Build table 2D-the only condition of case string

Hello

I'm having a problem when I am trying to build a 2D of the elements of the string table. Here's basically what I'm doing:

I'm loading the tables in different text files (Session_001.txt, Session_002.txt, etc.) and concatenate into 1 big table.

On each line of text Session files, there is the session number, various characteristics of hockey sticks, and then a couple results.

I want to be able to select the various features and then display the corresponding results. Currently, I'm working on the selection of the Session, and when I get this working, the rest would be similar (I guess).

The problem I have is that when I select the sessions that I want, the Array3 resulting (with all data) is filled with empty lines (table 1 d of the empty elements). I had the same problem when display a table 1 d (table 2) coming to show what Sessions had been selected, but I managed to fix that by searching for and deleting empty elements.

The problem lies within the structure of matter I. I compare all the elements in the first column of my huge 2D array with each number of the selected Session, and when it is 'true', that I keep the current line to go to table 3. If it is "false", nothing should happen (I have a registry change through my case 'false', but a line of empty strings is added to the table.

What Miss me?

I know this probably sounds very confusing, so I join you the only VI and a zip containing the VI and my text files.

Thank you!

Off topic (Finally, still on the topic of my VI), it will be possible to assign a different color for each type of stick (MX3, APX3) or the different type of marker for different types of shots (WS, SS), etc., when I want to display the results on the same graph? If not, stop now and I'm going to Matlab.

Oh my... Equal to true. I'm so ashamed.

I just started Labview on my internship 2 weeks ago. There are probably several simplifications I can do for my screws, but as long as they work and do not burn my laptop, I agree.

With respect to the conditional tunnel, I n, t really know to use it yet, but I found the problem with my registry to offset. I created a 2D array empty outside the two loops and added a registry to offset. I then build I tried to rely on another thread.

Resolved VI is attached to anyone who cares

    QUERY = "WHERE seq_num > 100"this condition would apply to all tables that we want."

    Yes, it will work for all tables, but ensure that all exported table must include this column.

    QUERY
    Default: no
    Goal
    Allows you to filter the data that is exported by specifying a clause of a SQL SELECT statement, which is applied to all tables in the work of export or a specific table.

    The query_clause is usually a WHERE clause for the selection of refined lines, but could be any SQL clause. For example, an ORDER BY clause can be used to accelerate a migration from a table in a heap in a table held in index. * If a [schema]. table_name is not provided, the query is applied to (and must be valid for) all tables in the export job.*

    Hi all

    I am facing a problem of deletion of a row in a table where the condition is in the other table. To ealaborate the scenario further Let's say I have two tables T1 (the transactions table) and T2 (Master Table). I want to delete a record in the table T1 by checking conditions lies in table T2.
    I tried with the query below, but this request deletion of records in the table two.

    DELETE FROM (SELECT * high INNER JOIN T2 on T1 page TP)
    THE top. TID = TP. TID
    WHERE at the top. DEAL_SITE_ID = inputparameter1
    AND (TP. SEGMENT <>inputparameter2 OR tp.segment is not null));

    Here the record is deleted in the two tables, but I don't want to delete the data in my table master i.e table T2.

  • Setting a different value to a text entry in the table of the adf conditionally

    Hi guys

    I work in Colombia - British ADF and ADF Faces.I have a table of adf upadable in which a text input is there in every page row.when is loading the input text is filled with-1 (i.e., the value of one of my columns in a table in the database). My goal is to make this entry blank when text the value retrieved is - 1 for this line. Entering text except-1 data will remain as it is.

    We set the value of this text of entry through inputtext2.setValue("") conditionally to the support of this page bean. But even if a given line is - 1, it contains the definition of the data of all the empty lines.

    Can anyone suggest me how to do this please?

    Put a transient attribute in your view object and use that one instead of the actual column.

    In the accessor get for the transient, did return null if the value of the real column is - 1

    In the setter, just delegate to the true Set accessor.

    One of the many reasons why store date information in VARCHAR2 columns (especially VARCHAR2 (200)) is a bad idea, it's that the data invalid get there, causing errors. Avoid the conversion of columns like that at times, if possible:

    SELECT     *
    FROM     production
    WHERE productiondate >= TO_CHAR ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'IW')

  • Build the name of guard of the table of the last element, but not the others. Workaround solution?

    Hello

    Sorry if this has been posted before, I did the search first, but can't find anything.

    Problem is that I have two configurations which are identical and must be ordered by a single vi. Given that they are the same, they are configured with the same sets of parameters so I decided to create a cluster of these and then build an array of clusters. In this way I need to use only a thread and if I need a given parameter I can get it easily from here (or so I thought) and also because I need to see if anything changes I can compare a thread instead of each of the parameters.

    The gui has the list of parameters, then in the block diagram I group them appropiately, using "Bundle name" and then each bundle in a table by using "build the table. Problem is when I have the index in the array for the first place of the configuration and usage to unbundle the parameters I need, using "ungroup by name" (although if I use "Unbundle" the same thing happens) and lo and behol, the output names come from the configuration of the second, not the first.

    Here's the curious thing, though, even if the names are all wrong, that the values are correct. I could live with that, but it's more boring it will be another very difficult user to understand the schema more this is just a proof of principle to test with two, eventually there will be eight or more and who's going to get really confusing.

    Is there a way to get around this? Even if it is to change the names after unbundling.

    Check the attached vi to see what I mean.

    I think you forget an important point on the tables.  The only thing that may be different between each element of a table is its value.  The elements in the array must all share the same properties.  This would therefore include the names of the different elements that make up the cluster that is a table element.

    It seems that the last group that builds in the table is the one that defines the names of the items that are in the element of the cluster.  You must give all elements of the array with the same name within the cluster.  Or use a cluster of clusters rather than a table of cluster to create your data structure.

    My goal is to create indexes on/employee/departments/department/departmentWings/departmentWing/name.

    I followed the steps mentioned in Create index for an XMLType column.

    One of the measures mentioned in the link above is to rename the table in the collection (in my case departmentwing) using the DBMS_XMLSTORAGE_MANAGE procedure. RENAMECOLLECTIONTABLE.

    So I tried the following:
    SQL > START
    DBMS_XMLSTORAGE_MANAGE 2. () RENAMECOLLECTIONTABLE
    OWNER_NAME 3 = > "XDB_TEST"
    Table_name 4 = > "EMPLOYEEXMLTYPE_TABLE"
    5 COL_NAME = > NULL,
    XPATH 6 = > ' / employee/departments/Department/departmentWings/departmentWing/name. "
    7 COLLECTION_TABLE_NAME = > 'DEPTWING_TABLE '.
    (8);
    9 END;
    10.

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    If the procedure has said that it has completed successfully, I couldn't see the created DEPTWING_TABLE.

    SQL > DEPTWING_TABLE DESC;
    ERROR:
    ORA-04043: object DEPTWING_TABLE does not exist

    I am left helpless. Can someone please?

    Hello

    First of all, are you sure that the nested tables generated during the registration of the scheme?

    You must annotate the schema with xdb:storeVarrayAsTable = 'true' and use the option genTables-online true for registration.
    Then you should see something like this:

    SQL> select table_name, table_type_name, parent_table_name, parent_table_column
      2  from user_nested_tables
      3  ;

    TABLE_NAME                     TABLE_TYPE_NAME                PARENT_TABLE_NAME              PARENT_TABLE_COLUMN
    ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    SYS_NTy8fd9LOzSmun4whyTbJC4g== department384_COLL             EMPLOYEEXMLTYPE_TABLE          "XMLDATA"."departments"."department"
    SYS_NTeAiIyOu0Q9G3nvWMtcM6mQ== departmentWing381_COLL         SYS_NTy8fd9LOzSmun4whyTbJC4g== "departmentWings"."departmentWing"

    In addition, according to the manual (xdb_easeofuse_tools.pdf):

    For Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2) and above, this function accepts only, XPath
    the rating as a dotted notation. If the XPath notation is used, a setting of namespaces
    may also be necessary.

    So, on your version, you must use the notation 'dot ':

    SQL> call XDB.DBMS_XMLSTORAGE_MANAGE.renameCollectionTable(
      2    USER
      3  , 'EMPLOYEEXMLTYPE_TABLE'
      4  , NULL
      5  , '"XMLDATA"."departments"."department"'
      6  , 'DEPT_TABLE'
      7  );

    Method called

    SQL> call XDB.DBMS_XMLSTORAGE_MANAGE.renameCollectionTable(
      2    USER
      3  , 'DEPT_TABLE'
      4  , NULL
      5  , '"departmentWings"."departmentWing"'
      6  , 'DEPTWING_TABLE'
      7  );

    Method called

    SQL> select table_name, table_type_name, parent_table_name, parent_table_column
      2  from user_nested_tables;

    TABLE_NAME                     TABLE_TYPE_NAME                PARENT_TABLE_NAME              PARENT_TABLE_COLUMN
    ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    DEPTWING_TABLE                 departmentWing381_COLL         DEPT_TABLE                     "departmentWings"."departmentWing"

    Hope that helps.

  • build the table only if a case structure

    Hi adamkse,

    Here are a couple of screws for you to watch. I think they both what you want, the second is a better way.

    Notes:

    Enjoy the indexing feature in order to remove the indexing of tables yourself. So you don't have to change for the iterations of the loop if the size of your input array changes.

    You have been reset table "ucodes' each time as the outer loop. Then, which has been corrected.

    The reason why the second vi is better, because a table in a loop construction is generally a bad idea. LabView must make memory allocation as the table grows (does if the picture remains very low). It may take time, so its best to avoid it. First do you the big picture as he possible can get, then replace the elements starting at zero. Keep track of the actual size with a shift register, and then resize the table at the end.

    I hope this helps.

  • ADF: Re-apply the where condition of a view object and updating table

    Hello

    I have a table for documents, with columns for the title of document, document type and so on. There is also a column called "receiver".
    In the viewobject based on the table, I have a condition that only the lines where the receiver is null should be included. In other words: only documents unassigned should be indicated in the table.

    The purpose of the page that contains the table is to assign documents to the receivers. The idea is that the user enters a name in the column of a receiver or several lines and then press a button of validation.
    When a line - a document - has been assigned to a receiver and the change is committed, this line is more fills the where of the viewobject condition and I would like my page to reflect the fact that. In other words: as soon as one or more lines have been assigned to a receiver and the changes are committed, the lines should disappear from the table and the page.

    What is the best way to achieve this?

    Kind regards
    Andreas

    To do this is to add a navigation case to the same page and use this case to navigation after validation. Should run the query again, it costs you a full page sent.

    Another way to do the validation and the use of a managed method bean to re run the iterator.

    There is no error is indicated in the program. If someone knows about it please try to find solutions and help me out of this problem.

    I have attached my program with this message.

    Thank you in advance!

    (1) FOR loops are your friend here.  You can make a slight restructuring using loops, and then you will have less mess to deal with, the inner loop through tunnels of autoindexing to make it even simpler.

    (2) I would only treat the numeric values of the characters.  So go terminal of control of the chain, the capital letters and byte array to before the outer loop.  You can use a size of Board over there to tell how many times the outer loop to iterate.

    (3) the Index table is extensible.  So you only need over the index of the first, and it will increment itself, as it develops.

    (4) you need to finish the lookup table (table 3D)

  • Build/update dynamically the table 3D

    Hi all

    I'm having a problem with the dynamic generation of a 3D of the following set of data table:

    x: {1,2,3,4,5}

    y: {1,2,3,4,5}

    Z_1: {1,2,3,4,5}

    Z_2: {1,2,3,4,5}

    Z_3: {1,2,3,4,5}

    Z_4: {1,2,3,4,5}

    Z_5: {1,2,3,4,5}

    where there is (5) Z amplitudes associated with each measurement location.  What I am able to statically (from the above values x and y tables 1 d and 2D table Z) is to create a 3D Board made up of x and is indexed intensity to the graphic format of the 2D tables.  Each page of the table corresponds to each of the 5 Z amplitudes measured at each location.  In the attached VI, the Array Build function works perfectly for the static case where the entire data is available.  I followed the example of a another discussion forum will be subject to the provisions of nest two loops construction 2D array in the inner loop and incrementing the pages on the outer loop. The static situation is resolved.

    However, my goal is to graphically present data he is taken, point by point, to the user.  The other attached VI simulates this scenario, incrementation of x and y positions based on the measure button.  Z matrix indicator shows that the 2D Array (each individual page) is in the proper format.  The construction of the 3D picture is dynamically where I'm having problems.  I tried to build table and replace a subset of table, but none of these functions to produce the desired result.

    In the case of building table, 3D table is correctly based on the first measure: for x = y = 1, 2D array page0 is set Z_1 in position (1,1), page1 has the Z_2 value in the position (1,1), page2 Z_3, etc..  However, on the second measure, as expected, the berries are concatenated page5 have Z_1 values in the (1,1) and (2,2) positions.  This result is properly formatted, however, should the counted array 3D page is limited to 5 (page0, 1, 2, 3, 4).  So ideally, page5 should in this case replace page0.  So build array results in the correct format but concatenation is not desirable.

    The subset of spare board was made with the index of the page (outside of the loop) number to specify the subset of the 3D Board needs to be replaced.  The result was an empty 3D array.

    Thank you any help to solve this problem.

    Any suggestions on how to handle filling out table 3D of unknown size?

    If the size of the final table has a reasonable upper limit, you can initialize an array of slightly oversized, then keep using the subset of the table replace. It will be much faster and more effective memory than gradually more and more large networks.

    When the purchase is made, you can cut to the final size.

    Aircraft add to a table 3D using 'insert into array' or 'Build array' (favorite?), cause memory frequent shifts and might slow down your code by orders of magnitude in casing of excessive fragmentation of memory.

  • LOV cascading if I don't have only one table with the customer name and the name of the product in the ADF.

    Hi Please help me how to use cascade, if I don't have only one table with the customer name and the name of the product in the ADF... I use Jdeveloper 11.1.

    For the client, I used customer VO with client list to fill but to populate the product that I use bind variable PrODUCT_NAME select distinct from TABLE where client_name =: bindCustomer

    so first of all, I need to set the variable of liaison on behalf of the selected customer.

    Can you please tell me how to set this variable binding in this case.

    After you set the LOV to your product attribute, correspondting VO in the LOV will appear under view accessors.

    Change the accessor of the view, you will see the variable binding. Set its value to the customer field of the parent object.

  • Get the only table name in model executing the revese engineer but columns do not come

    Get the only table name in model executing the revese engineer but columns do not come. I used the standard procedure.  Please let me know why I am not getting column in my model.

    I have attached the screen shot for the same thing.

    This is a table or a synonym? In the case of synonym or try to add the property as it appears below thread.

    Reverse engineering a synonym in ODI 11 G.

    Or maybe go with personal setbacks.

  • How can I pass a condition of the table in the sql statement?

    For example, in the table in the COND Varchar2 column (200) there is the value ' VAR > 10'.

    | COND |

    |' VAR > 10' |

    where VAR is the name of the table column. I would like to make statement CASE WHEN VAR > 10 AND 0... I tried with as subquery

    WHEN BOX (SELECT COND FROM TABLE WHERE...) THEN 0, but it does not work.

    Hello

    You can do this by using dynamic SQL.

    that is to say:

    declare
      v_stm      varchar2(4000);
      v_cond      varchar2(100);
      v_result    integer;
    begin
      select cond
        into v_cond
        from yourtable
      where a=1;

      v_stm := 'select case when '||v_cond||' then 0 ...';

      -- dynamic sql
      execute immediate v_stm
        into v_result;

    end;
    /

    Remember that, in general, dynamic SQL has a performance degradation that SQL static and should be avoided when possible.

    Storage condition or the SQL statements in the tables is not a good practice.

    Kind regards.
