Burned using Windows DVD maker photos are blurred when read
Pictures inserted in creation of DVD of Windows7 and burned to a DVD disc are dimmed when read on television via a DVD or Power DVD on the PC drive (origonal photos are sharp)
No problem with ULEAD DVD Movie Factory
Hi Barry Robbo.
1 when was the last time you were able to play a DVD burned successfully?
2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
3. What is the file format of the burned photos?
4. which Windows Player do you use to play the burned photos?
A DVD may not play properly in some DVD players or DVD - ROM readers to one of the following reasons:
- The type of drive may not be compatible. Some DVD players or DVD - ROM drives can play some types of DVD. For example, some DVD players only play discs DVD + R or DVD + RW, while others play only DVD-R or DVD - RW discs.
- The quality of the disc may be too low. Some DVD players or DVD - ROM drives will not play DVD if the disc is not in good condition or if it isn't a high quality disc. If your Player cannot play a DVD, you can try to burn again using a higher quality DVD.
- DVD decoding software can not be installed on the computer. If you try to play the DVD in the DVD drive on another computer, the DVD will not play if DVD decoding software is not installed on this computer.
To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.
Solve problems with creating a DVD-video using Windows DVD creation
Method 1
First of all, I suggest that you try to view the pictures burned using the Windows Photo Viewer.
1. open the photo library by clicking the Start button, click photos.
2. in the photo library, open the folder that contains the picture that you want to view and then click on the image.
3. on the toolbar, click the arrow next to Preview, and then Windows Photo Viewer.
View and use your pictures in Windows Photo Viewer

Method 2
If you are facing a similar problem in sight the pictures burned in Windows Photo Viewer, then uninstall any ligthscribe third-party burning software installed on the computer and then try to view.
I hope this helps!

Burned DVD using Windows DVD Maker times only once on my Blu - ray player
Original title: burned dvd
When I do a cd burned with my windows dvd maker, dvd will play only once on my blu - ray player separated from the TV. It works fine the first time, but the Player cannot find the disc any time after that. I use dvd + r discs. Is there a formatting problem, or do I need to get the dvd + rw discs. I'm really at a loss. Thanks for your help guys!
Hi frapachino21,
-The problem occurs with all CD/DVD you burn using Windows DVD Maker?
-After playback of the disc on the Blu - ray drive, the drive is not detected on your desktop/computer laptop with no problems?
To use certain kinds of CD or DVD discs outside of your computer, you must close the session, which is a process that prepares the disc to be read by other computers and players.
You can try to close or finalize the CD/DVD and check if it makes a difference.

Not possible to burn a DVD on the Satellite A100-338 using Windows DVD Maker
I have a Toshiba Satellite A100. I'm trying to burn a DVD using Microsoft Windows DVD Maker and a Sony DVD - RW. The laptop has a carpet * a DVD-RAM UJ-850 s ATA device.
When I try to burn a DVD, a progress bar appears and is about 2% before the hanging.
I also tried to format the DVD first, and which is progressing well before coming up with an error message saying that the drive could not be formatted.
Anyone got any ideas? Am I missing something completely obvious?
Hello
the following things could probably help you with your problem:
-> control if a new BIOS for your machine and a new FIRMWARE update for your DVD player are available. Update the BIOS and the player firnware
-> use another applications burning like Nero, CDBurnerXP or other thing that is usually know work well with almost all DVD - RW readers out there
-> use a DIFFERENT brands of DVD media because the carpet * a readers are really pickyIf all these steps fail, then it is possible that your drive is defective and must be replaced.
See you soon

When I burn a DVD using Windows DVD maker none of the captions appear
I made a movie with Windows Live Movie Maker from photos that had captions added to a photo editing program. It plays very well as a wmv on the computer, but when I burn it to a DVD with Windows DVD maker none of the captions appear. This can be corrected. I really want to remake the entire project by adding additional legends in WLMM.

When you save a short film he worked with sound and video, when recording a longer movie (1 h 22 min.) video worked with no sound, when I preview it was scientifically, what could have caused this to happen? (I tried twice with the same results)

Hello
I wish to inform you that if you want to publish a movie that you should have Windows Live Movie Maker in Windows 7.
Windows 7 does not have Movie Maker, you must download and install Windows Live Director.
You can download the movie from the link:

Windows Movie Maker-legends are incomplete when published in the final movie
My captions are incomplete when published in the final movie... :(
Hello everyone.
I use Windows Movie Maker to create a photo slideshow set to music. In addition, each photo has a caption.
Here's my problem:
Some photo captions are messy when I publish the movie. For example, "TCS 1999" shows as "SDC 199" in the published version, even if "SDC 2000" remains the same in the published version. " Not every picture is affected, but it is irritating.
I would appreciate anyone's insight into this matter.
Thank you! :)
