  Maybe it wasn't the drive first:

  Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
  a process that solves the problem.

  Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
  Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
  RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
  below.
  
  Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
  cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
  contacts data with a pencil eraser.

  Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
  manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

  Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
  the correct registry entries for your car.

  as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
  the parameters.

• Printer not visible when you try to add

  I'm trying to set up my Photosmart D110 printer on my mac.

  I had set it up previously, but when I open the HP utility, it could not find information about the printer, except that it was an Ink Jet.  The rest of the information was listed as ' - '.

  So, I deleted the printer, which intend to reinstall.  Now, when I click on the button '+' in printers and Scanners of system preferences module, no printer is listed.  I have the printer connected to my computer via USB.  I restarted my computer and the printer times nothing helps.

  I also followed the instructions HP has to install a printer on a Mac, which are essentially to what I listed above.

  I installed ePrint a couple of times, but he can't find anything. I suspect, it resembles alreadty installed printers.

  Before I uninstalled the printer, he was able to print.

  I can't find a real driver of the installation on the web files.  If someone could point me to them or give me some advice about how to force my machine to search for the printer, I would really appreciate it.

  My original goal was to make my printer to connect to my wireless router.  For some reason, asked a WEP key when my router is configured for WPA2.  I could not find information on the web this quirk, so I tried to troubleshoot it with the HP utility and so this fiasco.

  I don't know when, but the printer appeared magically without any intervention.

  In addition, it appears that the issue with WEP was that my WPA2 authentication code has spaces.  When I changed to something without spaces, the printer recognized as WPA2.  Go figure.

  I own both a T-900 of Fujitsu (64-bit Windows 7) and a HTC Rezound and have been using bluetooth to transfer files between them until a few days ago. Out of nowhere, bluetooth does not work anymore and now shows that "Bluetooth device" driver is not found. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it from many different sites, try different, but for some reason bluetooth packages some do not fix the problem of Bluetooth device. My computer can not find other bluetooth devices, and my phone does not recognize my computer as a bluetooth, even with the two device are detectable. If someone had a similar problem or knows how to fix Bluetooth device? Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Symptoms: Booted computer, loaded the raid drivers and showed at the start screen XP for half a second then to BSOD with a Stop error Code 0x0000007E - see also a lot of users (0xC0000001D, 0 x-, etc.) as well.

  Solution:

  1 boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console. You may need to press F6 while RC loads in order to load the SATA drivers. you will have a prompt c:\WINDOWS to the console.

  2. type: CD $NtUninstallKB977165$ \spuninst (it's the update, I had to uninstall to get out of the boot loop, other updates can be uninstalled by changing the name of the directory to $NtUninstallKBCODE$, where KBCODE is the code KB)

  3. type: BATCH spuninst.txt

  4. type: exit

  Don't forget to configure your system to boot from the HD before resuming. I hope this helps. Saved me a lot of hassle today.

  It depends, but generally, no..

  Guidelines for the minimum system requirements are especially on what we and won't fix the bugs for.  Flash Player probably works on Windows Server 2000 and we will not intentionally break it or prevent you from installing, but we will also not fix it if it breaks.  In cases where it will crash on launch or some other out-of-box horrible experience, like trying to install on a Mac PowerPC, then we will prevent pure and simple installation.

  However when this time this tour when it prompted me to activate, running slui.exe does not (no dialog box etc..)

  This activation problem may occur if the Service for the Protection of software (SPPSVC) is stopped or damaged. Normally this isn't a problem, since you can just restart the Service. Sometimes, an error is received when you try to restart the Service. This indicates a more serious cause of 'root' for the service having damaged.

  Restart the Software License Manager Service:

  (2) type: cmd in the search field
  (3) at the top of the start window, you will see cmd.exe

  Hey guys and girls,

  I've spent the last 20 hours, trying to solve the problem of not being able to install windows server 2008 r2 on a new Dell server.

  My configuration is:

  Dell PowerEdge R310

  4 x 1 TB 7.2 K SATA HDD

  Controller Raid PERC H700

  I can't even install the drivers that I downloaded from the Dell support site because Windows Server 2008 Setup will not recognize them.  These factors include the Raid Controller, chipsets Intel, SATA etc.

  I used the settings default, all changed the Auto Off Ports and vica versa, I put the server in Raid and ATA mode with all the possibilities, but it will be will not detect any HD!

  Please help, as it is essential for my health, employment and mental health.

  What OS?  What RAID controller?  How many discs?  The size?  RAID level?

  I can't assume that everything is the same, especially when you have a different system altogether which does not support the H700 (so the files would have been meaningless even if Dell had not broken links). :)

• How to fix a message on PC WIN XP SP3 "Path was not found" when you try to access a server?

  I have three PCs running Windows XP, SP3.  Two of them are in need of you connecting to a server (2003).  We only use the server as a print server.  There is a HP all-in-one printer connected to the server.

  Everything worked fine until this week when the PC non-server, and server computers could no longer access the internet or sign on the server to activate the printer.  The PC on which I write ths investigation has access to the Internet, but not on the server or printer.

  When I try to sign the server as admin using a remote connection, I get a message "path not found".  When I go to my network places, I do not see the server, nor can I access a virtual drive that is set up on the server for storing shared files.

  I am NOT literate same server; I took the direction with basic knowledge of more 2 years ago.

  Can someone help me solve this issue?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
