  15 - e020tx is the model and there a processor i7 and switchable graphics with Radeon HD 8670 so it is pretty high-end as laptops go, but it's what they are. On laptops in general in most cases, including your case, no video 'card is' to be removed, replaced or upgraded. She is soldered directly to the motherboard.   I have a HP Pavilion 15 laptop. I upgraded my windows PC 8.1 for Windows 10 (64-bit) and bluetooth in the box wireless icon is missing and I do not see the bluetooth drivers in the device manager driver custom anymore.my bluetooth introduce yourself at all, I tried unistalling all pilots under networking and their resettlement and my internet has and is working fine. Although the bluetooth does not appear in the devices I have no idea why I worked hours so he could work with anything does not. Also I do not understand how the Bluetooth support service can run withpout a good driver installed. I just want to be able to use my headset bluetooth on my laptop. I tried all the drivers, I could think too much of that and similar to laptops.

  I have a HP Pavilion dm4 laptop of 2.5 years. The first hinged on both sides broke that makes it harder for the laptop to close properly and now the frame is breaking apart. Is there a way I can get/buy replacements before other parts are screwed up.

  Yes, I also have this problem (dm4-1050ea).

  It all started on February 2015, when my aunt noticedv that my laptop was nt close properly.  It could be be made to do by pressing half upper (screen cut) to the front to the rear of the closure.

  The hinges then becomes deective that the screen don't would not SOUPLESE nd would not sit just to the place (angle) you open to.

  Following the hinges too stiff beame to exploit, came shortly after the left of the screen/lid and the window broke near the LH hinge (rather than though the bezel as shown in the image above). Then the right hinge broke off, then the screen become deective (mainly a band along the LHS - worked with detached hinges OK))

  So, I find myself with computer work, not 100% functional & broken and needs special care to use. the screen does not work in all areas (a replacement looks like £30-$50), with the virtually hanging screen, need to rplace lying hinges (£10-$15) and also nees any other bits (?) and the knowledge to fix it.  HP say they can't stand any more of this model and have no theparts (from end of 2015).

  It may be beyond the capacity of an almighty ccompany such as HP to find parts, but it does not seem beyond the my ability to get parts of - maybe-2nd hand - other HP broke! - But what I lak is kno detailed ho a skill to perform any repair.

  No way to add a touchscreen. I don't know how you changed Intel Radeon graphics card, unless you have installed a different motherboard. The original motherboard has two graphics chips, so if you install the right driver you can access the AMD Radeon HD M 7470.

  The processor could theoretically be upgraded to an i7, but these improvements are rarely economically justified because of the high cost of processors unique and time required for doing the upgrade. Somehow, I think less than 10% of the improvements that we are discussing on this Forum actually. You simpler and better (more efficient) upgrade is to install an SSD. You will think that you have an i7 and 16 GB of RAM.

  Last year, I bought a HP Pavilion 15 laptop but not the has not used to play DVD until last night. When I inserted the DVD, the computer gave me a bunch of files, I assumed they were the video clips. When play you a DVD on a TV screen, you see the main menu, and other options such as subtitles or film scenes that you can select to start. But I could not see these selections on my computer screen. However, at some point, they have shown. When they showed up, I was not able to click on them. Basically, I could only click Arrow Start to start the movie in its entirety, if I stopped and wanted to select certain scene in the middle of the movie, I was out of luck and unable to do so. At least three times, the DVD stopped playing and says was a mistake, then I had to restart the whole thing again.

  Frustrated, I took my old laptop Dell Windows XP and played the DVD disc it. My old machine actually has everything I wanted to, it has a control panel with all the buttons to play, Pause, Stop, Rewind, forward and sound Volume, etc. He worked as a TV and listed all the options/movie scenes I could select on what I intended to choose.

  I have a hard time believing that a one-year-old Windows 8.1 has fewer features than an old Dell XP. Is there a setting that I don't tip? Someone has an idea, which is not set correctly?

  I understand that you are having difficulty playing your DVDs to the point 8.1 of Windows but it will play well in your XP machine.

  Microsoft did not include as many files codec in Windows 8 as in previous versions.  Here are a few links that I think can be useful:
