buold a mask for a waveform

Hi all

I have to build a mask for a signal and check if the actual signal remains in my mask range...

How can I build it?

for example: as I entered a 2V square wave + 2V, f is 1 KHz

My range of +/-0, 2V

Obviously I wish that labview could ride my waveforms and check if the real, one stay in the other two.

The limits are bound by some time, but in practice, you must set the limits according to whatever your unique purchase. You can of course apply each acquiring signals repeated up to the limit.

The limits and the waveform is aligned defining t0 of each are the same.

  • create masks for marked particles

    Hello world

I'm trying to creat masks for each marked by IMAQ label.vi particles. I did use IMAQ labeltoroi, get the return on investment for each particle, and do IMAQ roitomask 2. However, the images of these masks are related images. Do you know how creat masks in the coordination of the original image?

    Best,

    Doogie

I think that the lable particle simply sets the value of each BLOB in a class to an integer it is IE 1,2,3,4 for 4 groups, (I have LV here right now so it's memory).  You can just itterate through the lable values and use the image to compare or beach threshold function to make masks where you keep the pixels that are equal to this value.  What will a new image with only the PIX = 1 where the value is equal to the value labled, it will have the same size and shape as the original image of lable.

    Hello!

I can't understand how I can use a text layer or a shape as a mask for the layer below.

See the attached example and you'll know what I mean. (I created the example with simply by cutting the outline of the text in the white box).

I need a text mask and I need to be editable as text. Don't know if this is possible, experienced with clipping masks, but I can't get it to work.

  • How can I use A clip to create a mask for clip B?

Hello. I am having trouble with my project.

I have a video with subtitles and subtitle down background. The subtitle is at 50% opacity, you can therefore still a bit see through it. I want to make it look slick and apply the blur of the main home, but only the part that is covered by the bottom of subtitle. I can't draw the mask manually, because real captions and background are animated, so if I had to draw the mask manually I have to go frame by frame, which would take me literally days.

I hope I did my clear explanation. If this isn't the case, basically, I need to clip one area allows you to create an area of masking to another clip. The clip is also animated, so the mask must adapt accordingly. I tried to find a solution for hours without success.

    Thank you in advance.

It is not very clear to me, but you seem to be saying that the subtitle background is animated, somehow? Is this true?

Its size will vary depending on the actual size of the subtitles, isn't it?

And you want the area of the main element which, at one point throws behind this background to subtitle the blur?

  • Number of averages for time waveform acquisition

    Hello

It is on the configuration of the device - settings of the acquisition.

in the parameters of the collection file, can I know is there a way to feed the number of averages and % of overlap between averages aquire waving time.

    Thank you!!

    BR

    Pattabi

In version 3.0 of InsightCM, we will support an average and overlap on the data of the spectrum Viewer.  These settings will be applied only to the visualization of the spectral data and will not apply to calculations on the waveform or spectral data form.

This will meet your needs?  Or are you interested in doing an average and are superimposed on the spectral data to then be used for calculations that are based on spectral data - such as 1 x Magnitude, etc.. ?

    Thanks for the question.

  • Best way to apply the Format mask for the fields in a Table of the ADF

    Hi all

    12.1.3 JDev

I would like to introduce the price data, quantity etc. fields of the ADF Table of the user interface in a specific format.

These formats need to be dynamic, because they change according to the locale selected and sometimes they differ in the same locale.

I tried approach converter custom but not satisfied because it is called several times when it is used in a table of the ADF and when asked that told me that this is the behavior.

Custom converter of an attribute in a table called several times

So, please suggest a better way to apply the format mask (which has min & max fractions, grouping, rounding) to the fields in the Table of the ADF.

Please let me know if you need more information.

    Thank you

    B S Bilodeau.

The second question, which I've mentioned here is the converter is called several times for each click on the table.

This isn't a problem, this is the expected behavior (and you can't avoid it).

  • How to set up a mask for a mp4 clip

I want to display only a part of a clip mp4 using a mask of bits 1.  a black rectangle with a white hole in it so that the clip shows thru.

If the hole should be black or white and she was on top of the clip (higher number of sprite?) or less (lower figure). Can I use a vector shape that changes form and scales and moves the hole slowly while the clip is playing, or is it limited to the use of bitmap images only?

I have for the value of the clip and inserted false sprite directToStage a prepareFrame me to set member of the clip on the mask before the frame with do go it to the section in the next section... But it does not work.

No idea why not? An examle script would be useful...

If you use QuickTime, you can set the Member next to video as the mask member. The clip is DTS.

  • Apply a clipping mask for an item that's envelope distort?

I'm creating a logo for a uni project.

I created my logo in black and white, is simply a word that I have envelope deformed in a circle.

I now want to apply a clipping mask to give it a gold leaf effect, it works when I do normal typed text but not in my text that had been published.

Can someone tell me if it is possible to create a clipping with gold leaf mask, when I distorted the text already?

When I apply the envelope distort after the clipping mask, it does not give me the same results...

    k,

You can object > envelope distort > Expand, then use it as the clipping to the clipping mask.

  • I need help to create a mask for a paint to put on a t-shirt.

    mockup.jpg

Right now I use my paintings on t-shirts, but they are square or rectangular images (like the one pictured to the left). When printing on t-shirts, it seems unprofessional.

I would like to use a mask in Photoshop Elements to have the edges of the erasure of the paint in the color of the t-shirt but not smooth (as pictured to the right). It will disappear in a transparent background with a PNG file for the t-shirt to work in various colors.

I would use a mask that looks like a little grunge on the edges, sort of a fuzzy look uneven or similar projections as it fades to transparent edges.

Is there anyone who knows how can I use a mask in Photoshop Elements to achieve this. I tried several tutorials, but I think that they are based on the full version of Photoshop than Photoshop Elements, because some menu choices for masks do not appear in the items when I try to follow the directions.

I can create my own grunge template, but I have no idea how to make a mask and then apply the mask to the image before using it as a t-shirt. I do not feel myself, all I need is the PNG file with transparency on the edges to blend into the color of the t-shirt.

I have attached a model of what I'm trying to do.

    I use Photoshop elements 11.

    Help, please! Thank you.

I would like to know how to save the border as a model for other photos if you have the time to explain.

The model will be a fixed size, so it can only be used on photos of the same size.

For some reason any grunge tutorial framework link now goes to www.2020media.com, and I do not remember what was the last option.  In any case, I suppose you have something like that.  I created the image on a black canvas by as stated in my previous post.

    1. Ctrl-click on the mask to select the black part (or the portion of the picture if you created the image directly on the image).

    2. invert the selection so that the transparent border is now selected:

3 copy the selection to the Clipboard (edition > copy).

    4. file > new from the Clipboard.  This creates the black border on transparent background.

    5. save the file as a psd or png. This is the model.

To add the template to a photo:

    1. open the template file.

    2. Select > all (or Ctrl-A).  Copy the selection to the Clipboard (edition > copy).

    3. open the photo file and rename it to background layer.

    4. Paste from the Clipboard (Edition > paste). You now have this:

5 Ctrl-click on the border layer to select the border.

6 activate the image layer and delete the selection:

    8 remove the border layer.

    9. save the image as a png image.

  • With the help of Mocha in After Effects to make masks for the classification in Speedgrade

I just discovered that there is a plugin that comes with AfterEffects CC called "Mocha", it's a track quite powerful tool of creation. And... it can be used to create masks which SpeedGrade can then rank, even masks of caterpillars that currently Sg may be uneven with.

If I understand correctly the basic procedure is to create an adjustment in PrPro layer, then create a new computer with one more in Ae, create and apply a Mocha "form", including any order tracking, then going back to PrPro and through her link Direct to the Sg, and then we can rank a mask of sections of key that will work as expected. I am that noting on the forum just as something for the people, and of course... any that with all the experience in the use of masks in Mocha is MORE than welcome jump in and ' splain us!

    Neil

Well, of course, it's a... little more complicated than that. You cannot use the freebie Mocha plugin, you must buy the stand-alone for $95 or more, then use it to make a shape... and learn how to use this program as well. So... some extra expenses, some additional necessary training, but... then we can get the caterpillars & complex masks which can be classified in Sg.

  • Mask for some frames?

I wish I had a mask only for a time on my images. I mean, it's... I have 30 seconds of footage, I want to leave say 10s and 15s to see that some of my images, the rest when I want images unmasked. After this point, I don't want anything hidden more head room. How I managed to do this was by double-clicking on the rectangle tool (this mask set whole sequences). Can I use hold keyframes to change the mask at the desired time. Is there a way to say just After Effects to turn off the mask (see the sequence with no masks) on some images. Thank you

There are about a dozen ways I can think of to achieve your goal.

    1. Use the track matte and simply animate the opacity. You could use a duplicate of your images with a mask or just draw a shape layer.
    2. Put two masks on your film. The first would be created by selecting the film layer and double click on the rectangle tool. The second mask will be drawn to hide the box allowing you to hide or show. Then the mask modes would be possible to assign to add and animate you the opacity of the rectangular mask.
    3. Draw a mask and then animate mask expansion. This would give a nice effect if you also anime feather mask as the expanded mask.
    4. Use Effects > channels > presets and animate Alpha Set of Alpha to full
    5. Use Effects > channels > channel shift and animate take Alpha's Alpha to full
    6. If you use CC 2014 you could use effect > channels > presets with alpha set to Off, then add an option of composition using the mask and animating the opacity

I could go on and. If there is no animation required for a mask I almost always use a matte. I find much easier to deal with for most of the projects.

  • Position of the text and the mask for the position was separated

    Hello

I tried searching for this solution on several different forums, but no luck.  Maybe I'm phrasing the wrong question.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I hope it's something pressing.

    What I'm trying to achieve:

I want to have this sentence scroll down, left to right: "we had a good time."

I want seems to US first by using the scale, but the following words that follow to be made then slide from left to right, any entry behind the word on his left.  So after 'We', a fraction of a second later, I want the word 'had' to come behind the word 'We' - BUT be hidden by a mask until it clears the word '' We. ''

After that, I want the word or the letter 'a' to do the same thing after that and so on, and so on.

I hope I explained this correctly.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Erik

Have another layer to 'Us', then use a track matte for the other layer.

  • Form of mask for path problem

So, I'm probably doing something stupid, but here goes.

I have imported a null and drew a shape with the pen tool.  Then, I clicked on the shape of the mask and copied.  Finally, I stuck to the position of the Null value.

So, what happens is that both the original shape of the mask and the path then shift in different directions, or who are where I drew at the origin of the shape.

I tried this on when everything was 2D and where everything was 3D, but I can't make it work right.

    Any thoughts?  Thank you.

Your workflow is obstructed to the top because you expect to have the mask with a stay of layer while the position of the layer is changed.

Try your mask path of drawing on a solid that is the same size as the model and make sure that the scale is set to 100%. Then:

    • Set an image of the unique key for the mask path holding doen the key Alt/Option and press M
    • Copy this key frame
    • Set an image of unique key for your null by selecting the value null and pressing Alt/Option + m, and then paste.
    • The null exactly follow the path on the solid layer.

Transform a mask path to a path of position will not work correctly if the layer is scaling. Using the keyframe trick ensures that you will always have the success of converting a mask path to a path of position.

If you copy a layer mask and then paste the path as position will change the data on the same layer mask position and moves the shape layer. It is a normal behavior. If you want that the mask path to stay in the same place in the comp you can not move the layer without changing anchor. or use the Pan tool behind. To make your workflow works, you must keep the Null value in the same position by adding the path data to the position and by using an expression to reverse the position for the anchor point data. This would defeat the motion of the null value.
