Bugcheck after format and re install Windows 7 BS Bluescreen

Nice day

I formatted my hard drive the other day (31/05/14), since my computer has been crashing with blue screens like crazy - at least two to three times a day. The system is a customized version of the year, and I've updated all my drivers and software. I did my best to try to understand why it keeps crashing, including repair of windows, memory diagnostics, disk hard scans, Mr Fix It, removing overclocks, etc, etc, but I failed. I can say with certainty that the event viewer reports the same codes of each hour. It's as follows:

The computer was restarted after a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0 x 0x00000000000406f8, 0 x 0000000000000008, 0000000080050033, 0xfffff80002ec3d3d). A dump was saved in the: C:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP. Report ID: 060114-19749-01.

The specifications of the system are:

ASUS p8z77-v lk

Intel Core i5 3570 k (returned to the stock clock, formerly overclocked to 4.5)

7950 vapor-X (returned to the stock clock, formerly overclocked to 1150, 1500)

8 GB corsair vengeance

Hard drive 1 TB seagate (primary)

HDD 2 TB seagate (for steam games)

Hitachi 500 GB (used for photos and backups from norton)

Windows 7 Professional

As stated above, my drivers are all up to date, just like Windows. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I am now downloading my memory.dmp to Sky Drive. I'll post it once it is completed.

1. check with ASUStek support, their drivers and documentation online and ask in their forums
on known problems.

iastor.sys = Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver - see ASUStek and chipset manufacturer. This driver
may was pushed to the fault by other programs such as Symantec/Norton.

This driver is extremely difficult to install if you need help of ASUStek, but you could also ask
in the forums of ASUStek.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Hello I have an old Vostro 1700 and I would like to format the hd and re-install Vista; However given that this is something really new to me I fear I could make mistakes and get stuck in the middle of the process... In additional wonder if my phone is too old for this.

  • How to format and re - install Windows 7 using recovery disks/Partitions?

    Hello..

    My product-

    HP DV4-5109tx

    Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a free space of 78 GBs that I'm not able to use... As when I try to use the "disk management" and right-click on the free space to "format partition" this option has been grayed out... !!

Please suggest if I can use this space without formatting? (I was suggested for formatting)

In addition, due to some other issues too I want to format my Windows (and reinstall) IE drive C so that the free space problem can be solved... Also I don't want no data in my other drives to be formatted...

I have the recovery partition and the recovery disks sent by HP...

Please help me how I can use them to solve my goal...

    Thank you

It's simple, as I suggested in my previous post.

Once you have a drive like the one on the image management window simply click New Simple Volume. Create a new partition called "New Volume". Make a right click on it and the option to format it will appear.  The strips on the 75,38 GB of free space in your image indicates that the selected action will take place on this point in the disk management window. You can change the name for the new volume in Windows Explorer.

    Hello

    1. are you able to read any type of file .doc or .txt of DVD?

After following all the steps (including the update of the MP9 for Media Player [MP] 11) below

I can get the drive to DISPLAY all the data from the DVD (Master & Commander 'movie)

on-screen MP11.  He plays (automatically) the intro (ONLY) from the DVD music (as when you put it in a DVD player, forward to press PLAY) MP11 shows all of the content and all the files on the DVD and SEEMS ready to play, but pressing on PLAY don't either not anything.

2 , what exactly happens when you try to burn the CD? You get the error message?

    Not nothing... He's here

    3. How do you try to burn CDs?

MediaPlayer, selection of a track list, made a list of titles, and then click BURN... nothing happens

4 have you tried to play the DVD content in ? windows media player

I had not before, but now I have.  Previously it was default to my SELECTION WIN DVD4 as the DVD player (I think I've EVER SEEN the WINDVD format/start page on the front screen - it wasn't the default front DVD player either but don't remember what program PLAYS the DVD, he ' comes of ").  Now, go back and see 1. above for MP11 more details.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

3 right-click on the CD-RW/DVD drive, and then select set to update driver.

He asks if I have an OEM driver and / disk... NO.. I run the program through...

All this seem normal but above I see YELLOW TWO warnings under 'OTHER DEVICES '.

"Question: media in the CD-RW/DVD drive is not readable" CLICKED top DIFFICULTY... and after computer "worked" on this subject awhile, he says STATUS: fixed.  St ill did not.   MP9 introduced the format of the DVD player but don't seem to read anything other then showing a list:

    UNKNOWN

    Title 1

    Title2

Title 3 etc., but could not do anything with this list.

He appeared a box asking if I wanted to update my MP9... sure why not so I shut everything down and uninstalled 9 and installed Media player 11.

Go BACK to # 1. now once again.  This is where I am.  MP11 shows all DVD data, the chart "the Album/DVD cover, all"titles"on the DVD, AND play the track audio 'intro' DVD but will not actually READ the DVD. "

So far it's PROGRESS.  We are at a point where it SEEMS at least that we are ready to PLAY and MP can SEE all the info on the DVD.

I've got LR 5.7 and I installed (Windows 7/64) profile of color ICC Blurb but I cannot use it to create a copy for proofing. How can I do?

Blurb profile is CMYK, and so does not test in Lightroom. Having said that, really, you don't want to use their profile for nothing because they use a lot of different printers and that a profile will probably not represent the printer that is actually used, so it is useless and could lead you to the wrong path. Expect variability in reproduction of the color of their share even if you send the same task twice. Nothing you can do to control that unfortunately. Wobertc advice is spot on. Don't worry if you ship it directly from LR. Use sRGB if you export images to use in another page layout program. Forget proofing for this service.

I had to replace my HARD drive in my computer. I installed my Windows XP Home SP2 disc. After installation, I used my SP3 upgrade drive and my drive to upgrade to IE8. After you install all my drivers, I tried to get Windows dates and discovered that I could not access the Microsoft web sites. I get Internet Explorer cannot display this page. I tried to find out why this is happening and how to correct the situation, but have not found an answer that works yet. Can someone give me an answer to this question.

I have another (used) computer that I formatted the HDD installed and on Windows 7 and have had no problems to access the Microsoft web sites on. It uses the same modem cable like the other computer so I guess that everything is ok with my Internet connection. This problem seems to be only with Windows XP Home SP 3.

  • How to uninstall Windows XP, save data and re-install Windows XP

My computer is running very slowly; Some programs take literally minutes to appear. I have the disks so I figure I'll uninstall and reinstall. I would like to save the data of losing it; address of e-mail etc. Do not know how to proceed. Thanks for any comments.

Technically speaking, you uninstall an operating system as such, you just format the drive where it is installed and then install another OS or use the drive for anything you want.  This is the easiest part, just start the computer with your CD of Windows XP and the disk & partition selection screen, select the partition where you want to install Windows XP, and then format the NTFS partition and proceed with the Windows installation.  Very important: make sure you have the Windows XP product key BEFORE you to format the Windows installation!  Without the key, you will not be able to install Windows XP.  If you have lost the key, it can be retrieved the operational facility before formatting it.  You must also have the latest drivers for your as motherboard and chipset at hand, these are the first drivers you need to install after installing Windows, then you normally install video drivers and other drivers.  It helps a lot if you know what hardware is installed and if you have the drivers on hand or that you know at least that the manufacturer has them available on their site.

Save your settings and personal data may be a little harder, if all your web browsing is done with Internet Explorer and if all your e-mail is done with Outlook Express you can use the files and Settings Transfer Wizard to save these settings and files and then restore them to the new facility.  If you use another browser or web e-mail program and then saving those settings and files will depend on programs.

With regard to your personal information only you can know or decide what should be saved, usually most of your data would be in your profile (C:\Documents and Settings\Votre user name) folder, but we all know that most of the users themselves with data stored outside the profile folder, you should know where your data is and then back up to CD DVD, s, external or second internal drive or another computer on your network.  If you ask me the safest way is to clone the hard disk whole or all but the Windows folder on a second hard drive to backup.

PS: It's also things go much faster if you first download Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3 and burn them on a CD beforehand.  Install them AFTER installing the drivers.  (You have SP1 or SP2 installed prior to installing SP3, you can install SP2 without SP1).  He's going to win a lot of time when you go to the Windows Update site if the installation is already upgraded to SP3.

  • Formatting and recovery of Windows installation on Satellite M60

    Hi guys!

I want to format my Toshiba Satellite M60 soon. But I don't have the slightest idea how to do this and even more I don't know how to recover my Windows XP. I have Toshiba Express Media Player Recovery CD but nothing else because Windows was already on my drive.

Can you help me how to format and recover my factory settings on my laptop?
    Help, please
    gasina

    Hello

Without much discussion: factory settings you can have if you install the operating system via original Toshiba recovery CD/DVD. Unfortunately, you do not have it.
Now, you have two options: either you try to order and buy a new one (by authorized service provider), or you install WXP using the facilities of Microsoft CD. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba support site.

If you need more info please let me know.

  • Satellite L350D-118 Vista stops working after the error to install Windows XP

    I have a L350D - 118 (PSLE8E) bought 2 weeks ago and is installed in Dutch.
My plan was to make it dual boot with Windows XP Professional.

I resized C: partition using the Vista Disk Manager to make more room for the XP partition.
I then tried to create a new primary partition, but I only could make an extended partition (so I did not).

Then I put in my teacher XP + SP2 installation CD in the disc drive to see if I could install XP on a new partition to be created using the installation program itself. But the XP installation program fails before the installation starts with a message that an error has occurred and not further so that he could cause damage (the bottom line: stop: 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).)

When I rebooted, Vista has not loaded, but there is only a flashing cursor in the upper left corner of the screen. X (there is that no message as not found operating system, or something like that.
When I press on and/or press and hold F8 while loading the Bios, the same thing.
The laptop is also transformed the immediately after pressing the power on button, instead of having to wait 4 seconds.

Then I inserted the DVD of Vista Premium x 32 I have from my PC. This displays a message, press any key to boot from the CD/DVD... If I press a key, there is a bar "loading files" style back and after a loading bar Vista-style. After that, it still displays a flashing cursor in the upper left corner of the screen.
When I retried with pressing F8 and select last known good configuration, it blocks the same way.
When I retried with safe mode, the screen freezes after Loaded: \windows\system32\drivers\disk.sys

I also tried the Windows XP edition family, and Windows XP Edition - family + SP2, but all abandoned and gave the same error message.

I tried to start with the prompt with a CD of Windows 98 SE. It works, but it can not find the drivers for the DVD-disc drive and since W98 doesn't support NTFS I don't see what is on the C: partition. :-(

I did a recovery DVD because it is already on the D: partition and I do not plan on using Vista.
There was also a non dos partition of 1.5 GB at the beginning of your hard drive. This is mentioned in the guide of the 3-8 regarding the system recovery options.

Is there another way to take a look at the C:-partiton or get HARD drive recovery tool work?

If you say that the [http://backupmedia.toshiba.eu] Toshiba Recovery DVD, how did you it will work. ?:|

    Thanks for any advice.

    Hello

I must say that your ad is very interesting and dual boot is a topic where people can write about experiences.
Last month, I did my own experiences and want to share with you.
At first, I must say that your ad is a little confusing. Let's start with General things.

Dual boot (installation of two BONES) is without any doubt, and I see no problem here.
It is just important to have two partitions on the HARD disk. If you have preinstalled in C that you want to use in the future or create one with disk manager or just start the installation of the OS and the Windows installation to create the second partition.

If your laptop has two hard disks, you can also install the second partition on the first partition, which belongs to the second HARD drive.

With short words, all options are open and it's just important to know what you want to do exactly. If I understand you right, you cannot boot OS preinstalled.

The problem is that after having playing with partitions, you will not be able to use the saved on the HARD drive recovery image. This score from GB 1.5 has nothing to do with the recovery image, and it is characteristic of Vista. If everything is OK, you can enter if you F * to start and choose the first option called fix my computer.

You can see this option after using F8 at startup?

I really don't understand why you have this error message when you start installation of WXP. What you can do is to set the default BIOS settings and try again.

If you order the Toshiba Recovery DVD, you will be able to reinstall the OS and have once again the factory settings. Maybe you should buy it. OK, it costs about 40 Euros, but this isn't a bad idea to have the original recovery DVD. Perhaps one day you want to use Vista or you want to sell your laptop. It's good if you can also offer original recovery with her media.

Sorry if I forgot to comment on something in your ad. If you have any questions please let me know.

    Good luck!
