• Burn movie to DVD disc DVD5

  Hello

  I have a movie file that is in the format DVD5

  My computer is a MacBook Pro running Yosemite.

  After I burn this movie to a DVD disc I can not play because it consists of many other files and they are not recognizable and etc.

  I used the HandBreake converter that converted the movie in m4v format. After that, it wasn't a problem to burn and watch the movie.

  My question: Mac has some utility or the trick that would burn DVD5 format directly to the disc and play without problem?

  In other words: DVD5 file have I always convert first before burning?

  As far as I can tell DVD5 is based on the amount of data on a DVD, nothing to do with the film format. In this regard, it's like you asking, "I have a word on a piece of paper, how I put on a piece of paper?

  Most likely your film is in a video DVD format. Open with a DVD player.  There is no conversion utilities that are native to the Mac, since with the exception of the home videos just about every movie conversion involves an illegal measure.

  To create a video DVD base that should play in a free
  permanent drive DVD... try the following...

  First... read the DVD Flick Guide to familiarize

  Open DVD Flick and insert a blank DVD in your drive.

  If the window of Autorun from your computer... just close it.

  Click the project settings button and check... Video /.
  Target format... residents United States... Choose... NTSC /.
  Accept.

  The title button left click Add and navigate to your
  Video clips and select the ones you want on the DVD.

  You can have by selecting one and then use
  the up and down buttons.

  Left click on the button create DVD / OK / Yes / Yes.

  Please wait while the DVD is created.

  When the text "Completed successfully" is displayed you
  DVD Flick can close. Now you can eject your DVD
  and play in your DVD player.

  At some point you might want to buy more
  Advanced Cyberlink, Nero, Roxio, software
  Ulead, etc... but at least it is a start.

I gave it to a friend to look at who had no dvd player.  They tried to watch on their computer, and it wouldn't start.  Why?  It should have come with the Menu screen and the PLAY button.  Previous versions of Premiere Elements have always worked both ways.  Puzzled.

  If you are provided with an old Mac installation disks, they will probably have software iLife for them. One of the applications in iLife's iDVD. Apple is no longer supported or distributed iDVD, but I told myself it stil works on El Capitan.

  Welcome to the Microsoft Answers community.

  On some of the DVD player, you will not be able to play DVD + RW discs.  You will need to use DVD + r (read DVD) drive and check if it works.

  You could try the following:

  Fill any DVD burning software. These programs may be trying to use the player, which prevents access to the Windows disk. Programs to look at include:

  • Roxio product family
  • Power DVD
  • WinDVD
  • Direct Media
  • Windows Media Player
  • Nero Burning ROM

  Update the firmware on the optical drive and the BIOS of the computer. In some cases, the firmware of the drive may be damaged or the BIOS can 'lose' the reader. Visit the Dell drivers and downloads site Web and enter your Service tag to get the updates specific to your computer.

  Since you have a new Dell computer, you can go to the Dell site for the support of this new computer.

• Why my dvd creator has stopped burning audio tracks?

  I used windows to burn copies of the movies torrent dvd creation and all of a sudden the program just to the top and stopped burning audio in the movie file...   ·        What application you're using to play the DVD?

  ·        You are able to hear the sound when you create an overview with the DVD Maker?

  Method 1: I suggest to restore the settings for creating Windows DVD to default factory like audio and video filters sometimes cause this problem.

  To restore settings, try the following steps.

  (a) open Windows DVD maker.

  (b) click on Options.

  (c) click on the Compatibility tab.

  Do one of the following:

  a. to turn off a filter, clear the check box next to the name of the video filter.

  b. to activate a filter, select the check box next to the name of the video filter.

  (c) to restore the default list, click on restore all default values.

  d. restart DVD creation and burning a DVD again to check if the problem persists.

  e. When you restore the settings by default, the list and the filters settings are reset to the last known good setting.
