BSOD on startup
A few months ago, I lived three or four power outages in the coming days while my computer was on. I don't have a UPS. Since then, I get a BSOD at startup intermittently. Sometimes the Vista recovers on restart, sometimes, I get another. Usually, after the second, Vista gets - I had a third only a few times and never a fourth. When Vista covers, it works perfectly normally, except after that my desktop, I get a totally white screen for a few seconds, then returns to the office and everything is fine. Is there something I can otherwise only reinstall Vista? I did a chkdsk and a test of memory vista, no problem.
The good news is that from a windows update from 12/6, 7 or 8, the problem is GONE. All of these updates were to Windows Defender, so that is what was causing the problem obviously.

Sat Pro 4300: BSOD on startup, avoided if delay
Hello
I have a satellite Pro 4300, running W2K SP4. He had since 2001 with no problems.
Recently I get "unexpected kernel mode trap" and sometimes "ACPI BIOS is not fully ACPI compliant" BSOD at startup (before it comes to any type of graphics). Happens in secure and normal mode.
By experimentation, I found that I get no BSODS and boot normally if I F2 during startup and just hang out for a while (five minutes or more), then start.
If I run a memory test after starting in the Ultimate Boot CD, sometimes I see a lot of bad memory, sometimes not. I think it depends on how long I waited to boot from the CD.
Everyone like to hazard a guess, be it hardware or software? I guess rather than the former. I guess it could be the memory that went wrong, or worse on the motherboard power control began to go.
In both cases probably don't bother to fix, but I have the opinion of anyone.
Hello
I don't know with certainty what can be the problem but the spare part for this old good classic are not expensive and you can try to do some experiments. Check eBay. You'll find everything to implement. I imagine that together for this oldie mainboard should not be expensive.
Check the price and decision.

T410 nvlddmkm.sys BSOD on startup
Hi all
I had my T410 since the end of last month and had a BSOD on startup several times so far. Whenever I caught, I noticed that the driver nvlddmkm.sys nvidia was the cause. Each time the BSOD, I get the prompt "windows did not start successfully", how by selecting "Start windows normally" translates the fine start System. Since this BSOD is only presented to a cold start, I'm not too hampered by it outside my boot up times by doubling the time it does. I ran the update of the bios/driver Thinkvantage, as well as I'm running with the latest updates for Win7 Pro x 64.
Everyone knows this? If so, have you found a solution? No matter what Lenovo personal support out there have an entry?
Thank you

Hi guys, I'm having a huge problem here. In the last 3 days I got a BSOD on startup. I can start on the desktop, but less than 2 minutes, BSOD.
The message indicates a driver in the kernel stack is trying to corrupt the system. He said Stop: 0x000000c4 (0 x 0000000000000091., "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" gives C:Windows\minidump\070515.18392-01.dmp
C:Users\RassRas\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-73616-0.SysData.XML
in the form of files that describe the problem.
Only, I can start safe mode. However when I do the block driver files list at classpnp.sys for at least 30 seconds. before continuing on the desktop. What should I do? I really need help.
Unless there is a reason you run the driver verifier you should disable by typing auditor/reset in an elevated command prompt. Auditor of may be the cause of the problem. 37 of the 50 BSOD were related to the auditor running and there was no clear underlying (and unifying) cause.
Blocking it also does not work in safe mode because the auditor is disabled in safe mode.
I would also like to launch malwarebytes
Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.Update immediately.
Do a full scan of the system

So last night; surfing on the internet, the computer decided to randomly restart on me.
When it starts up; I get a BSOD code 0 x 24.
After that, he had a different error code. 0 x 50When trying to startup repair, I get the error codes.
It might have to do with the filesystem.
Can someone help me out here?
Oh, and Safe Mode does not work as well.(and if anyone can give a solution which is not formatting the hard drive? I have games I want to spend by downloading and playing over there where I left)
Have you tried to boot from the DVD win 7? I suspect you'll have to do a stable repair to it even when

Random BSOD at startup, sometimes perhaps 2 to 4 times a week
Hello world
First of all thanks for trying to help. I was make a random BSOD from time to time at startup. I have the minidump file that is downloaded and have an html element. Before that all the tech news goes, I have a few things more talk, my video drivers have been updated since the BSOD first started to appear. No hardware changes. At one point I had to reinstall windows because of a complete failure, but since then have only this random BSOD. Who started about 3 weeks to a month after the relocation. I don't remember changing all programs, install any programs, or anything of the kind just before or a few days before the show began.https://SkyDrive.live.com/embed?CID=0733068D2B88BF3D&RESID=733068D2B88BF3D%21170&AuthKey=AJEH51CFK5T4kUs
I hope that you are not seen any problems by looking at the file. It's the actual error I receive on the loading of windows.

E520 Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) on startup
Hey, got my laptop for about 1 month and Im getting BSOD. The error is 'Page_Fault_In_Non_Paged_Area.
This happens right after startup windows loading screen.
Ive tried using the memory diagnostic tool and tried to do a system restore, but none of them have been fixed. I have not tried to make a Lenovo product recovery as there are things on my hard drive I would prefer keep, so I kept it as a last resort.
I have not tried to open the cell phone that I've never done before and I wouldn't break something accidentally.
You can uninstall Norton and see if the problem persists? You can open safe mode?
You can always go to the WIndows recovery environment and choose the option system restore to a date prior to the installation of Norton

Reboots and BSOD on startup or during recovery from hibernation
Hello
I got BSOD and restarts for a while now, so I decided to post about it here, hoping someone can help me in fixing it.
My computer restarts often at startup; When entering my password, when the boot menu appears, or after a few minutes of use. It is a reboot suddenly, without warning, or BSOD. This happens also when setting hibernation and use the system for a few minutes.
Sometimes, I get a BSOD, but exception names vary. The cause in WinDbg is always WIN8_DRIVER_FAULT, so I guess that a driver is the cause. Only the name of the module is usually ntoskrnl.exe, so I don't know which driver is the culprit.
I've updated my video drivers, but that has not helped. It's a PC self-built, so there is a Web site with the latest drivers. The drivers for my motherboard (ASRock), BIOS and related components are the last.
Here are a few images from my memory and my msinfo32 output:
Note that my PC restarts often, but there are no BSOD and therefore no generated minidumps. Nothing interesting in the event viewer, as I see. I activated the Verifier, but no BSOD so far.
Thanks in advance!
See you soon,.

Actuall I think it may be related to BitLocker Drive Encryption fvevol.sys pilot of Microsoft Corporation. I would remove at least to test.

Satellite M30x - BSOD at startup - F8 does nothing
After loading some software my m30x keeps restarting itself.
Unfortunately, the blue screen of death happens before I choose my account (XP) and it goes through the reboot sequence.Screen says to press F8 on startup to enter safe mode, but that doesn't matter.
How can I get in mode start safe and no idea on how to solve this - if I can load XP so that I can perform a restore, but that seems very far at present.
Thank you
Hello
Usually if the Advanced Boot Menu does not start pressing the F8 key then you will not be able to boot into safe mode.
In your case I n t see any other solution than starting from the Toshiba restore CD and reinstall new OS :(
Welcomes the MAN

BSOD on startup - how to solve?
Heya,
I have a little problem with a Toshiba laptop, I got (for a friend) and I was wondering if I could get advice on what to do?
Basically, you cannot start the machine past the Windows XP OS loading screen. I don't know what they were doing, but it seems as if a critical system file has been deleted or corrupted because whenever you try to start, the machine is showing just a blue screen (BSOD), and the same thing occurs if you try to start in safe mode.
It is impossible to get a BSOD code as the laptop restarts after displaying the message for 1 second, and the cycle starts again. I don't think she has a recovery disc for the machine either, but I have a copy of Windows XP Home hanging out somewhere, if need be.
Any suggestions on what I can do, because the only thing I can think to do is to reinstall Windows (I imagine will also be a problem).
No matter what?
For the most part the BSOD occurs because of the serious software error or malfunction of the equipment. In case you I would say, its software.
Help BSOD messages don t usually because you will get dumps of memory common user is not able to read such messages.I think you should try to reinstall the operating system. If you haven t CD recovery, then you use the CD of Windows and after this installation, you could install the drivers of Toshiba of the page.

I received my Y580 15 and it worked perfectly on the first day. Before I go to bed, I have installed Windows updates before shutting down.
The next morning, I booted Windows and it seems to work fine at first. After about 2 hours, I got a BSOD saying MEMORY_MANGEMENT. Since then, I was not able to start Windows. I get a BSOD after a few seconds, usually say MEMORY_MANGEMENT or another memory-related error.
I tried system recovery options, but all of those lead to similar BSOD after a few minutes. I tried repair OneKey and which also lead to a mistake of memory in the middle of the restore process. Now I can't boot into windows at all. It says "a disk read error has occurred. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to restart»
Any ideas on what is the cause and how to fix it?
RishanM,
Please contact your laptop to check for hardware problems. Let them know that you did the one key recovery, but the problem persists.
I take a stab in the dark here, but I suspect it is a RAM problem.
Thank you

BSOD on startup after upgrading to SP2
Hi I have (today) put reacently upgraded to SP2 on my Windows Vista Business 32-bit.
Initially the upgrade failed after downloading SP2. I chose to "try again".
Reboot and install the SP2, he said he failed (after disconnection) and would like to try after the restart to install it.When the computer rebooted then I have "imedialty" got a BSOD (just barly noticeable) and the computer restarted.
I also get this BSOD when trying to fashion without failure (all safe mode options).
It seams like the place a BSOD when start the GUI.
The normal (non-secure mode) start load graph is displayed, but the seams like BSOD occurred when/before the logon screen appears.
In SafeMode the held the BSOD after drivers were loaded and seams like when/before the GUI is started.I can't say what the BSOD because it's just barly noticeable until the computer restarts again.
Is it possible to go back to SP1 by connecting the HD to another computer so I did not reinstall Vista?
Or preferably get SP2 to work.
Reinstallation of Vista is a viable option, because I backup data, but it would be nice if I had not. It's OK, I opted to reinstall.
But thanks for trying to help me.Pentecost unistalling SP2 problem, is that I can never get the start meny or any GUI (GUI); BSOD and reboot takes place before this stage (normal boot and safe mode).
I have connected the HD to another computer via a 2.5 "USB external case I had so I am not present latest data backup in my current backup (all data).
Ony options that I had to remove that SP2 has been through to installation cd and its repair option that said that it could not solve the problem.
Or via the installation cd of restoration option that has found no point of restor.
Or through the boot option back to the last parameter of work (or something like that) which didn't work (BSOD and reboot the computer).
Or through safe mode (all modes safe even the safe mode command prompt), which resulted in BSOD and reboot before graphical user interface (GUI) (or command line).Or changed through the connection of the HD via the external USB port of casing and make some magic I din't know that I hoped there was a solution for.
It was more an error of curious and my searches on the net that I have found no one else with my particular problem (all the similar I found was able to enter the graphical user interface).Fortunately, this is not all lost data (because of the envelope, I had and no encryption on the data I needed) but would be terrible if there was someone else who have experienced this problem which would result in them not beeng able to access their data in any way whitout goes to a service shop or buying an external enclosure and taking the HD on their computer and connect it to another computer) If they were also on a laptop as I have). Service shop would do the same for the external data disc or the laptop that takes several HD
Maybe a reinstall whitout formatting the HD would do the trick, but given that I was able to get the data and had a backup before, I opted for a clean reinstall.
Hope that no one else will suffer this error.
It is not ideal when the computer is in an infinate with boot BSOD reboot BSOD reboot BSOD loop... -
I've recently updated my Norton AntiVirus 2011. My sytem automatically restarted and when it comes out of the Windows XP loading screen at startup it gives me a blue screen with error code of c000021a. I tried to restart with 'last known configuration of the work' and it does the same thing.
Hello
Try the following steps:
Step 1: remove all external devices and boot into safe mode and see if you can boot to the desktop.See this link for more information on how to start in safe mode:

BSOD on startup Vista crcdisk.sys
Hello.
I just installed Vista SP2.Rebooted and everything went well.
I've also updated my BIOS of motherboard (Intel G35EC) to its latest version.
At the next restart I got BSOD, and the system restarted before I could read anything.I tried 'Safe Mode'. It loads the files, and then gets the file: crcdisk.sys crashes for a few seconds and then restarts.
I tried to change the settings for the SATA controller to IDE emulation still with no success. What could be? How I can fix?
Thank you.
Uh, did him updated BIOS might have something to do with it?
He has clearly stated that it has installed SP2, rebooted and everything was fine, then it has updated its BIOS and now he has problems.Thank you
