Burn music and playlists on a DVD to play in another computer?
I have a lot of music and playlists on a single computer. I would like to take to work with me. Work, however, I cannot transfer my music and playlists on their machine.
I burn a lot of music on a DVD before, but had to build a playlist on the other computer. Is there a way to create and burn a playlist that will point to the music on the disc?
Ed
Hi Ed,
You can try to burn the DVD in Windows Media Player, and then try to read the music files on the other machine & check if it works very well.
If you use Windows Media Player 11, you can follow this link.

Hi Dwight,.
Thanks for posting this question in the Microsoft Community.
I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I'll certainly try and help you in the matter of fixing.
1. you have any security program installed in the computer?
2. are you aware of any changes made to the computer before the show?
You can run the Troubleshooter to library and check. You can also run the Windows Media player settings Troubleshooter and check if it helps.
I suggest to fix the Windows Media database as it might have become corrupted.
Method 1: To do this, follow these steps:
a. exit Windows Media Player.
b. for Windows 7: click Start, run, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click on OK.
c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
d. restart Windows Media Player.
Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
Method 2: If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:
a. exit Windows Media Player.
b. If you run Windows 7, click Start, run, % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.
c. Select the folder Media Playerand then click delete on the file menu.

Hello
Welcome to the Microsoft community!
This problem occurs if a necessary codec to play the file is not installed on the computer.
- The problem occurs with all the files?
- Other files work well which is not there in the playlist?
Step 1:
Open the troubleshooting Windows Media Player settings Troubleshooter

Codecs: Frequently asked questions
Step 3: Check if you have the latest video drivers installed on the computer. You can log on to the computer for the same manufacturer site. Also, check the latest Windows updates. Check if all related drivers are available in the optional updates.
Step 4: Adjust graphics hardware acceleration. To do this, follow these steps:
a. open the screen resolution by clicking the Start button, Control Panel, and then, under appearance and personalization, click on adjust the screen resolution.

I went into my music and tried to watch my playlists but right as I clicked it the whole app just crashes, even with just clicking on my songs. And they never load completely. My phone had a lot of problems and it is fairly new but Apple just says it's perfectly fine.
Hi Grayhmm,
I understand you encounter some problems of access to your content to Apple's music using the music app on your iPhone. I know it's important to have reliable access to your members of Apple's music! I want to make a few suggestions that can help you.
Given that you have noticed the music app if crush, I recommend you restart your iPhone first. Once you have restarted the unit, open the music application and see if you still notice any problems.
If the problem persists after restarting the iPhone, try to connect to your Apple ID in settings > iTunes and App Store. This will you sign out of your account Apple music and will remove all content you have saved on your device for offline listening. To do this, go to settings > iTunes and App Store and tap your Apple ID at the top of this page. Choose the option to disconnect, then connect you to the back using your Apple ID and password. Once you have signed in, open the music application and see if you continue to note any problems.
Take care!

Music and playlists suddenly disappeared?
Hello, I opened my iTunes this morning and I find that I only about 100 songs of my 80 GB of music. The songs that do not appear in my library seem to be in the clouds where there is a symbol of download of cloud beside them. If I click on "Get Info" for the song, no location is displayed. I opened the iTunes preferences and check the location of my music and that's okay... All my music is in this place, the files are still on my computer but not in iTunes. In addition, all my playlists are gone too. Help!
Preferences didn't tell iTunes where to look for the media, it doesn't mean that iTunes where to store the data added from there on.
Launch iTunes while holding down the option/alt key and select the iTunes Library.itl file in the iTunes folder (assuming that you are using the default settings). iTunes does not normally lose to this place, unless you use a library on another drive, but since you have not mentioned that at the beginning I must assume that you are using the default configuration.

I have a HP 15-r011dx laptop with windows 8.1 when on youtube or videos CNN, the speakers carack and pop. The ads CNN play before the story are very good as a DVD or my music loaded. I relly don't want to reinstall. I've had the computer for 3 weeks and I don't know if she was there from the beginning. I have updated all of HP, including the BIOS and tried another browser and adjusted the volume levels. Windows has made updates.
Hello
I have some other ideas, but it becomes more an environmental issue. Something (I couldn't say what) is causing interference with the audio. As this occurs only with online video/music and not anything ran computer laptop or DVD directly, this indicates that it would be something to do with the Internet.
There might be questions about Internet bad signals via wireless or bad connections to Web sites. You have problems with streaming?
You can also try to connect to your network with an Ethernet cable, to test. The question is perhaps more wireless streaming. Again, this could indicate some sort of interference.
You can also test your router with the nearby. If you notice the problem disappears in some places but is apparent or worse in others. Check to see what's around, other devices may cause the buzz.Have you noticed problems in streaming video and audio on other capable network devices (iPhone, Desktop, etc.).
The last possibility, again it goes back to poor/bad Internet could be the router itself. If it is older, then it might 'go. '
I know nothing of the above are direct troubleshooting suggestions for the laptop, but two doing exactly the same thing is very rare. More often then not it is and indication that "something else" happening. The idea and the tests above could help determine what exactly will.
I would like to know how it all happens.
Thank you. -
I want to be able to take music from my xp and play on my windows 7 and also be able to download all the music and stuff for my windows 7 to my xp without losing something.
You can create a music library using your windows media player on the XP machine and copy the entire contents of a USB key or external hard drive and copy the contents of the disc back on your Windows 7 machine.
For Windows phone 7, you can connect your phone to your laptop and synchronize the contents of your laptop on the phone using Windows Media Player. -

My DVD will play on my computer but not my DVD player
I created my first DVD using again, and it seemed to work perfectly. He would like to open and do what it was supposed to do on any computer. However, when I stick it in my DVD player for my tv, it starts the loading process and the two blue horizontal line scroll through the TV screen and then blocks my DVD player. I have to disconnect my DVD player and then plug it upward and quickly reached the eject button to release the DVD.

Something to try (if you're Windows)
Create an ISO of DVD output file, and then use the FREE http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to write the ISO to a DVD (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)
.
Read http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1322583 for notes on the Imgburn WITHOUT any add-ons toolbar installation
.
ImgBurn will read the mark of REAL from the disk drive, which isn't always the same as the label for the box (Memorex is known for 'nothing' buy and put inside a box of Memorex)
.
When you write to disk with Imgburn, use possible speed setting more SLOW, so your burner has the better chance of creating holes to burn laser "good, well trained"... Since no DVD player is required to play a disc burned, having a 'good' high-quality Virgin will help
.
Use Taiyo Yuden simple layer or layer two Verbatim or Falcon Pro for layer two printable inkjet

Music and creation of Windows DVD
1st tiem, using DVD creation. Is it possible to insert a part of a song at the end with a certain image and then have the next launch of the song?
Hi Southwestleo,
Windows DVD maker doesn't have the ability to add a part of the song at the end of the image, but can be done with windows movie maker. However, you can use third party software to do this.

Hpoefully can someone help me
You probably do not have the adequate software. This isn't for lack of the drive if you don't have the appropriate software that can open DVD movies. In my view, that the latest version of Windows Media Player has this ability. Try WMP and open the DVD player.
