Hi Gary,.
I had the same problem today and Bugilla stopped working (2.17-based personalized version).
I solved the problem of correction buglist.cgi in installation of Bugzilla. Just look up the definition of the $serverpush and replace it with
My $serverpush = 0;
After that the interim page that causes the disorder disappears and all is well again.
Best regards
André

For months its been my firefox browser is out of date, saying tour so, today, I finally managed to update but when trying to install it, it removed my old version and when I tried to install the new one it says it was not compatible. So now I have a version that does not work and if I remove I don't have Firefox at all. I stress because everything (100) my favorites where on the old version.
I tried and tried to find an older version, but either they are either not compatible or the file does not exist. I'm a bit of a technophobe so I know what else to try.
Help, please

I'm using mac os x version 10.7.4 and I try to update Firefox 3.5.5 version to the latest version. The Firefox icon in my doc still persists and leads me to the old version of Firefox. If it's supposed to happen?
Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.
- Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
- Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
- Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
- Windows:
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
- C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
- Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
- Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
- Windows:
- Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
- Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
- Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!

How can I get rid of the pop-ups 'vulnerable', and is the version 3 really bad/insufficient year. I suspect that this is just a tactic for fear of selling new plug-ins, and I'm paranoid enough to believe that the mfgr. is likely to create "problems" to force me to pay to upgrade. What should I do?
If you have the free version of QuickTime, you can ignore the suggestion of Apple to go Pro, and you don't need to give your email address.
You bought QuickTime software for authoring? He is not eligible for updates?
It is very important to keep connected to the internet to update plugins, even that your authoring software is aging gracefully. Plugins run untrusted binary content of strangers and you could lose a lot more than a program accordingly.
I don't know if the new free version can coexist with the paid version old. Adobe Acrobat users often face this dilemma by updating the Adobe Reader plugin. I wonder if Apple has a page on this?

(I had a master password and I remember)
Did you remove your personal data when you have already uninstalled Firefox?
If you did with your personal data, including the saved passwords for your Firefox profile folder has been deleted.
If you kept your details then Firefox should have picked up this profile automatically.See also:

The latest version of Firefox to work under OS x 10.2.x, 10.3.x is the old Fx 2.0.0.20.
FX 3.0, 3.5 and 3.6 required OSX 10.4.x while Fx 4.0 requires 10.5 + and Intel. Initially, it was thought that OSX 10.3.9 could support Firefox 3.0, but found that this was not the case.
