  • System Restore error: "the changes to the G: drive after this point cannot be reversed, because the drive has been either excluded from monitoring system restore or has been disabled or deleted.»

I had some problems with my computer recently I knew could be solved with the system restore.  Then I went into system restore and went to a restore point that was a few weeks back.  After I clicked on it and pressing the ok button, the following message appeared: "the changes made to the G: drive after this point cannot be reversed, because the drive has been either excluded from monitoring system restore or has been disabled or deleted.»  I let it continue and do the restore.  My computer has rebooted and came up with an error in system restore that says restore failed.  It's the same thing with other restore points.  I don't know why I get this error because I not made any changes to this hard drive except for copy of a document word on him.  I thought that the System Restore monitors removable disks.  Anyone know what is happening here and how I can get the restoration of the system to operate without the mistakes to come?

I have Norton.  Disable the Tamper Protection works.  I also noticed that since the G: drive was a portable hard drive, System Restore wanted to exercise oversight.  He wants to monitor all hard drives.  Turn on external and portable hard disks prevents tracking system restore changes to the readers.  I don't think anyone would have the system restore review external drives anyway.  It is not necessary.

  • E-mail and calendar will not connect on a dual monitor system.

I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid-2012) running on Yosemite 10.10.5.  I currently have a system of dual monitor hooked up with an Acer monitor (version: AL1916W Abd ~ Jan. 2008).  When I use this monitor as Desktop 2 and move my apps to email and calendar to this office, I suddenly find that mail will not receive any new messages very well and the calendar will often lose the connection and does not update to mobile.  I thought maybe of interference on the WiFi, but Google Chrome runs on the desktop at the same speed as on my laptop.  Perhaps it is still a form of interference, but I don't know what is the cause or how to fix it.  Perhaps the monitor is too old and now is not compatible with my operating system?  The monitor is connected with a VGA XAVIER to converter Thunderbolt and a VGA cable normal VGA.

The internet I use is the internet at the University where I work, so reset the router or something like that is not an option.  Help?

  • How to add a second monitor system

I have a desktop HP Pavilion a6430f with a computer card Nvidia Geforce 6150 SE Video.  I want to add a second monitor.  I spoke with the Staples tech guy and he told me that because of the configuration of the motherboard on this system, I can not add a second video card, I need to replace the existing with a double monitor Cardinal card... is this true?  True or not, please tell me the correct map to newegg\where ever.  I don't play games, I'm a developer and must keep costs down.  Thank you.

Yes it looks like everything you are looking for. 300W min, 512 MB, and dual display capable (as long as the monitors are video standard and the other is DVI or HDMI.) Good to go

  • I can't find a compatible Nvidia graphics card and monitor system of the body/Neo3D 3D

Adobe first Pro CS5.5 / specification tecniques (http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html) lists the graphics cards that can be used to accelerate video editing.  I want to set up a system similar to what Dave Helmly is described (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqi_qivG82c) with a computer 3D monitor and 3D TV secondary screen.  However, the 3D monitors that I saw as an Asus (http://usa.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/VG236H/#overview) indicate graphics cards Nvidia that no overlap with those specified on the website of the organization.  Also, I found no towers locally that come with an appropriate Nvidia card.  I found some that have a free PCIe slot.  I need two cards in any case; However, the graphics card that comes with some of these machines specifies a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600.

    Here are my questions:
    (1) what Nvidia graphics cards are both supported by the Organization and support of 3D monitors?  I'm looking on the bad feedback?  The Alienware site does not specify which graphics cards are compatible.
    (2) if the integrated video card has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600, does mean that if I want resolution 1920 x 1080 for each of the two eyes I need format (output HDMI to 3D TV) alternate-frame sequencing?

I have not bought equipment yet, I am looking for options that work.  Thanks for your help.

Hi Dennis, you need one of the Quadro graphics cards to do what you want (use the Nvidia 3D output). GTX cards will be released to a secondary 3D display, but only side by side and more to the title. I have a GTX 480 which I use with the body and Neo, main monitor is 2560 x 1600 (non - 3D), my secondary monitor is a Sony 32 "3D TV on which I discovered 3D since the timeline and FirstLight mode side by side. To be honest, I change and cut in 2d mode and really only use the monitor 3d for the color calibration (which is different for 3D 2D because of the need to reduce areas of contrast high which cause ghost images) and for the z depth of positioning for the composition and titles.

  • Dell U2715H as second monitor sleep problem

I just bought a Dell U2715H monitor to connect to my iMac 27 "mid-2010.

Implementation, the system works beautifully. Plug n play, as we are accustomed to the Apple universe.

But after an automatic start, this morning, the Dell remained black, what I tried.

A phone call with the helpdesk Dell did not bring a solution; they are willing to trade for a new monitor, but I think not (just a feeling) which will tackle the problem.

After having a cup of coffee, I came back to my Mac, who had fallen asleep in the meantime.

Pressing a button all of life, including (surprise) the Dell monitor system.

After a few experiences, I discovered that after a reboot, the Dell remains black.

Put the system to sleep (using a hot corner) and pressing a key is not wake up the Dell.

Bringing the system to sleep and pressing a button after waiting 10-20 seconds, puts the entire system, including the Dell monitor.

The monitor is connected to a mid 2010 iMac 27 "2.93 GHz Intel Core i7, with a miniDP to DP cable.

Although I found this 'solution' after hours of frustrating attempts, it feels a bit inadequate.

Anyone who is familiar with this problem who found a more definitive solution?

Take a look at my system restore points, I found that it was not. There is no reason I know for it - system restore has been on, but being created no restore points - I turned it off and then new and now that it will create restore again points.

Something happened to me I was had been looking at some dodgy sites "make money on the web easily" just out of curiosity. Anyone know of any malicious dishes that destroys the restore points. It would be a sneaky way to stop the removal of spyware.

Also I noticed some automatic update of Microsoft had just completed installation - would this have deleted restore points? From what I read the auto create restore points updates not remove them.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Hello

    I found this info:

If there is no free disk space on the monitored system drive or on any of the available non-system drives, System Restore purges restore systematically points in all monitored partitions to free disk space. If the free disk space falls below 50 MB on any monitored partition, System Restore will stop watch and suspend.

  • selection of development system

I'll build a test bench and you want to use LabVIEW as a control and a monitoring system. I have planned for the full development system, but after reading the specifications for the basic system, according to me, that I'm able to use it instead. I hope that someone with more knowledge of LabVIEW will be able to give me some advice on this subject.

    The LabVIEW requirements are:

Log data of about 10 sensors (thermocouples, load, pressure, speed) for several hours (about 30).

The sampling rate when a certain temperature is reached.

    Order two servos.

    Control a motor inverter.

For display purposes, perform data manipulation using basic mathematics.

If anyone can advise me on my choice, I would be very grateful.

    Kind regards

    Steve

    Steve,

Choose the right package for you depends not only on the requirements of your current project. This is what you will use in the future and what tools need you to do.

As example, let's take the LV Application Builder. It is part of the professional package, but not of database development. When picking the one-based, so you'll need this toolkit as addon separate if you want to create an EXE file on your request later. Or you upgrade your Base of professional who will create additional costs.

According to the engine, you might be interested in NI Motion or NI Soft Motion. You can learn more about this here. If the engine (or external motor controller) does not require you to work/use defined control circuits (for example, the PID), it is possible you don't need those.

As a recommendation: download an evaluation version (evaluation) and looking for the functions that you will use (coming soon). Using of each function, it is listed package that you need in order to access this feature. If all are "Core development", this is the perfect package for you (except maybe above mentioned Application Builder)!

  • Dell XPS 8500 with 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7570 - how to connect two monitors or?

Hi, I got my Dell XPS 8500 today with the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7570.

Before buying the office, I read online that the AMD Radeon HD 7570 supports Eyefinity.   Eyefinity is supposed to be capable of supporting 4 monitors using the HD 7570 map by the description here: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7570/Pages/radeon-7570.aspx#2

When you look at the photos of the Dell XPS 8500 online I thought that Eyefinity support was to use a display in addition to the DVI port Port.   Specifically, I thought that a monitor has been supported by DVI monitors while 4 thru two supported using an active connection to the view port using a product like the DisplayPort Accell UltraAV K087B-005 / 3 x multi-monitor DVI - D single-link adapter.

To my surprise the graphics card came with an HDMI port, not a display port and I believe that HDMI port is a connection from one to the other, and not one of many display connection.   Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong on this point.   But if I'm not wrong then, this would imply that, at most, the Dell XPS 8500 with the AMD Radeon HD card 7570 can support up to only 2 monitors (one DVI port) and the other HDMI port instead of 4 monitors as described on the above link.

Others would agree with this statement?

Note that the Dell XPS 8500 also has a VGA connector on it but I tested it using a monitor on VGA and a monitor on the DVI connection and the computer that reported as an invalid monitor config.   Probably because the VGA and DVI connections are originally the same video display as connect two monitors to display even has no logical sense.

I have not tested the HDMI port for the second monitor again mainly because I don't have a spare HDMI cable on site at the present time.   I'll probably buy one tomorrow unless I see the comments of my post, specifying that a second monitor can be moved through the HDMI port on the AMD Radeon HD 7570 map...   I'd be surprised if that were the case (1 monitor system would be quite restrictive), but it is difficult to say with certainty, because the VGA and DVI connections at the same time have been marked by the computer as an invalid configuration...

Any thoughts on the different ways to configure multiple monitors with the XPS 8500 and the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7500 is appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Doug

If the card is not a display port is not an eyefinity card and cannot stand 3 monitors... it will be 2 monitors, no problem... I couldn't find anywhere on the site of Dell, where he says that the card was eyefinity... If you want 3 assumption of monitors you can buy a video card that supports.

  • Bluetooth Monitor device

Last Tuesday (17/09/2013) my system has been updated via the automatic updates from Microsoft.  There were 22 updates 'important '.  Once the updates have been filled and I restarted my laptop 13 t-2000 HP ENVY spectrum XT Ultrabook CTO, I noticed that the status icon network in the right side of the taskbar (a "staircase" icon) had a blue "donut" or circle over it and my Ultrabook was out of order (for example, it appeared to "hang" and I could not launch msconfig.exe).  After about 15-20 minutes, the blue "donut" on the network status icon disappeared and the Ultrabook connected to the network.

Before the updates of Microsoft 17/09/2013 my Ultrabook did not display the above behavior.

I contacted HP support and over the 2 days had 3 different online discussion sessions.  The outcome of these discussions was to start my Ultrabook in "Safe Mode with networking" and then use the program msconfig.exe to disable * ALL * the service system and restart my Ultrabook.  After the restart, the above problem behavior reappeared not and some, but not all, of my services system were automatically reactivated.

I reactivated every remaining disabled system service one by one and rebooted my Ultrabook every time.  I was able to successfully reactivate all except one of the services of the system, namely the "Bluetooth Device Monitor" service, without going through the system to display the above problem.  The reactivation of the "Bluetooth Device Monitor" service system caused the above behavior reappear.

My Ultrabook running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit operating system.  The "Bluetooth Device Monitor" file is located in my "C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Bluetooth\devmonsrv.exe' (and its version of file is 2.0.0.130).

None of the other PCs (all Windows 7 Pro 64-bit systems), iPads, iPhones or MacBook in this House has no problem to start and connect to my network.  Therefore, I think that I can safely rule out the router, modem, etc. as potential problems.

Also has anyone seen this problem witht the "Bluetooth Device Monitor" system service?  Does anyone have a suggestion to fix?  Can I leave the "Bluetooth Device Monitor" system service is disabled (that is - this used dedicated... my mouse Bluetooth works very well with this service disabled system)?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide answers to these questions.

I solved the problem!  Here is the solution...

"Intel PROSet Bluetooth Driver" HP tech support asked me to download and install would not move as described in my previous posts.

I checked the software for the "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Bluetooth" Intel Download Center for Windows 7 (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22860) to see is there something available and found the pilot version of the 3.0.1304 file.

I downloaded the "BT_3.0.1304_s64.exe" file on the Intel site and he then ran after downloading to my laptop.  The installer asked me if I wanted to replace my driver of Bluetooth existing (version 2.0.15.30150) with a more recent version (version 3.0.24.40063).  I clicked 'Yes' and the Setup program has successfully completed the installation process.  Then, I rebooted my laptop Ultrabook

After the laptop straightened out, I checked the Device Manager to confirm the update of the driver:

Then use the program msconfig.exe, re-activated 'Bluetooth Device Monitor', 'Bluetooth support Service' and «Bluetooth OBEX Service» system services  After this, I restarted my laptop Ultrabook.

The laptop rebooted and found quicky the and on my network.  The problem that I described in my original post did not reappear.  So I'm going to mark this thread of message like "Accept as Solution" and close it.

I hope this information can help others who have the same problems.

  • When you build your own PC for an operating system you buy Windows 7 or Windows 7 OEM?

I need to know this! XD

Conditions of licence for the 'Windows 7' system builder OEM version requires that you sell your computer. This asside, all OEM versions are related to the 1st motherboard you install on and can not be moved to another computer or motherboard.

You're better off in the long term to buy the full version "Retail".

I also suggest that after you have built your computer which test you with a non activated Windows (installation keyless) version.

  • Put the pump extracts the intermediate system

    Hi guyz,

I need to throw the intermediate system. I installed just soft GoldenGate on a separate server.

    Architecture:

There is an excerpt on the 1 server, that copy paths to the intermediate system to the 2nd Server. There is a replicate 3rd server to Oracle database record.

I need simply copy paths from the 2nd to the 3rd server using GoldenGate server.

I have a problem on the 2nd (intermediate system) server when I set up a pump extract described in official documents (5.4.2 intermediate system):

2015-04-17 13:28:29 ERROR OGG - 01668 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, epmp1.prm: PROCESS ABENDING.

Before that, I did the def file.

    Please, help in advance

Pumps do not use TRANLOG. Pumps to read from the trails that the excerpt written.  This is the track that reads from the pump: EXTTRAILSOURCE /u01/app/oracle/ggs/11.2/dirdat/tr

    So to change it, would you say ALTER EXCERPT epmp1 extseqno 0 extrba 0<--Or whereever="" you="" want="" to="" alter="" it="" to. ="" extseqno="" 0="" is="" the="" first="" trail="" which="" would="" have="" been="" produced="" by="" the="" extract,="" such="" as="">

But can also go a step backward.  Have your primary extract writing to a remote system is not a good idea for a production environment because if the network goes down, the main excerpt.  Ideally, what you want is the excerpt and the pump has been running for the source server and just use the pump for broadcase trails to whatever or targets that interest you.  I don't see the reason why you would need a server share whole just to operate the pump, and you add also risk the main excerpt.
