BSOD when waking up from his sleep.

Hi guys!

I did a clean reinstall of windows 7 64-bit yesterday and now I have a problem with the computer having BSOD when waking from sleep. I installed the drivers and all windows updates offered on the site of Asus.

ASUS UX31E
Intel i7 - 2677 M CPU @ 1.80 GHz
4 GB OF RAM
ADATA 128GB ATA Device XM11
Intel HD Graphics 3000

Here is a link to the minidump files: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=3D69F037CA8FD1FA%21107

I would appreciate if someone could help me.

Thanks in advance!

I replaced avast, but it does not solve the problem. Then, I rechecked the Asus site for all the drivers who could not miss. I installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver and looks that it somehow solved the problem. I tried several times to put the computer to sleep and wake up again and it connected normally.

Hope that the problem is now solved permanently.

Thank you for your help :)

    Hello.

I had a problem with my sometimes W520.

The problem is, he awakens from his sleep by himself. I run the start > Sleep function in windows and wait for the led around the powerbutton fades in and out. Then a few hours later he apparently awake mode standby (even with the lid closed) and my battery is drained completely to 0%.

Well I think I have fixed the problem. HP wireless Assistant fixed somehow. I'm seriously confused but I've never had to install in the past.

  • Computer does not have a password after waking up from his sleep.

To start, I have a laptop Windows 8. I have my laptop set whenever I close the lid, it is supposed to go to mode "Eve" and require a password when I lift up. It does not require a password when I lift the lid and I know for a fact that I have a password set for the characters, fingerprints and photograph, and none of them appear. Simply open up like nothing ever happened. Maybe it's because he's going to do nothing when I close the lid, even if I put it in sleep mode. I don't know if I have accidentally deleted a file or changed a setting, or if I have a virus, but it continues to be.

It's okay, I discovered that it was a virus or something, but now it is deleted.

Recently upgraded to windows 8 pro to windows 7 and I found that I couldn't connect to any wireless network after that the computer is in mode with 8 'sleep'. I've tried everything. Hello

Thanks for your posting in the Microsoft community

As I read the full question, you did not mention what you have taken to correct the isuse of step
Basically, this problem happens because of the Wifi configuration

Go to Device Manager by right clicking on the section of the computer,
And go to the properties of the wireless Ethernet drivers in device list.
After going to the last TAB properties will be power management, click on this and you will get two options as

""Allow this computer turn off wifi to save energy.

    Just uncheck and try again

  • Vista wakes up from his sleep by himself

As the title says, my vista pc wakes up from his sleep by himself. Normally, he'll sleep for 10-15 minutes before you wake up. At other times, it is random and wake up in 2 minutes or 30 minutes. I looked in the forums of countless and tried the suggested solutions, but can not solve the problem. The only thing I found to keep him asleep is disconnected the network cable from the PC or unplug the network cable from the cable modem. I suspect some service or program he wakes up, but I have no idea of that. Here's what I tried:

I used powercfg command-line command to see which devices have been enabled to wake up the pc. They were only the mouse & keyboard. They are all two peripheral cables usb. I unplugged each separately before you put the pc to sleep and he will still be awake. I use "last_wake" but I just get '0' and in the event viewer it says "wake source unknown.

I made sure "allow this computer to turn off this device to save power" has been verified for the network adapter in the power management tab. I also disabled the option in the advanced NIC Properties. I also disabled it in the bios. After having done that and the pc wakes up is still what intrigues me the most when I don't know if I unplugged the NIC in the pc go to sleep for hours until I decided to wake up. It is wired not wireless.

I have that 'sleep' lit. There are no hybrid sleep or hibernation available mode.

It is vista business so I don't have a Media Center. Media Player is not enabled for sharing files on the network or to pick them up. Media sharing is turned off, and it's only pc's on my network. Also just in the 'media settings' box is configured to allow the pc to go to sleep in power options.

I checked the Task Scheduler for tasks that can be set for 'wake up this computer' so it can work, but only one of them has this option. It's for multiple monitors and I unchecked the box and the pc wakes up still. I checked for hidden tasks, and the only one I found that could be the culprit was MS RSS. However, after the removal of this pc still wakes up.

    I don't have a sidebar option.

Windows Update is set on notify me when updates are available.

I also did a msconfig & selected 'selective startup '. I have uncontrolled startup programs. The pc is still awake.

Tried to start the pc in safe mode, but there is no option of sleep available to test if it wakes you up from his sleep in safe mode.

Last but not least is when the pc is wake up he's going to sleep again within 2 minutes.

As you can see I tried everything I could think of without much success. Can someone tell me something again or that I have not tried?

I have no idea what you're trying to do, but here's what I found my problem. I have a motherboard intel. Although I disabled "wake on lan" both vista & bios there was yet a 3rd parameter I was not aware of. He was set apart from the bios or vista. It is a framework of intel in the 'management engine interface' if I remember correctly. It is accessible after the bios option and before loading windows. Once I turned it off my pc stop, out of sleep. So, if you have a motherboard intel, then that is your problem.

  • Computer wakes up from his sleep at night

    Hello

I have a problem of disruptive reeally with my Windows 7 PC: he wakes up from his sleep to ~ 2 hours every night, I put it to sleep and it wakes up again between 3-04:00. Is it possible to limit this, or to diagnose what executable triggers this?

    Thank you
    Levi

Windows performs many tasks during the night, including the work of backup, hard drives and other degragmenting.  These are usually the root cause of the alarms.

You can begin troubleshooting by opening an elevated command prompt * and type powercfg /lastwake to see what woke up the last computer.

    * To open a command prompt, type cmd in the Start Menu, and then press Ctrl-Shift-Enter.

If it was useful, you can vote by clicking on the green triangle. If it solves the problem, click on propose as answer. Thank you!

  • Clean disk and now cannot wake up from his "sleep".

    Hello

Like many others I deleted some files that I wouldn't go for a drive clean and now when my laptop goes to sleep, he can't wake up, and the only solution is to re-boot your laptop.

I have read many of the questions already asked and I already tried the guest "powercfg-h" method, but not luck.
Very grateful if someone has an idea to try and fix.

    Hello

My Sony vaio is strange. Whenever I put it to sleep and it wakes the BSOD while it recharges to the 'not found operating system". Now the power button down for 30 seconds and then it turning it back makes me back in the operating system without any problem.

I've updated the BIOS and run that all pilots availible to do this and the model.

I also reset the BIOS to the factory settings.

I have also reinstalled the operating system.

  • Satellite P200D-12f PSPBQE - blue screen when waking up from sleep

    Hello again!

I feel blue screen problems when I close my laptop and open it again (while he wakes up).
It says something about Ati blah blah.

I find that very annoying reseting every time the PC cuz he went to sleep... any1 has / had similar problems?

What can I do about it? I had b4 of win xp on my laptop (toshiba don't support even xp for this model) and it worked perfectly, even not a problem... and now with win 7 I have millions of problems and win7 is supported!

    > I feel some problems blue screen when I close my laptop and open it again (while he wakes up).
    > It says something about Ati blah blah.

Blabla ATI means that the BSOD is related to the ATI graphics card chip or graphics card installed driver.

If Win XP worked perfectly, then the problem must be caused by software installed. Maybe the graphics driver...

I recommend the update driver graphics card and if necessary, update the BIOS.

  • Yoga 900 wakes up from his sleep when picked up by the short edge

I want to show Aproblematique I had with my 900 Yoga to see if others have had similar problems.

I discovered this when I put my Yoga, (who was asleep) in my backpack and then subsequently noticed he was awake. It took me a while to understand what was going on, but I finally decided that she had nothing to do with the backpack.

My 900 Yoga wakes when picked up by the short edge (as I have done to put n my backpack). You can see in the video:

Yoga 900 wake when picked up

(BTW - I'm not press the laptop, I'm just taking it as it is necessary to pick it up by the edge.) Press the lid and there is a pressure on the rise on the bottom. It is the pressure on the lid which seems to be the cause of the laptop to wake up)

Note that Lenovo has been great and sent me a replacement laptop. But I'm curious to know if others see this same problem.

Is this a common problem with 900 Yoga?

  • HP Pavilion 13-a113cl: computer HP Pavilion laptop won't wake up from his sleep by the keyboard or mouse

I don't know if it is good advice to post this question in, but I'm having the same problem with two a113cl-13 laptops HP Pavilion running Windows 10 Pro (64-bit). The issue has to do with the awakening of the machines to sleep using the key on the keyboard or the mouse. I'm not having problems with them to wake up from sleep using the button of power or when I open or close them.

I checked the BIOS and power settings are not there. (Version of BIOS F.32)

I have checked boxes to allow devices to wake the computer in the management section of power without success.

I changed the Intel MEI driver with 9.5 instead of 11 which is usually installed without success.

I don't know if there is a problem with the BIOS and Windows 10 or something driver associated. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello @jpk717,

    Thanks for the information!

Since you have formatted the drive, you must be unable to return to the old operating system, unless you use recovery media.  You can find your product here recovery media:

    USB - Windows 8.1 Recovery Kit 64B

You can try to use the recovery media to install the original operating system and see if the problem is resolved.  If you choose not to go down this path, you can try to re - install Windows 10, using the media creation tool.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a great weekend!
