending on if it is equipped with windows xp or vista...

This refers to which the operating system has been installed when the system was purchased, or the operating system that is currently used? Can I upgrade the Bios of my laptop with the XP version or this break from things?

  • Satellite A200-1SM is slow after installing Vista

    Hello.

I have a problem with my Satellite A200-1sm computer.
Yesterday I installed Alcohol 120% program and something happened.
My computer stoped working and a restart and blue screen.

After that, I installed the Windows Vista again and installed the driver.
My processor is slow (before this happened was 3.8 after 4.6 and 4.5 memory after 2.7) and my memory is slow.

    Help

    Hello

I installed the tool Alcohol 120% a few months ago too and as far as I know this software creates virtual drives and you can emulate max 31 readers.

I m not 100% sure, but maybe this could be the reason for your BSOD issues possibly the software isn't 100% compatible with vista OS.

However, after installation since the laptop recovery CD uses the factory settings and should work fine. I don t think that your laptop works done slower, is that Toshiba picture (from recovery CD) contains a large number of programs that regulates the functions of the laptop and run in the background of the OS. These processes need resources from the laptop, and so the Vista experience index may change.

This is why I am 100% sure that your laptop is ok.

You should visit the Websites of Microsoft and should read a little about this index, and how it works.

    Good bye
