  This problem may occur if the history file drive has been disconnected for too long. To continue registration of copies of your files, you will need to reconnect to your history file drive and reselect your network. You can start a backup manually, or wait for the next scheduled backup.

• C 5 click jump to url box in a new window javascript by train

  I'm having no luck with one of the solutions that I came up with, so I hope that someone else has had decent results.

  Using Captivate 5. I have my students jump to a URL that opens a document. They need the information contained in the document to the activity that comes after in Captivate. No there is no way to indicate I want the URL to open in a new window to minimize it and refer to it?

  I was not successful with the options "run the javascript", but eventually realized that there is an option in Captivate that allows this. I can't find in the help files, but a colleague knew about it.   Reaffirm Internet Explorer as default browser:

  1. Close all running programs.
  2. The default type in the start search box, and select default programs results.
  3. Click set your default programs select Internet Explorer in the left pane, and then click set this program as default.
  4. Back to default programs, click on set access and computer program defaults.
  5. Expand the custom section and select Internet Explorer under choose a default browser.
  6. OK on all open windows control panel.

  I place the FireFox icon in the dock. When I click to open FireFox it opens two windows both to the homepage.   These files are not supposed to be deleted. Quite possibly user.js (thanks for the heads-up jscher2000 on hidden file extensions. A movement bonehead by Microsoft) had a content in it that made all these pop-up windows. The user.js file is not there by default unless you did so it is safe to delete it.
