BSOD - Windows XP & Dell D630
We have several Dell D630 laptop computers who have experience of many BSOD per day. The machines work fine when they are not attached to a network. However, once they plugin for the network, start the BSOD. All PCs are under Windows XP SP3. We have updated the driver for the CARD on a few PCs and no change. We have applied all MS updates and there is no change.
Any suggestions?
Hello
1. how many laptops are connected to the network?
2. what version of Windows XP is installed on the computers?
3. do you get an error message when the blue screen appears?
Verify that if the problem exists in Mode safe mode with networking, if the computer works as expected in mode safe mode with networking, and then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.
a. refer to the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP
A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222
b. you need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow the steps as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.
I hope this helps.

"Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" minidump (BSOD) Windows 7 file
I had trouble with the BSOD Windows 8.1 and 10 so I went back to windows 7. It has been working well for some time however, when I play a video game it crashes. This is the first time since that I resorted to windows 7. Unlike Windows 8.1 and 10 I can boot into normal mode so I can continue to do what I want to do but I'd like to solve this problem, if it is severe.

How much GB needed the PEN USB for 'Back up and recovery' flash on the new Windows 8/Dell 3521
1. I'm about to buy a new Windows 8/Dell and I need the answer above to implement.
2. I have documents and photos on a separate USB Flash Pen, I want to copy in Windows 8/Dell. How it works, please?
3. If I opt to connect again Windows 8 with the Local account, what applications will be excluded. I have a microsoft also account, but I prefer the Local account sign in to the.
4. stupid question, but not Windows 8 come with folders "My Documents" and "My Photos" already installed or do I need to create those myself? I looked at several tutorials, but I'm not clear on this issue.
Hello.
- According to the website of "create a recovery USB disk", it is usually between 3 and 6 GB, 8 GB USB key should be a lot.
- To copy your photos and documents to Windows 8 of your flash pen, simply plug the flash drive, open Explorer (shortcut +E) and drag - move the files in the folders of photos and documents.
- With the help of a local account prevents you from using OneDrive for backups of files online and save your settings. I recommend creating a local account first, and then 'connect' to a Microsoft account. In this way, you get all the benefits of an online account without sacrificing your local account, and you can always disconnect it later without affecting your local account.
- Yes it is safe. These folders are in the same place as usual (under C:\Users\YourName), but they appear also as shortcuts when you open Explorer, to facilitate access.

Hello
Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community and we provide a detailed description of the issue.
According to the description, I understand that you have the problem with BSOD on the system.
Certainly, I understand your concern and will try my best to help you.
There are a number of reasons for this problem, but this scenario indicates to some conflict hardware driver.
First of all, I would say to disconnect external devices attached to the computer with the exception of essential devices such as the keyboard and mouse. Restart the computer now and see if it boots. In this way, we can identify if any external device is causing this problem.
In addition, you can try to perform the Startup Repair and check if it helps.
Startup Repair is a Windows Recovery tool that can fix certain system problems that might be preventing Windows to start. Startup Repair scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so that the computer can start correctly.
Please refer to the article below and follow the steps and check if that helps.

What is the BSOD Windows 0 x 00000071 and can simply be fixed?
Whenever I run to the top of my Windows XP, I get a blue screen with 0 x 00000071 and session5_initialization_failed. I have no idea what that means and I CAN'T run in Mode without failure or last known working configuration, they also give me the same error. I used to have the BSOD 0x0000007b but then I used a CD of Windows XP Recovery console and it changed to 0 X 00000071. Is there anyway I can fix it from home and keep my data? I tried using fixboot and chkdsk/r, and it does not help. I have also a certain blank CD I can burn but I don't have the original Windows XP cd.
