  Standby Redo Logs are similar to online redo logs and the difference between the two is that standby Redo Log is used to store restore data by progress coming from another (primary) database.

  Standby redo logs are used only when the database_role is in sleep mode, it is recommended to add in the primary also so that they can be used on the evolution of the role, however, in the normal course work standby redo logs will be used at all on the primary.

  Using groups of waiting for redo log depends on the rate of generation of redo, you can see only 2 newspapers roll forward pending use even if you have 4 groups of waiting for redo log, when the production of roll forward rate is lower.

  It is recommended to have a group of newspapers of recovery sleep when redo production rates are high and all of the current log roll forward pending use.

  I have 11v3 of HP - UX. I installed Oracle Standard Edition 10.2.0.1 and after that, I installed 10.2.0.4 Patch Set.
  I configured the two databases using DBCA. At the end I save scripts (not create database) and run the shell script.
  The databases are running.
  
  I tried to delete a database using DBCA, but option delete a database (and also "set up the Option database") are not available, they are grey.
  
  What is the problem? What should I do to get the opportunity to delte the two DBCA databases?

  DBCA reads the ORATAB UNIX file to determine which databases exist to be deleted (and DBUA did the same thing to determine which databases are to be upgraded). Most likely the ORATAB file contains no entry without comment for your database.

• Music 'Article not available' on Ipad after iTunes upgrade

  I only sync the playlists.  All the songs in playlists are available and play in Windows iTunes library have been successfully synced and played several times in previous uses. After that iTunes install 12.4.0.119 and the next sync iPad 2 iOS 9.3.2,and half of my large number of songs in each playlist are grayed out and indicate 'Not available Element' when selected.  The songs exist and play in the sync playlists iTunes version.  I deleted all the music on my iPad and resynced with the same results.  All the songs in iTunes are MP3s.  I don't use icloud for backup.  None of the music is purchased.  The problem appeared after update of iTunes for Windows.

  If I run a German WindowsXP SP2 and VistaRC2 it is impossible to connect to access points using channels 12 and 13 which should be available in Europe.

• NiDaqmxbase - samples is not available?

  I have a Council 6033 in a system using NIDAQmxBase V3.2 / LV 8.5.1 / Mac OS X 10.5.7

  I get a warning about the samples is not available.  In this case, I am referring the data in 1 second bursts with a couple of seconds timeout.  The data are taken continuously.  It should be available.  This code works on LV 8.5 and Mac OS X 10.4.11.

  Even when I run the NIDataLogger application, I get this when I try to read 1 second of data at a time.  For example, I try to read 32 channes of data at 500 Hz and read 500 samples.  He reads once or twice and then paused for a few seconds and told me that I don't have any samples.   Say What?

  If I ask for 490 samples per channel, it works fine for a few minutes!  Known bug?  I couldn't find that it referenced in the forums.
