• ThinkPad Tablet 2 performance

  Hello! I think to buy 2 Tablet Thinkpad but have a few questions. I am currently using x 220 Tablet and I wonder what kind of performance I can get TT2. Unfortunately, I don't have any place where I could test the device.

  I usually use simultaneously the following applications (which means they are open at a time):

  -MS OneNote with a lot of inking, paste the PDF impressions, photos, etc.

  -Program PDF (for example. Foxit Reader) but also of PDF annotator

  -MS Live mail

  -Firefox

  Apart from this, the following applications have to run in the background:

  -dropbox
  -AVG antivirus free edition

  Currently, I have no problems with these applications, but my x 200 Tablet intel i3 and has 8 GB of memory. Now, I already have devices of the atom (shuttle sx35 with ION graphics) - but its performance is mediocre - I use it as a HTPC.

  Can a user TT2 said that the above programs can TT2 running smoothly on all? Especially the OneNote is why I would buy Tablet Windows exploited in the first place... Thank you in advance for your help!

  I have a similar setup (converted from the X220T) and use Evernote and Onenote on TPT2 without problems. I was concerned about the drop in performance. I think that Windows 8 in combination with the new Atom Processor improves the combination. I also had a Nokia mobile with an old Atom and Win7 - what a difference now. No problem with MS Powwerpoint or word. AVG works well and does not affect the speed. Surface Pro would have been my choice, but the battery life is not acceptable.

  Well, the 720 is a more recent than the 710 design. This means in general that it will be better, although I do not think that the specs are very different. The 720 has moved to the front speakers, so sound quality without a helmet should be better. In addition, the 720 has more storage and you can never have too much storage.

  Tablet lets you directly write on the screen or use your finger as an input device (if you select the multitouch option), so if you need for this feature, then the tablet will obviously be the best choice.

  If you do not use handwriting or touch screen, then the normal option x 220 mobile is better, because it's a little lighter than the model Tablet and also slightly more robust thanks to the design of hinge different.

  I suggest you buy a Windows Tablet, more precisely a preloaded with Windows 8.1, not Windows 7. Windows 7 has some touch support, but not like Windows which is strongly tactile 8.1 optimized.

  If the price isn't a concern, you should look into the new Surface 3 of Microsoft which is supported and you will receive the free update of Windows 10 later this year.

  Why I recommend Windows on an Android Tablet basis, many users complain finally support for Microsoft Office. Although Microsoft does not support Office apps on some ARM based tablets Android, its not complete office as Office for Windows.

  There are times you may want or need this in addition to maximize its usefulness as a PC.

  If you carry your computer in a bag that is made for a 13 "laptop, the small tablet will fit as well. I have done this and found the small tablet to work properly. However, I found a screen 13 inches of being terribly cramped for using Photoshop.

  A single user license for activating facilities on both machines. A license of elements allows for each platform in many cases (recently not the case from what I've seen).  If you have the disc, see if it contains the Mac installation files... If not then you should be able to install them via download as well.  I can't answer with any certainty to the last question because it depends on the previous question.  Personally, I wouldn't let an inexpensive piece of software not dictate a decision to purchase expensive equipment.
