During the day I work on my website in adobe muse and save on creative cloud on my MacBook pro, in the night, I use a PC at home, I open the Clloud Creative files and all images etc. have warnings of re - link everything. Next day on PC I do same and same thing. I have files of site (all properties) stored on a hard drive of removebale, on Mac and PC and CC.  Please help me with a surefire way to get it, I think it's the problem of the root or folder? I tried saving funds of all files on both platforms as well and the same thing. I just works perfectly on my PC and Mac site. Finally, CC stores only assets only? Cause I re-paired everything creative cloud too and everything went wrong on the other computer. I thought that the CC would not spoil the files between platforms.  IM confuzzled BaAaAd Yes

  Hi Backlot,

  You will be able to use and edit your Muse file, even if you don't re - not link assets.

  It's just that you won't be able to change these assets, so you can redo the link assets whenever you need to make changes to the active files.

  Every time you switch machines, please save the latest version of your Muse file on a local disk and then use it. Using a .muse file saved on a cloud, or removable hard drive can cause problems.

  Also, I suggest you save a copy of all the files of components in a single folder (a local location, not the cloud or the removable hard drive); so, when Muse invite you to re - link assets, you can add a link to one of these files, and Muse will look in that folder for all your other missing links.

• Windows XP Prof have had problems for 6 weeks, he tracks and tried to download the removal tool from malware KB890830, halfway through, I get a message about a redirect HELP!

  Start the computer in normal mode, tried to download Microsoft Security Essentials, during download of Mozilla rediredted.

  Then restarted and I tried to download the malware Microsoft Windows (KB890830) removal tool, tried twice and was redirected each time.

  Update of the muse do not delete (.muse) Web site files, I guess somehow open recent list does not appear.

  I'm sure if you go to the place where your files are saved, you will be able to find them. In case you don't remember not the location and then search for the file with the extension .muse, search in windows Explorer (for windows) or the Finder, Spot (for MAC)

  Double click on the file will open in Muse.

  Is there a formatting issue that I don't see? It seems to me that once it downloads on BC, things are converted and will not be converted. It is vital that I can make changes to both the browser and the master file without interruption of the site as a whole and without having to redo work hours which is done via the browser in the editor.

  I spoke with business catalyst support and we have determined that the problem was not with the software but with the process. I just change each page through the site manager and not through the edit tab that was causing my whole question. I appreciate all your help!

  If you say 'no' to recovery, all changes made since the last Save will be lost.

  The error appearing on the launch, during recovery, says something so bad when you are already working with Muse and rather than saving a problem in your Muse .muse file set up an error message and stop.

  If you do not already revived and selected 'no' to recovery, we are able to recover manually you are unsaved work and fix the problem in the unsaved changes that is causing the error.

  Please send us the .muse file and the folder "Recovery" at "~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0/Local Store" at [email protected] as well as a link to this topic for the context. If files are larger than 20 MB, you'll need to use a service such as Adobe send & Track, Dropbox, creative cloud, WeTransfer, etc. file sharing.

  If you are publishing to Business Catalyst, go to file > properties of the Site in Muse. The 'Advanced' Panel will turn off IBE. We will address this problem in an update.

  Thanks to J-26, when you use the host of dream and Adobe Muse SSL/Https make a .htaccess file with this code:

• Redesign of the muse and SEO

  I've redesigned a Wordpress client site with Muse. Their existing site currently rises #1 in Google (Cairns hair salon) and I want to assure you that I'm not changing it (all the sites that I have worked on that day were only new sites).

  I kept the structure of the site itself with each page by keeping the same URL as the existing pages. Even the written content is virtually the same.

  If I simply download the new site to replace the current site, but don't touch any of the stuff Google Webmaster, the site will remain on top?

  The current site is www.scenehair.com.au and the site that I've redesigned home

  Sorry for the delay but the 301 redirects are essential for when you change the language that the page is coded in. since wordpress is php and muse is html, every page needs a 301 redirect.

  Here is an example:

  a Web page written in HTML:

  www.example.com/pagename.html

  a Web page written in PHP:

  www.example.com/pagename.php

  It won't matter if you keep the names of same page if you Web site are coded in another language.

  I created a blog through Adobe Muse and Business Catalyst customized instructions, I found in a video.

  Seems like everything works most of the time with the addition of styles custom to modulestylesheets.css however, not for the life of me I can get the text of the

  blog to cooperate. At least according to the video I am following.

  It's the css instructions, I add, and it is the only part that doesn't work - will not change. My guess is something somewhere else than this horse, but I'm not.

  I checked the layout of details of blogs and seems family of police entered the embed code of the blog and it is preceedence containing the css system.

  You can go to the blog content and change the font family: calibri, serif police-family: inherit, it should take the modulestylesheet.css police

• Rogue redirect HELP Please!

  I designed and implemented a page scrolling with a gallery Lightbox a couple of weeks. When he went to live he acted very well. Everything worked as it should. Now, regardless of browser (and even as a preview of the muse), when the user clicks on a thumbnail image it appears for a second and then redirects to a page (not site). The page of site not from a 'source' embeded video (at the top of the page).

  I checked all the miniature links to ensure no accidental changes or external links were made, and yet it always redirects.

  Here is a link ot the page and embed code. Maybe a keen eye can spot the problem or it's some kind of bug.

  As I says, no problem at all until this morning.

  UPDATE: I released the embed and it does not redirect. I tried another embed code, and it worked fine. This is a bug with the embed code. Help would be greatly appreciated.

  Embed code is the CODE. He has all the power of the code and so the full power of totally change everything the rest of your page. It must therefore be used with care and attention to detail. On our appearance infinitely long "to do" list is an article about adding some embed code validation level, but to present Muse plans no validation on code embed and apply without limits.

  Your original embed code contained an unclosed tag (a hyperlink with no end tag ) and so all suite your embed code be part of this hyperlink.

• Redirect HELP! Please

  Recently, I closed my Wordpress.org website and relaunched my site on Business Catalyst.  The domain is transferred, the website looks good, but I'm having a very difficult time to redirect links to the old site to the new.

  I tried to use the URL redirects in the Admin Panel.  I downloaded the example worksheet, it has completed and successfully transferred.  I noticed for each URL 'old' he created a new folder in my site, which just seemed odd, but I'm used to using a .htaccess.

  The bottom line is that the old URL are not redirect at all.

  For example:

  One of the old URL would be http://www.pdxhomevet.com/portland-mobile-veterinarian-faq/, which would have taken you to the FAQ of Wordpress page for my site.  The new URL is http://www.pdxhomevet.com/portland-mobile-veterinarian-faq.html

  Thus, in the csv file filed I downloaded, the "old URL' was/portland-mobile-veterinarian-faq / and the"new URL"was/portland-mobile-veterinarian - faq.html

  He did create a new folder on my site, but it does not redirect to the new page.

  Help please!  I'll have to come back soon, or we will lose some business.

  I will try to clarify the confusion here and hope that this will help you understand how 301 redirects work in the BC system.

  If a URL ending with "/", it is treated as a file and not as a page. As mentioned Liam, you can't redirect a folder but only one page.

  The pages of your site with URLs ending with a ' / ' WordPress sites, we need to use a simple trick to get the redirects work. As Liam suggested, we must use index.html in the end to redirect these URLs. Lets take the example of one of your URL:

  If you want to redirect the http://www.pdxhomevet.com/portland-mobile-veterinarian-faq/ to http://www.pdxhomevet.com/portland-mobile-veterinarian-faq.html, you must create a folder with the name 'portland-mobile-vet-faq' in your BC site. Go to the 301 redirect UI and in the source folder, select the folder and in the URL, type index.html. You can then add the URL in the destination URL, and it will work.
