Burning a CD/DVD in Media Center gives the error: "SBEServer has stopped working".
Original title: SBEServer has stopped working
In the recorded TV box I select the BURN CD/DVD, then it goes to the next screen to check the select disc format.
I have check the VIDEO DVD and then click Next. When it stops
to go to another screen and then the error I mentioned above in the title.
See http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistapictures/thread/f84cb0e0-85bb-4e58-b00a-4a153a1ada6f. Scroll down the page until you find my post.
Basically, the merits of DirectShow are messy, and SBEServer can not find the codec to use.
Never underestimate your own stupidity.

I try to add files to WMC, but when I do a box arrives with "a necessary component of the WMC did not start successfully. Restart WMC"I did this several times, but the same message keeps coming back. Can anyone help?
I think that your account has administrative privileges.
You can create another user with administrator privileges and then recheck the problem there. -

Why my Catalyst Center: the host application has stopped working?
When I log on my computer, a window opens in two separate occasions stating that Catalyst Center: the host application has stopped working... How can this be repaired?
Hi Missy,
This probably isn't a problem MSE or malware. It could be a problem with the video software (which is otherwise commonly) and I have it on my system as well for my ATI graphics card.
This just started recently - as the last day or more? If so, try a system restore to before it started to see if that helps. If you use Windows 7, seehttp://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, seehttp://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. If you are using XP, seehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084. Sometimes this simple process made the rounds and sometimes that doesn't help - but it is easy and worth if she has recently begun.
Good luck!

I tried to save the file to my desktop and play from there, but the same thing happens. He will play the first few seconds and then stops. Hi alonzocarlton jr,.
Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft answers Forum. It is not clear to your last post if you have run a full computer scan until Rey suggested. If you have, what were the results? If necessary, you analysis your computer using Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free.
The question follows other users on the computer?
What is the brand and model of your computer? If your computer comes with Windows preinstalled, go to your production website and make sure you have the latest drivers for your BIOS, card mother and graphics card. Follow the steps in this link to manually install the drivers.

Essentially, it seems that in your message subject and body, you must download and install the latest version of the device for your AMD AMD video card driver. It is an AMD problem, not a problem with Microsoft.
However, since you have not given the brand & model of your computer or video card / the device in question - the best you can do is point you to where AMD is an application that allows you to scan and find the latest device driver and catalyst for your video card device software.
http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool
Good luck!
This could be one of several drivers you need (chipset motherboard, audio, network, etc.) in the well.
And Special Edition - just to make sure you're free infection/infestation - please do the following:
Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:
Remove everything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)
Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Remove all lies.
Restart the computer.
Uninstall all Plugins Internet (RealPlayer, QuickTime, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player, Adobe Air, Microsoft Silverlight, K-lite codec pack, etc.) of your computer.
Turn it back on.
- Reset Internet Explorer default.
- If used, reset the default values for Firefox.
- If used, reset Google Chrome to the default values.
- If used, reset Opera at the default values.
[Note: If you don't have any other browsers installed at that time, taste: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera are decent.]
Restart the computer.
Install the following plugins:
- Adobe Reader
- Adobe Flash Player
- Apple QuickTime
- Microsoft Silverlight
- Java Runtime Environment
- K-Lite Codec Pack BASIC
Be careful when installing each of them to NOT install anything other than the application. No additional software such as bars of tools or scanners virus or other - uncheck options you install (go through the steps of each and READ/UNDERSTAND what you click on!)
Restart the computer.
So - please come back here and reply to this message!

How can I fix windows 7 Catalyst control center host application has stopped working
I received the error: Catalyst Control Centre: host application has stopped working. I uninstalled the Device Manager Catalyst Control Center and restarted - after uninstall and reboot I got the same message saying: Catalyst Control Center: the host application has stopped working - I also checked for driver updates in the Device Manager and the device manager says my driver updates are up-to-date.
I just received a response from AMD for a known issue with Catalyst Control Center and Windows 7. You can go there. It worked for me the first time after a lot of troubleshooting.
How to solve the CCC is not loading/opening at initialization.
Scenario: the user tries to open/load the CCC through different methods, but it does not load. The problem may occur without any changes to the system or a Catalyst driver update or reinstall. This is issue mainly affects Windows 7 machines.
Cause: possible corruption of the Windows Global Assembly Cache (GAC). Usually, this requires the user to format and reinstall Windows.
Resolution: this solution has been tested - reproduced and resolved.
Remove all the ATI through programs and features in Control Panel using the Manager to install Catalyst (GPC). Restart the system in safe mode and follow these steps:
-Remove all ATI C:\programs files files and the C:\programs files (x 86)
-Go to the C:\Windows\assembly and sort by "public key token. Locate the following key token public "90ba9c70f846762e" which is
-associated with ATI. Usually only 2 entries. Remove 2 entries. Note: entries should be deleted (right click and select uninstall) since regular safe mode
-mode may cause a permissions error. 2 entries appear only in the systems concerned by this issue. This means that you want the 2 inputs on systems where the CCC charges, the entries do not exist.
-Close and restart normally.
-Reinstall the ATI Catalyst package.
I hope that you will get in working order!
